But they sand the buttons off after you're completely done with treatment. And would you rather have a few small bumps or a metal bracket on each tooth?! lol you're supposed to wear them like 22 hours a day anyway so it shouldn't matter what your buttons look like with no tray in :P
I'm really hoping to get invisalign, but my insurance doesn't cover braces, if I were to pay it off how much would it be without any insurance help? /:
@EmelysNailArt Hi, I just go my Invisalign trays and itcame down to $7,200 for 11 months of treatment. They did say that any additional trays needed after would be free of charge, as the initial time frame for your treatment is supposed to yield the desired results. I guess that's one of the good things about it; I won't just be on my own if I or my ortho is unhappy with the progression. Since my insurance/HSA covered much of it, I ended up paying about $1,400 out of pocket. Hope that helps!
@PinkIce009 yes they do. Everytime you go in to get the next set of trays (i get 3 sets everytime i go in) they will remove the current buttons/attachments and put new ones on in a different spot. They dont damage your teeth at all either.
i have invaslign to and i agree with u but u will get used to it by the 3rd or 4th week but i got used to it by the 2nd week and it gets so easy to take it in or out by the 3rd week u won't even care even more haha
I know exact ly how you feel about the attachment..... I'm finally on #18 of 18 but it looks like they will need to order an extra set... you'll eventually get used to the attachment. but the closer you get to the end the worst pain for the first few days or so.. sometimes you may need a pain pill for the first day. I still dont regret my decision. I hate that I cant snack at work however I have Health wise it great that I dont snack so often.. Good luck!

They're made out of the same kind of material used to make tooth colored fillings :) thats what my orthodontist told me.

You are nice, but normally those buttons also show on the video you have to approve. Wondering why no one told you. Don't worry nevertheless.
