Love how Joe comes out in his 'shit kicker' boots. He's on an entirely different plane from the rest of the 'band'. Magic Dick, the drummer, and others can't hold it together at times - funny. Raw version of RMW, but cool. Tons of talent and touring experience leaves Joe heads above the others - you can sense it here. Magic Dick & Willie are exceptions. But Bon Jovi? Please. Even back then, he thought he was so special and deserving to be on stage. WTF is Vince Neil doing there?

I still have my ticket stub from Farm Aid ll. We drove all night to get there after getting off work. My 2 friends and I still remember that day. We slept in my 76 Grand Prix on the road as everyone else waiting for the gates to open. We ended up parking in a farmer’s field and walked 1 mile across his fields to the Manor Downs racetrack. The crowd was almost twice as large as expected.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that's Mickey Raphael, Willie's harp player. There's tons of obnoxious harp out there, but I wouldn't say this is an example of it at all. It's a solid jam-type performance(unrehearsed), and he didn't hog the spotlight or step on anyone..

The reason this sounds rough is because it's a typical benefit "jam" where they just get up and play with no rehersal. That's also when at times you get magic. This one maybe not so much magic. Joe doesn't sound drunk, he always sounds like that. It is also considerably faster then normal. I don't understand the people that say it's slow.
