  • never relised that plastic pins hold your bumper on thats kinda scary the way cars are made now thanks for the tips now i can fix my single light

  • Yes that shit! lol yeah i guess some duct tape will do the trick. who the hell is going to notice anyways, right?

  • @nastypop usually its wrapped with black electrical tape to protect the rubber part from scratching too, haha i guess you can say extra protection ;]

  • @Specdtuninginfo Haha you have a point. But come to find out, i have a real bad dent on the right side of the front bumper. so not only has your video helped me once before, but now i will have the knowledge on how to remove my bumpber and HOPEFULLY** pop it back out. dude, this sucks. if it isn't one thing...ITS ANOTHER! lol oh well.

  • it's at 1:18. what purpose does the black plastic cover serve? may i remove it? mine is all jacked up and gives an ugly presence to my car when viewing it forward.

  • @nastypop are you referring to the black strip right under your white bumper? thats actually a rubber protector.. most vehicles come with that now to protect your bumper from scratching on surfaces. you may remove it, but we wouldnt recommend it

  • what's that black protector thing that's held by the screws called? mine is all torn up and would like to replace it! thank you

  • @nastypop for which part in the housing exactly are you referring to?

  • oh im in vancouver, bc, canada btw

  • hey great vid btw and where can i get those headlights? ebay? or can i purchase those from you guys?

  • WOW. Need to remove bumper. Great video. Needed this instruction on how to remove the headlight assembly!

  • @fueledbymusic3 we're glad that it helped! =D

  • what site did u get those headlights?

  • @zero808zero please visit k2motor.com for this product. thanks =]

  • thanks , now i can install my new headlight

  • Bought some HID halo projector lights from these guys and when i got em the wires for the turn signal were freaking backwards..brand new 300 dollar lights and i have to spend 2 hours cutting wires and fixing the fucking thing, i have never heard of or experienced anything like this before....very disappointing i didn't see specdtuning as cheap

  • @SuperRomanianguy how were your wires backwards?

we are very sorry about your experience with us, we will look into this product for further inspection.. thank you for your comment.

  • i bought the same product as what you have here in this video, Im just wondering what happened to the red and black wire when you connect the sockets for the lights but u didnt show on where those red and black wires connect to? Need help asap!

  • @deadbone10 im assuming you are referring to the long black tube with the red and black wires correct? those are for the LED's that were on these headlights that we didnt show.. the video was only to show how to install your headlights on this model

  • I feel like I have the exact same headlights as you, but I have an extra red and black wire that I don't know what to connect to. I did everything in this video but only the signal lights would turn on. What do I connect those spare wires to and how exactly do I do it? I watched the other 'Halo and LED wiring installation' video, but the headlights you use in that video are completely different and I have no idea how to relate to it with my headlights.

  • I just needed this video on how to remove the bumper on a 2004 civic. Thanks!

  • i'm gonna switch to halo projector...but i have both hi and low beams H.I.Ded...my question is will the H.I.D bulb fit in the low beam halo projector socket?

  • What's the damn background music?! I want it so bad!

  • @JayDestiny1 Wish i could tell ya :( shoot i cant even hear the music... no speakers. If I ever figure out i'll update you!

  • @JayDestiny1

    Robert Miles - Children (TECHNO)

  • your video made me very confident to switch to a halo projector headlight so thank you for that. just one minor problem. I was able to hook up everything except the low beam and high beam won't turn on. tried some test with stock bulbs and they're running fine so im assuming the socket plug was the problem??? for both headlights hi and lo. how to do a troubleshoot to determine w/c one's are damage?

  • @polotrigger btw the stock bulbs had der own socket plug and they're running fine

  • @polotrigger Glad to hear you found this video helpful! Do stop In again to check out or installation videos!

  • thank you so much, this video helped me a lot. I had to change fog lamps and didn't know how to reach that place. It worked as a treat.

One thing about your projector headlight, can i plug HID bulb in this projector headlamp? Im really interested in going for HID but don't want to blind the public too much. a little would be OK.

  • @teaser2233 Correct, you can use HIDs for these headlights, however, you have to make sure you get the correct bulbs because they are not the same application as stock. Because they are projectors, the HID will not scatter like regular headlamps are. so you should be okay at a median kelvin. Good luck

  • @Specdtuninginfo thanks for the information. Can you please tell me what kind of HID kit one has to use for this projector headlight e.g HB3/HB4 or something else.

And another thing, on k2motor.com i don't find 04-05 civic models? on your website there is no pricing/buying option so where should i look for?

  • @teaser2233 Thank you so much for checking and pointing out that it was missing, we just haven't had the chance to change the 01-03 to 01-05 because all the models are the same. and for the HID; sorry, we cannot say the application of the bulb because we do not sell HIDs.Thank you again so much and good luck.

  • This is excellent. I just bought headlight assembly's for my 2003 Honda Civic Ex and I was about to have a mechanic put them on but this video just took the mystery out of it.

  • @dapdaddy10 Thanks so much for your comments, glad we could help. Plus, you get the pride and enjoyment of having it installed with your own hand makes it that much greater - priceless. Thanks again.

  • WHY WONT MY BLINKER SHUT OFF?!!!!!

  • @BLAZE45 If you bought projector headlights and tried to wire the Halo and LED to your blinkers. You should go back in and reconnect them to the parking lights instead. The Halo and LEDs were not meant for the signal lights. However, if this is a general question, its beyond me. Thanks and good luck.

  • @Specdtuninginfo I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PARKING LIGHTS ARE BUT I HAVE THEM WIRED TO THE BLINKERS AND THEY WORK JUST FINE I JUST HAD TO USE MY OWN BULBS

  • @BLAZE45 Cool, Im glad that it all worked out for you. Thanks again.

  • omg those headlights are freaken hot

  • i got the same lights but the halos arent lightenin up for some reason where do i have to wire the black and red wire to it

  • @thehahnman05 Our Halo and LED will help you quite a bit. However, the red (power) and black (ground) should be hooked up to the parking lights so that the halo rings will light up when the parking lights are on. let me know if this helped. Thank you

  • @Specdtuninginfo so do i wire up the red and black from the halos together to the parkin light and what color are the parkin light wires

  • @todeyuso Thanks, it makes it that much more fun to change out the lights.

  • Nice video, I can't wait to install my head lights and my civic is white like the one in the video, the result is sick!

    Thanks a lot.

  • @KadruH Thanks so much. I agree those are some nice lights for the civic. The great thing is that the lights are state of the art.

  • This video was awesome. I bought some new lights and your video made it so easy to change them,

  • @leonardmike03 Thank you so much for the comments, I'm sure there was a great feeling of accomplishment after it was installed. I had that! thanks again

  • Great DIY! you couldnt make it easir

  • do they still sell these at k2motors? didnt see them

  • yo dudes my civic halos arent lighting up i dont understand y

  • You can check a few things. Make sure that there are no loose and dangling wires. Second make sure where your tapping the wires have power running through them (with power tester). There might also be a chase that the power ground and the wires are not switched up.

  • driver side light iz bit up ... i installed hids recently /// help ...

  • On the back there are a round metal screw that you can turn to adjust the lights. You can move that clockwise or counter clockwise to adjust the light beam. If you are still having questions about how to adjust it. Simply PM us with your email address so that we can take a picture and point it out for you.

  • how do we adjust da lyts ???

  • Thanks for this video, it really helped me out a lot, nice job!

  • @Dj42025 Thanks so much the comments; we look forward to bringing you more videos on different applications.
