  • NEIL YOUNG WROTE THIS SONG :)

  • Match this song up against other music, and virtually none can beat it. No music made today can come close to this one.

  • for me is one the best love song...and this singer one the best too..so adorable woman..rip God take her in His arms

  • Gone tooooo soon!

  • i didnt know she died . this song was just so sweet like her i rememeber singing this song when my ex and i broke up . may she be in peace now and out of her pain rest in peace nicolette

  • Dec 16, 1997. 14 years ago on this date the world lost the voice of an angel RIP Nicolette.

  • Wow, Idk what made me think about this song but I remember loving it as a kid.

I rememember being a little girl and wanting her thick beautiful hair!!

anyway something about her voice and this song was so soothing to me as a kid..

I actually didn't know she died?...she must have been very.young.

    Thanks for the video.

  • I really love her voice, even now as I did way back then.

  • beautiful song!!!!! very good......love

  • BEAUTIFUL SONG BY SUCH A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN:):) SHE WAS ONE OF THE BEST FEMALE SINGERS AND PERFORMERS HANDS DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:):) ITS SO SAD THAT SHE PASSED AWAY AT SUCH A YOUNG AGE:(:( WHO KNOWS HOW MUCH MORE MUSIC SHE WOULD HAVE ACCOMPLISHED? SHE DID SO MUCH IN THE TIME SHE SPENT WHILE HERE ON EARTH:) REST IN PEACE ALWAYS DEAREST NICOLETTE LARSON:)

  • Lovely Spirit! sorry for people too cynical to embrace the words...

  • im so sad she is not here any longer to bless us with her beauty and her beautiful voice i know shes in heaven now singing with the other angels we have loved and lost. but i thank her for giving me a song that makes me happy.

  • @543lisamarie how and when did nicolette die?

  • @justinbirds She died Dec. 16, 1997, Los Angeles, CA. Cerebral edema precipitated by liver failure. Unfortunately she abused drugs. The world lost a talented singer and this is one helluva beautiful song. One hit, but a magnificent one.

  • It's a pitty she's not here anymore in this world, but her songs are.She would have ment allot to Country music! She was great in the Seventhies.I've have her on the "No Nukes"album singing Lotta Love with The DoobieBrothers.1979 it was and manny other artists like Crosby,Stills and Nash,Ry Cooder,Bonnie Raid etc...

  • i have always loved this song brings back memories shes beautiful!!

  • A Neil Young written-song, if anyone didn't know

  • This is such a sweet, lovely, classic song. How could 3 people dislike it? Baffling.

  • @xander7ful i agree

  • @xander7ful

It is called personal opinion. Celine Dion sold what 100+ million cds but her voice makes me want to scratch my eyes out.

  • This was one of the best songs ever made. She would have turned 59 a few weeks ago (July 17). RIP

  • awesome song

  • My absolute favorite song from the late 1970's. What a fantastic voice Nicolette really had. Great lyrics and orchestration in this song. I've always been surprised that this song didn't get the radio play that others did. LOVE IT!

  • @Buffalobigboy69 I AGREE!!!!!!!!

  • SWEET !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's gonna take a lot of talent to find another singer like Nicolette.

  • Nicolette was an absolutlely gorgeous young lady, tremendous voice and this is a great song. To Russ and Elsie. You were really blessed to have loved and been loved by such a wonderful person. May you have peace in knowing that Nicolette brought happiness to many with her music.

  • 3 dislikes???????? Oh man you have to be having a laugh right??????

    not possible..

Gorgeous woman and an equally gorgeous number..

    Always will remember nicolette xx

  • I can't get enough of this song.I can listen to it all day long.

  • Linda música do ano de 1981.

  • Beautiful music, woman, song and voice...RIP

  • I'm pretty sure this is from the May 28, 1988 episode of Solid Gold.

  • What year is this anyone ?

  • GREAT SONG

  • Thanks Nicolette..........Thanks Neil

  • Is it me or did she just get more beautiful the older she got?

  • Very good memorys, beautiful song and woman, she left us way to soon.

  • beautiful song. one of my all time favorites.

  • I remember this tune was a big hit when me and the family loaded everything we had into the truck and move out West. We could almost always find it playing somewhere on the old AM or FM radio bandwidths as we traveled 1700 miles. Nicolette was great.... I miss her and this tune

  • AWESOME

  • Nicolette is soooo awesome!! I really wish that perhaps a family member would write a Biography of Nicolette Larson. There's sooooo much more that I want to know about her! Rest in God's eternal peace, Nicolette

  • LOVE THIS!

  • True Cool Wayne !

  • This song captures the essence of life. Bork-en love and the hardships to change. "My heart needs protection and so do I". Love that line. So true.. All you need is love and two solid feet on the ground. Now when your young and in love that's cool when you have all the time in the world. Great tune. Such a catchy chorus. Love the sax solo. Cool Wayne

  • @Ebonyivorymusic AMEN!!

  • NICOLETTE LARSON is beatifull,pretty

  • love this song!!!!

  • Belissimo! Beautiful woman, beautiful voice, beautiful song...I hadn't realized she was gone. Bless you Nicolette.

  • LOTTA HAIR.......SHE'S STUNNING...

  • love this song

  • she was sexy

  • Dulces recuerdos vienen a mi mente como el dia en q te conocí amada mia..

  • 1:15 and for the next 5 seconds I love how she sings solituuuuddde

  • @compaq2441 That's called the power of the tilted head, pouty smile and mischevious eyes...And,it got you!! :-) Nicolette was stunning in her time.

  • @wrxmike123 I was actually a fan of the way she raises and lowers her voice an octive in one word long before the video but yeah the video helps too:)

  • I am sure you all know that this song was written by the great Neil Young. This is a great version. I wonder when this video was done.

  • R.I.P. Nicolette. A truly great voice and song!

  • such a great song.

  • The Music industry killed this beautiful angel. Read bio on the internet. It says it all.

  • The record industry killed this beautiful angel. She was a backup singer on many hits and Linda Ronstact heiped her get a solo career. Lotta Love was a great hit but Fool Me Again which is one of the most beautiful songs I have ever heard didn't crack the top 100. The critics didn't give her a chance and she started to take meds for depression and lack of sleep. She died from a cerebral adema.

  • How can anyone not like this song. One of the best of the 70's.

  • Women were much more subtle back then. Much sexier. Like Stevie Nicks said, "There's no mystery left."

  • Nicolette THANK YOU So Much For This Song

  • simply a fantastic singer ..who never got the credit for her wonderful talent..she was sensational..even today she sounds just great ..God Rest her soul......We need people like this lady in our world today.....God bless

  • essa cantora apesar de ter ido embora pro outro mundo ela faz muita falta no mundo artistico só quem viveu aquela época sabe como é bom recordar suas lindas canções

  • Alway loved this girl. Another special talent taken away from us so early.

  • at 1:19 she tilts her head to the side and it makes me melt away, she is so sweet.

  • she was so natural, so sexy without trying...she sang this song so sincerely. Nicci left us way too soon. God bless her and her daughter.

  • She was so beautiful....that song gives me the chills

  • gotta be the 80's huh! look at that hair

  • does anyone remember a song called "savannah" that came out round the same time as this hit the charts? i cant find out who sang it, it was in this same kinda sound genre

  • @kinkasian joyce cooling

  • Have to agree with the consensus...being born in 65 and not a big 70's baby, this is a timeless tune with a raspy angelic voice that you could listen to over and over. Angelic is a good word! Miss ya Nicolette

  • An absolutely beautiful lady singing an absolutely beautiful song. She is missed greatly!

  • RIP! LOve this song!

  • R.I.P Nicole.

  • NICE

  • It's gonna need a lot of talent to have a voice like hers again...

You will always be in our hearts.

    RIP

  • @thegreatsamurai82 I didnt know she died! Wow! so sad! I luvd this song as a kid!

  • @thegreatsamurai82 usually I enjoy your comments, but for nicolette, I;m not sure I;d use the term '' took herself out "...........

  • @NAMDOG54 I just went to check and it seems that there was no suicide in this case. People should not post eroneous info about people but............what can you do. anyway Nicolette was as good a backup singer as there ever was and as we can hear, sings beautifully up front as well.

  • @thegreatsamurai82 That's a cold way to describe her death. She has a daughter who wouldn't appreciate seeing that.

  • @Sohrob1 this song was writen by neil young !!

  • @Sohrob1 U wrong!Neil Young got alots of songs much better.Agree about the singer. She's got the voice.

  • umas das minhas musicas freferidas linda linda.
