What if the car that would back up is five cars ahead of the space policing the whole street? Does he have a claim on any spot that opens up? This happened to me once. There was a car about five car s up the street. Of course I got the space, but the immigrant in the other car was furious and threatened me, to no avail of course because I wrote down his number and told him if anything happened to my car I'd call the police.
