  • i dont know crap about wine and i like this guy but ... he does seem like hes on some kinda upper ya know ... so no nose snuffles ... most likely not coke. could be meth so much energy and so much talking ... new question whats this guy on ! ? :D

  • We've just posted a great video on Best Value Bordeaux!!! check it out!

  • Love it

  • Classic coke head...

By the way, you pour wine like a scum bag and you swish the wine like a schmuck. By the way, when you smell it at 2:08 you really look like you love it...yeah right and you look like you are able to throw up after tasting it...what a professional.

    Go to hell.

  • @kaceyspurgeon

    Someone is mad.

  • I don't post much except for Tanzer's website (International Wine Cellar). I think you need a subscr. to post (comes with other stuff - his reviews and ratings etc.). Let me check around for free sites and I'll let you know. I happen to like Tanzer's site because he's reasonable in his views (2d to Parker in my view) and the people on his site are friendly. Lotta snobbery BS in the business that most sites are not going to be worth your time. I'll let you know what I find.

  • thats what meth does to your speech pattern

  • American idiot...

  • Not a lot of airconditioning in Europe? ok...?

  • This should be CoffeeLibraryTV

  • I'm sorry, but why pour so much into the glass if you're just gonna sip some and then throw away the rest?

  • Because you need more to get the full nose, bouquet, and taste of the wine. A little sip doesn't do it and doesn't allow enough oxygenation. Air lets the wine breath -- which is, in part, why he pours it vigorously into the glass. It sloshes it around and oxygenates it. Would not do that with an older wine because you would stir up sediment. You would pour it much slower and more carefully. He knows what he's talking about even if you do not like his demeanor or presentation. He knows wine.

  • @Trambinator Thank you for the reply. Very informative and I'll keep this in mind when pouring wine in the future. Would you perhaps know of any good forums where knowledgeable people like yourself gather to discuss and share information with each other? I am an amateur at best when it comes to wine but I would very much like to learn more.

    Thanks.

  • @SingleServingJohn Yeah John no prob. TrampyG is right about Tanzer -- I agree 2nd to Parker and I do post there but not many other places except sporadically. I'll check it out for you as well and see what I can find that seems reputable. I assume by "amateur at best" you are looking for something general as opposed to specific boards dedicated to cult Tokay Pinot Gris. Haha. I'll get back to you.

  • this guys a fukin lunatic!!

  • You are spitting in the right bucket!!!!!!hate the jets!!!!

  • what are you even saying?

    bs

  • This is excellent...Thanks. Please watch "Wine &Time" on our page. Happy Holidays!

  • You havent decanted any of those wines, of course the wines dont have time to develop any character and their would be lots of sediment. Dude you suck

  • Bordeaux grows cabernet sauvignon, not cabernet franc, get it right if you want to report on it and you cant put any food with it, red meat only cause the tannin structure is too great

  • @MrMusicOfLife Actually, Bordeaux can grow: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Carmenere. Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, and Muscadelle. Remember, all Bordeaux wines are blended, and Cab Franc and Merlot are the most popular varietals to blend with.

  • In South Florida and love wine? This is the place to be! Come visit us!

  • An expert on something nobody cares about... COOL!

  • @skaterat121 Everyonr watching this channel is because we do care about it.

  • DRINK THE FUCKIN WINE.... stop pouring it out....

  • too much bla bla bla... boring...

  • very irritating!

  • Well this man must have a good heart regarding his mother.

But regarding wine tasting BLA BLA BLA could be fun to see this short cut but this just talk with empty wine soul, good for business who sale carpets, windows, detergents or wine nice talker but very poor wine description, have you had stinky wine who smell ass... on the top of it look the respect he have of the product.. very poor...

  • i want a sweet and fruity taste wine - tell me whats the name name brand to buy

  • @72ve17 try Boyden Valley Farms ice wine, some of the best wine I've ever had

  • Gary, thank you very much for your effort. It really worked, at least for those people who can appreciate it. I also respect your acknowledgment to your mum. + fully agree with your message on "open-mindness". You are indeed a very good person. Wish you all the best in exploring your interes in wine, and making it popular among diff.people & diff.nations!

With sincere compliments from Russia, Andrey / PS. you've already might know this, but just FYI - Toma is a short cute name for Tamara:)

  • at least make an effort to pronounce the french names correctly

  • Slurping not bad, it's required to really taste the wine for an accurate rating. However I would like to know how the finish is.

  • His slurping is appropriate.

  • the guy is over the top, his slurping is ridiculous

  • Who made you people the comment police? If winelibrary doesn't like the comments, they'll simply delete or block them.

  • whats that sound he makes while drinking

  • Dude, this is scary. You replied to one of my comments on the exact night I happen to be drinking Bordeaux. What the FUCK?

  • *epic music plays... no dude seriously

  • There must be so much anger in this world to vent on some random guy who tapes what he loves.

    Go VINO.

  • Classic description of the cave.

  • Why are people who, 1) Have no idea what wine is and, 2) Have no clue as to how to evaluate wine, responding to this video?

If your opinion is uninformed, keep your fingers off the keyboard.

  • Ya, but it takes a true liquor and drinking enthusiast to truly appreciate the taste of wine. You just go for the buzz, we go for the feel, taste and foundation of the drink. That's what makes us sophisticated, while you are a drunkard and alcoholic boozing fool.

  • I calls 'em like I sees 'em.

  • a. your a condescending cunt

    b. this guy would say that you are part of "whats wrong with the wine world"

  • "think of a cave...think of BATS..." LOL! Hilarious, so good though.

  • How many crack rocks did he smoke before this "wine review"?

  • I think this guy is on some good cocaine. I want some!!

  • Couldn't he just 4 glasses. Instead of using the wine to rinse the glass.

  • Enough of that swirling, drink that shit straight up like a man ho

  • enough of that swirling? that's like telling a baseball player not to hit his mitt when he puts it on. or more accurately, telling italian not to twirl his pasta. swirling is part of the method, it's not just a habit he has

  • shut up MoJoe nobody gives a shit what u think.

  • there's so much good that can come from the internet. and then there are people like you. if you can't participate in a conversation, then don't post.

  • LOL ok I'm sorry it was just a joke guy. you don't have to get all aggro on us.

  • Why is he so sped up? Is he tasting coffee?

  • yes, its actually coffee he is tasting.

  • Bravo, Gary; you're a Natural! I'm a New Yorker living in Bordeaux; I'm also one of your new suppliers - Chateau La Gatte - (Brendon was our contact). Small world - my cousin-in-law, Gerard Fenouillet, is the wine maker at Ferriere. Great tasting you did! Thanks for EVERYTHING & Happy Holidays - see you in March at WL, Michael Affatato (also on YouTube, just enter our chateau name)

  • ive never tasted wine (im only 15)

i just pretend kool aid is wine.

But i really FELL you on the mom thing.

  • Hostess pie? Mr. Bubbles?

    Crack?

  • quit talking like a fucking annoying jerk

  • i'd loose the bucket - just drink the wine! also stop rising out the glasses with expensive wine - some people in the world can only afford chilean and argentinian wine (was even worse in the red burgundy tasting when he was rinsing with 70 dollar wines)

  • Congratulations.. I don't know if you've done this already, but, if you like well structured wines, you might try South America. Don Melchor (by Concha y Toro). Great (by great I mean GREAT) Cabernet Sauvignon from Chile. I`d go for 2003. I have really been into south america wines and have found some awesome labels from Argentina and Chile.
