  • Deepest respect for you gentlemen and for the fantastic job you do

  • Meh. What would really have been impressive is if the chopper landed on the ship ...

  • the only fool is you. i am protected by the freedom of speech so if i choose to see if the boat can be charted so be it. nothing foolish about asking a question. the only foolish question is one that is not asked. did'nt your mother and father teach you if you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything at all. i guess ignoramisis have the 1st amendment protection as well if your an american citizen. so in plain english go fuck yourself you stupid fuckin dickless moron.

  • can i charter this boat in these seas????? im not kidding i'd go. this would be the rush of a life.

  • @eazygnome09 It is a rescue ship, used to save life of pro fishermen in difficulties, or to serve islands residents, but not meant to be used by fools.

  • Ten Point!!!!!!!!!

  • superbe ses image chapeau les gars!!!!

  • Tiens on ne parle pas francais à ouessant?

  • wah moi qu es ouessantin!

  • ca c pas des pd...

  • yes, it's dutch. The guy is saying that the abeille Flandre tug boat is one from the most powerful in the world, works with a copter from French Military navy. This Tug boat had been sent on rescue on Amocco Cadiz , a tanker wich finaly sank in the sea and flood the French coast with thousands tons of crude oil. It's now replaced by the "Abeille Bourbon" on Ouessant (close to the channel, between england and France) while the Abeille Flandre works now in the mediteranean sea.

  • Wow! Those are awesome seas and that is an impressive ship indeed. Slamming full speed into waves of that magnitude would easily buckle the bow of a lesser ship. If I understand the commentary correctly this was shot during a rescue operation outside Brest (France)?

Btw, in my opinion that is not an ugly language at all. I quite like the sound of it - is that Dutch by any chance?

Thanks for posting this. It definitely goes into my favorites!

  • yes kalle brest is france andthe language is indeed dutch. (it's my main language)

and you did undertand it correctly: The helicopter you see in the video and the abeille flandre are one team and they rescue (by towing) ships that are in trouble.

  • lol canvas

  • L'helico a pas intérêt à rester là sinon il va se faire emporter...

  • Not uglier than English my friend; -)

  • UGLY language!

  • @tasdecons stfu trol

  • I wouldn´t want to be crew of the helicopter either ...

  • Eats rogue waves and tsunami's for breakfast...

  • GREAT!!

  • You call that bad weather?! Well let me tell you guys something! Thats nothing! 4 score and 7 years ago, "umm" ok ha ha ha, just kidding. I would have had to change my BVD's if I was on that boat. Great Video Awsome camera footage! 5 star!!!

  • OMG!!! That just scares the shit out of me....

  • prachtige video opnamen

  • great footage,, how high were those waves?

  • very, very large...... large enough to crap ur pants just watching it! lol! theres some awsome footage of the Flandre on a rescue to some container ship.

    Now that was big!!

  • Can you give the name of the sight with the container ship rescue please. I've looked but can't find it yet. I'd be most grateful.

The waves, by the way, look as if they are in the region of 8m. What makes this impressive is the fact that they are so short between crests.

    Thanks.

  • 14 meters

  • Hey!

    Renger
