Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) bless ayatAllah sistani, khamenei, fadlAllah and all who have reached idjtihad. They are our guides may they live a long life.
One could refer to his teaching courses in Beirut and Damascus, or to his jurisprudence books. But if you do not wish to do so, it does not make you either right or even pious. If proof needs evidence denial needs evidence too.
there are those who doubt the Sayyid`s qualifications claiming that he was not given the verbal authorization of his teachers, such as Sayyid Khoui and the other teachers. Nevertheless, being authorized by one's teachers is not the only way to become a religious authority, it could also be acquired by the ability to teach and defend one's ideas in front of others.

Its very hard to judge whos the most kowledgable Even if someone knows them personally, they most likely cant judge without bias because you cant know all the scholars personally. Thats why Sayid Fadlallah has the opinion that you can follow anybody who has earned the title of being a marja. Sayid Sistani and many others say you have to find the most knowledgableble by doing research and asking ahlul khibra. In Sayid Fadlallahs opinion its just not wajib.
In Shaikh Alsane3i's opinion its also not wajib; in Sayid Almar3ashi Alnajafi's (qds) opinion it isn't wajib; in Sayid 5omeini's (qds) opinion it isn't wajib and many others.. So Sayid Fadhlollah isn't alone in this fatwa my dear brother.
i am a new convert to the shia mathab alhamdulilah, my point is that it is best to follow the grand ayatollah of our time who is sayed sistani, there is no doubt that sayed fadlallah is a great alim but as i said it is best to follow the most knowledgable who is sayed sistani.salam

At the time of the Grand Ayatollah Syed Imam Al-Khoei and Syed Mohammed Baqir Al-Sadr and Syed Imam Al-Khomeini, those are three amazing alims, but who do we follow. Do all the people have to pick 'one' they feel is the alim of their time and reject the other 2? Thank you
Sayid Sistani is a great 'alim, but we have Khamena'i, Lankarani and many others, so there is no problem to follow one of them, cause all is maraje' and you can chose the one you think is the best. I think Fadhlallah is the best, you my brother think Sistani is the best and thats okay.

you really should read what fadlallah says about alzahra a.s.the historical issue he brought up was brought up by bigger names than him and than all of todays maraja like shaik al mofid and 3 or 4 very big scholers from our time and from the period right after the imam mahdi a.s. time fadlalla opnions are some times not liked not liked because they dont agree with the popular opnions. and every scholer of our time or the past that had unpopular opnions or un extreme opnions was alwys attack.

It is in one of Mulla Nazar Qatari's anasheed tapes. I dont know if it has a propa name, but its called 'dig ya galbi'
