i didnt know she died . this song was just so sweet like her i rememeber singing this song when my ex and i broke up . may she be in peace now and out of her pain rest in peace nicolette
BEAUTIFUL SONG BY SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN:):) SHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST FEMALE SINGERS AND PERFORMERS HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):) ITS SO SAD THAT SHE PASSED AWAY AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE:(:( WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH MORE MUSIC SHE WOULD HAVE ACCOMPLISHED? SHE DID SO MUCH IN THE TIME SHE SPENT WHILE HERE ON EARTH:) REST IN PEACE ALWAYS DEAREST NICOLETTE LARSON:)
im so sad she is not here any longer to bless us with her beauty and her beautiful voice i know shes in heaven now singing with the other angels we have loved and lost. but i thank her for giving me a song that makes me happy.
@justinbirds She died Dec. 16, 1997, Los Angeles, CA. Cerebral edema precipitated by liver failure. Unfortunately she abused drugs. The world lost a talented singer and this is one helluva beautiful song. One hit, but a magnificent one.
It's a pitty she's not here anymore in this world, but her songs are.She would have ment allot to Country music! She was great in the Seventhies.I've have her on the "No Nukes"album singing Lotta Love with The DoobieBrothers.1979 it was and manny other artists like Crosby,Stills and Nash,Ry Cooder,Bonnie Raid etc...
My absolute favorite song from the late 1970's. What a fantastic voice Nicolette really had. Great lyrics and orchestration in this song. I've always been surprised that this song didn't get the radio play that others did. LOVE IT!
Nicolette was an absolutlely gorgeous young lady, tremendous voice and this is a great song. To Russ and Elsie. You were really blessed to have loved and been loved by such a wonderful person. May you have peace in knowing that Nicolette brought happiness to many with her music.
I remember this tune was a big hit when me and the family loaded everything we had into the truck and move out West. We could almost always find it playing somewhere on the old AM or FM radio bandwidths as we traveled 1700 miles. Nicolette was great.... I miss her and this tune
Nicolette is soooo awesome!! I really wish that perhaps a family member would write a Biography of Nicolette Larson. There's sooooo much more that I want to know about her! Rest in God's eternal peace, Nicolette
This song captures the essence of life. Bork-en love and the hardships to change. "My heart needs protection and so do I". Love that line. So true.. All you need is love and two solid feet on the ground. Now when your young and in love that's cool when you have all the time in the world. Great tune. Such a catchy chorus. Love the sax solo. Cool Wayne
@wrxmike123 I was actually a fan of the way she raises and lowers her voice an octive in one word long before the video but yeah the video helps too:)
The record industry killed this beautiful angel. She was a backup singer on many hits and Linda Ronstact heiped her get a solo career. Lotta Love was a great hit but Fool Me Again which is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard didn't crack the top 100. The critics didn't give her a chance and she started to take meds for depression and lack of sleep. She died from a cerebral adema.
simply a fantastic singer ..who never got the credit for her wonderful talent..she was sensational..even today she sounds just great ..God Rest her soul......We need people like this lady in our world today.....God bless
essa cantora apesar de ter ido embora pro outro mundo ela faz muita falta no mundo artistico só quem viveu aquela época sabe como é bom recordar suas lindas canções
does anyone remember a song called "savannah" that came out round the same time as this hit the charts? i cant find out who sang it, it was in this same kinda sound genre
Have to agree with the consensus...being born in 65 and not a big 70's baby, this is a timeless tune with a raspy angelic voice that you could listen to over and over. Angelic is a good word! Miss ya Nicolette
Hope everyone realizes this was written and recorded first by the great Neil Young. This is a good disco cover. Would never guess this song would be used like this. And she was so hot. Wow!
This song happen to have been one of my favorite songs during the time it had came out; to this day I do still love this song, because it does bring back a lot of fond memories for me that I tend to look back on every now and then.I did not know until recently that Nicolette had passes away. God bless you Nicolette, I'll always remember you and A Lotta Love. irvinbean123
@NAMDOG54 I just went to check and it seems that there was no suicide in this case. People should not post eroneous info about people but............what can you do. anyway Nicolette was as good a backup singer as there ever was and as we can hear, sings beautifully up front as well.
