I don't get what Jennifer was doing at 8:55-9:16. I understand you're having fun, excited, promoting a film, or whatever. But, there WAS a grieving family up there w/ her speaking about their late daughter/sister Selena. It's okay to be joyous or uplifting in a somber setting but..I don't know, I would've shown a little bit more respect. 98% of that segment, I'm sure, was about Selena, not her.

Wow a lot of fighting on here. LOL. The Selena movie did make Jennifer bigger faster than if she didnt make the movie. Critics agree. Jennifer made $1 million making her the highest paid Latina. I do agree if Selena had lived, Jennifer wouldnt be as big as she is now, atleast not as soon. Jennifer was mostly a background dancer in shows & videos. She didnt sing until AFTER Selena came out.
When Jennifer didnt go to the Selena tribute & only sent a video, I lost a ton of respect for her.

This is interesting. I think it would have been more appropriate for the interview to be conducted w/ just Selena's family and her husband. Parts of it was, in my opinion, almost disrespectful. The family and the world was mourning a great loss and comments are made regarding how beautiful JLo looked. She is beautiful, but some of the questions didn't seem fitting for the occassion. Thanks for posting it though. I had not seen it.

@000NeoBass000 selena did in fact receive a blood transfusion, they said they opened her chest and what ever blood they put in would come right back out. she lost too much blood already and they couldnt revive her. Theres videos of the emt talking about it. Selena crime scene was on vh1 nd explains it. The damage was too much to repair since the bullet hit a major artery.

But, there WAS a grieving family up there w/ her speaking about their late daughter/sister Selena. Jennifer is so tactless. Oprah didn't lead very well, but the interview should have, not been somber, but not a giggly cheerfest. Lopez could have brought up the challenge of playing someone so popular, well known and loved in her community and presented a more respectful front with Selena's family sitting right there. I know she may have thought that's what she was doing but . . . it wasn't. It was too much look at me, the movie star promoting a movie.
