@PowerChairChick I came across this video un intentionally but after watching your other videos you have really inspired me and changed the way i see physically disavled people. Great work, keep it up! xx Genivieve xx
Girl, you really rocks. I just love watching your videos (I've seen many ... LOL) and learn more about PC ... I also love your responses to comments, very insightful and objective. Keep posting and showing everybody that you are normal, and especially happy cat! Already got a good friend / fan of Brazil. Kisses
no es divertido ver como sufren, tampoco estoy en contra de su preferencia de publicar sus videos, solo dire que me da mucha tristesa ver los mal ,sin poder ayudarlos en fin cuidense saludos
@rebandido777 Yo no estoy sufriendo.
Thank you for pointing this video out for me. Are you taken any Baclofen orally during this video? If so, may I also ask, how much? What communication device do you use to type up all your response on Youtube? I really appreciated all the hard works you put into Youtube videos to inform us with your success! Great job. in the future, u may want 2 replace "this" with "disability". it sounds better & doesnt make it sound so alien.
i have a mix between athetoid cerebral palsy (causes wiggly, uncontrollable movements) & spastic quad cerebral palsy (causes very tight muscles). cerebral palsy is caused by damage 2 the cerebrum (the part of the brain that controls muscle movements) shortly before, during, or shortly after birth. in my case, my airway became blocked during birth & my my moms birth canal was 2
small 2 deliver naturally. as a result, i suffered trauma 2 the brain. i had bleeding in the brain. & there u go. :-)
please dont feel sorry 4 me. i lead a full life. im happy. i graduated valedictorian in high school & im in college. i know a lot of people with much more severe disabilities than i have.
I just wanted to say that you're a real beauty. I also think it's excellent that you have documented the progress in a rather scientific and logical way. I hope your spasms are not as painful as they appear.
I just had a quick question, have you ever fallen out of your chair? and also are you now able to be more independent with your new pump and improved movements?
i always wear a seatbelt so i dont fall out. no,, im not really more independent.. the pump makes my muscles less tight, but doesnt help the uncontrollable athetoid movements.
I'd b interested to know what you're saying here too.on your other vids, too; I really do find it hard to not be interested and curious about what you're saying.Hope u don't mind that. :-)
you seem quite amzing, i do have a disabilty though. I am in a wheelchair, i am paralyzed from my chest down and get spasms in my legs and stomach and left sometimes. I use to be depressed but i no of others who have it worse and i like my life. I am not independ but geting there and i dont have bladder control. thanks so much for answering all the questions!
so i no this is personal but do you like,,like ur life it seems hard..and are you independent and do you have bladder controll, and do people ever stare at ur spasms..how do you talk, how long have you been liek that..btw i lover ur hair
from a non-disabled persons standpoint, my life seems hard, but when ur the disabled person, u cant think like that. theres no point. i know many ppl who have much worse disabilities than i.
no, 4 the most part, im not independent. i cant walk on my own, feed, shower or dress myself . yes, i do have bladder control & ppl do stare @ me cuz they dont understand. i talk just like every1 else, just not as clearly. ive had CP since birth.
I should share with with my friend she has CP and her spasticity is getting beyond what oral bacolfen will help with. I have the same pump but full of morphine.
im just wonderin, does it ever hurt? i mean it be that the twist is so hard like in the neck that it hurts?
