Tenchu should never have left the console that made it great, I play Shadow Assassins on Wii but one of my dreams is to play a classic tenchu style game on the ps3 with amazing graphics. They don't even have the first two games on the store :(
the secret to video game ninja killing online, is use the weapons on your fellow ninja, in co-op.. if they get in your way... they work... (your sword won't)..... its fun to hunt others as steath-ful as yourself, while avoiding the audience (who can kill you as well), game designers if you need my help, seek me out... (i could take your game beyond what mr hayes started it as..)
(if you saw what true stealth is, it would shock the game designers and not just these..martial art moves...) but thats video-games for you.. (and not adding a grappling hook in the wii version, is just a product killer...) i sold my wii because of just that.. the rest wasn't bad.... (sho-lung-dojo)

Put our a remastered version of wrath of heavan and fatal showdows and maybe inluce tenchu 4 on it as ps3 has move now (it cam out for psp so why not get out a ps3 version..?) And I personally would almost buy a 360 for Z, so I'm sure there is interest for tenchu Z on ps3, try to work with microsoft and get a port going. Finally, a brand new, returning to the roots of the game, tenchu game would be great!

Acquire have the rights to it now but they are going to make another Tenchu for PS3 and 360, these being the main consoles. heres the bad news, the new game will have a new name "Divine Retribution" it has Rin and Ayame as the main characters again, no Rikimaru again. i seen a screen and it was Rin and Ayame and Rin had a bandage around her eye, and it read "Divine Retribution" in Japaniese but i translated it.
so much to explore with blueray capacity , with jaw dropping graphics cutting ,sizzling and precision slicing would have been so much fun playing tenchu on ps3 .

im not sure but i've read that a new stealth game,developed by acquire is planned for the ngp...this means that either tenchu or shinobido is coming(i prefer tenchu)

Tenchu is bad represented in the media... i think also its one of the best game ive ever played with the most stunning storyline... but the media is the key 4 the rebuilding of a new game...
I am just APALLED and HURT that they did not bring this great game back. It does not make sense to me what so ever...If they would just do it right! have the story lines be long like GTA and make sense...reform the fighting. and some online free for all, team DM, etc play. IT WILL BE GREAT. Tenchu really really really makes Ninja Gaiden look like SHIT! If they do make a PS3 tenchu with hopefully what I listed, they should had a hint of crouching tiger gliding.

It seems that the game play was the best on the odd numbered games 1:Stealth Assassins & 3:Wrath of Heaven. 2 and 4 kinda sucked for me. The environments were either too limited as in 4, or gameplay too jilted as in 2, though I did like attacking from underwater.
I would LOVE to see Tenchu on the PS3! In fact I need it to continue my life in a fulfilling manner. What about combining Mirror's Edge (PS3) & Tenchu platforms for a 1st person ninja game also? Happiness is so simple for me.

@KINGWOLFi1 I spoke to one of the people of PSN and asked if they can release Tenchu 1 & 2 for PSN cause a new version for ps3 is problably never gonna happen since they sold the rights to the Wii for a trilogy which is soooo lame...

Tenchu is THE best ninja series of all time. I was disappointed with the 360 version. They need to remake this game and take it off of the damn Wii. Playstation owners need their exclusives back, and Tenchu is definately one of the must have exclusives of all time.
@IndigoPlaedian I think they just wanted to test their engine in the consoles when they put it on the Xbox and Wii. Im thinking PS3 will get their turn next but I hope the Xbox will still get a new one too.

I would LOVE to see Tenchu on the PS3! In fact I need it to continue my life in a fulfilling manner. What about combining Mirror's Edge (PS3) & Tenchu platforms for a 1st person ninja game also? Happiness is so simple for me.

they should definetly make a new tenchu game on ps3. the 4 tenchu games on psx and ps2 were some of the best games on these consoles. a shame that tenchu z for the 360 was crap. didn't play the one on wii, but it looked like shit too -.-

@KINGWOLFi1 I spoke to one of the people of PSN and asked if they can release Tenchu 1 & 2 for PSN cause a new version for ps3 is problably never gonna happen since they sold the rights to the Wii for a trilogy which is soooo lame...
and f*ckin stupid, who plays Wii anyways..
But the guy from PSN said Tenchu 1 & 2 were on the list for request on PSN since it was his favourite game too, so maybe that will happen soon!

Ninja Gaiden is Shit!!! compared to Techu...Tenchu was fun and you actually had to be stealth and it was more realistic...Greatest Ninja game ever Next to Naruto O_O

i had the first tenchu stealth assassins on ps1 and tenchu wrath of heaven and Ftala shadow on ps2 :D... and they were awesomee ,, now plzz makee a tenchu game on ps3 :p we owe that to playstation .

I really appreciate you for making this video man...The original Tenchu on the ps1 is still one of the best games around...And since Need for Speed and Driver 4 made their return to Sony ps3 at E3, im hoping for Tenchu to make its return as well on the ps3 at this year's TGS 2010!..

Tenchu is THE best ninja series of all time. I was disappointed with the 360 version. They need to remake this game and take it off of the damn Wii. Playstation owners need their exclusives back, and Tenchu is definately one of the must have exclusives of all time.

@IndigoPlaedian I think they just wanted to test their engine in the consoles when they put it on the Xbox and Wii. Im thinking PS3 will get their turn next but I hope the Xbox will still get a new one too.
