Actually, if they change there words it's called a Version, a cover is when you change the backing of the song to fit your own style, you don't change the lyrics unless of course it's male to female or vice versa for example, Lady GaGa - Poker Face "I Wanna Role With Him a Hot Pair We Will Be" if a male COVERED it, the only change would be to "I Wanna Role With Her a Hot Pair We Will Be"
