I've followed his work since the early days. I played myself as a teenager thru my early 20's using many of his techniques. A very under rated member of the band, and probably one of the most diverse musically. Dave and Jonathan Cain from Journey are 2 to really look at, but see past the minor stuff they do in their commercial music.

I saw Bon Jovi last night and watched David all night, never knew anything about him and so thankful to have been able to watch him. He is the best keyboard artist I have ever seen in my life.

David Bryan is the monster keyboardist. I don't care much for Jon Bon Jovi or Sambora, when I have Bon Jovi in my mind, David Bryan comes first to my mind. I even say his name when I mean Bryan Adams, I always say David Brian first. But that's me. I like keyboard players.

Wow how can you make that list and leave out Jonathan Cain? Also if you can find it, back around the time New Jersey was released David did a tutorial video, showing a lot of his classical background and how he adapted that to Jovi's most popular songs.

your right i did leave out cain...my bad...but cain is very good too and has that classical ability but david is way past this... i have this video from a while back and he is eating mcdonalds... and showing people how to play pink flamingos and a few songs from sww its an instuctional video

Oh do't get me wrong, back in the late 80's early 90's i played in a band myself, my main influence was David. His style along with classical training used in his additions to the BJ songs were a major role in my own style. Too bad I gave it up mid 90's, I'm glad he's still going strong.
