  • anything is toxic in the right ammount. This is actually a medicinal plant, and has been used as a treatments conterning the heart.

  • You can lead a horse to water, but you can't lead a horticulture.

  • Not nearly as toxic as Delphinium, Lupins, Aconitum and many more. For heavy soil add peat.

  • Beautiful flowers, but very toxic to both people and animals if injested. I might try planting some this year, do they ok in heavy soil ?(Lots of clay and some sand).

  • have you tried using coir products?? growbags, coco peat or husk chips???

  • No none of them. I use a standard 1-1-1(pearlite, peat,vermiculite) mix for everthing I do. Tropicals, Perennials, Annuals, Vegetables, etc. It is similar to "Pro Mix" but by making my own it allows me to adjust the nutrient level and PH.
