i beat this the first time. the trick is to be calm like crazy. the only tricky part was setting the controller up LOL i managed to get it working when a little kid told me about it(this was during a party)

@Overhazard It's on the tv, in other words, right above it! And yes i've tried pointing at the screen, the sensorbar, the wii, nothing works! Same thing on the level where you suppose to stand on a ball with a star in it! You know, where you're suppose to aim the controller at the ceiling! Nothing happens, and when i pause the game, the little "hand" is right in the middle of the screen, so it's not a problem with the controller:P

Lugi runs faster than Mario.

Lugi jumps higher than Mario.

And also at FrezzeFlame Galaxy Lugi AND Mario with their UNBELIVABLE jumping abilites can clear a SOOOO LONG f*********king gap at Frosty Cosmic Mario/Luigi race.

i must aggre that Luigi's running is slightly better than Mario's.

1.Luigi's running is faster

2.Becasue Mario is braver,he runs diffrent in position like he's brave,but Luigi's running is AWESOME.

it isn't required.you can simply do a few other missions in Good Egg and Honeyhive.If not enough also do the optional galaxy in the dome or the one outside the dome.

These sort of ray-surfing things is my least favourite bits of the game. I had problems with the earlier galaxies with this sort of thing in it. Naturaly i was so relived when I managed somehow to pull the rabbit out of the hat and make it on the first try. I dont think I will return... no, beginners luck like that is precisely beginners luck like that.

It's not necessarily required to continue. You can do all the other missions (including Sweet Sweet Galaxy and Flipswitch) and still get enough.

when i do this, i pass it almost everytime but then when i get the gold star i go back to the room and go back to the loopdeloop galaxy and it still makes me do this level..... how am i supposed to get to the next level??????

@Boonefan101 You need to complete more missions, if you mean you want to unlock more galaxies.

As for this, this is the only mission in the Loopdeeloop Galaxy. If you've cleared it, you're done with it.

The easiest way to do this level is to take small steps and short jumps

there's no time limit, so you can go as slow as you want.

The "gold" is pretty much the only thing Coach gives you anyway. It's impossible to get a silver or anything below that, as long as you make it to the end.

The difference there is that in Mario Galaxy, you're pointing the Wii Remote at the screen, whereas in Mario Kart Wii, you're holding it sideways.

The ray is silent. What you're hearing is either the penguin noises or the "whoosh" sound effect.

I loved all of the water themed galaxies in SMG. But that's probably because I think that Sunshine was a slightly better game overall, and just love beaches and water in general.

The ray surfing levels were pretty hard when first trying them, especially the loopdeeswoop (I think that's what it was named) galaxy. But became an absolute blast to play over and over again once you learned how to surf the Ray's better.

It seemed to be something I picked up pretty easily, as I've never fallen off the Loopdeeswoop Galaxy. I think it's because I had been playing a lot of Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz and WarioWare: Smooth Moves.

This mission can get easy once you know how the controls work and you get the hang of it. I think that the Ray surfing level in the Trial Galaxie was probably the one I struggled most with. If you havent done it already, I request Sea Slide Galaxy, Faster than a Speeding Penquin (The penquin race)

Nope. Ray surfing as Luigi is exactly the same as it is with Mario.

I've done 85 mission out of 121. This, of course, doesn't include those I did as both Mario and Luigi.

There are still plenty I haven't done, but most of those are early game challenges people aren't too interested in once they've spent enough time with the game.

I think the Gold Leaf Galaxy remains the only major galaxy I've uploaded all of the missions for.
