I thank you for posting your comment, you are right, there were a few human ones, one I really liked, her name was Miss Williams, she was very nice. I hope I did this right I;m still pretty new with the computer, I just found all the Clydebank "stuff" and I'm so happy I see what changes have occured since I was last there, Thanks again
@weeGeorgiegirl If you like to follow up things about CHS then there is a really good website called oldchs and of course there is always Friendsreunited if you are not already set up for that.
I went there in the middle to late 50'sand I like it better now, than back then, I was scared of most of my teacheres, theyt were quite cruel back then what with the belt and all, (Ionly got it twice) but thats what I remember most vividly, thanks for the vids.
@weeGeorgiegirl I know what you mean about the teachers being scary although there were also a few human ones around when I was there. Glad you liked the video and I hope it gave you some happy memories too.
Thanx for doing this video. I went to CHS from 94 -2000. Luvd it. Couldnt get to the open day. Very sad that its goos. Have sum great memories and still have my great friends I made. Ta much. Colette McNeill .
It was certanly the best high school ever went to. Well it was the only high school I ever went to. Go to the top of the class and get a gold star for recognising who supplied the music. I see you are a big SAHB fan too.
God what a shock John Inglis! I was in his class from Primary School lol And Gordie Mcgregor, Ronnie Logan they were all in class with me .. Wish I could have seen the old school before it gets knocked down makes me sad .. Don't know why tho I hated the damned place ..looks like the same showers since I went there around 1968 .. well they were made to last
Hi Colin, good to hear from you and I hope the video did not cause too many nightmares. Still in touch with Gordon John (Was at his daughters wedding last month as was Mae Ingram). Still in touch with Alan Logan and Jim Moodie too. Met Christine Hall and Peter McLean at open day. Also Tosh has been in touch thanks to my photos of the school. Funny you mentioned the showers. They stank of urine on the open day. Wonder how that happened? - Ronnie L
Ronnie , ty for loading the video on it was good to see the school again , I was hopeing to get to see the school but I don't get up to Scotland often .
Was The pics of Gordie you and John taken this year god if it was I must have aged badly Y have u all got hair LOl :-( Thanks again it was really good to see the vid on here
Don't worry, I think the photos of the class of 74 were taken around 1996 so they are over 13 years old. The only current one was of me at the school open day. I think we have all either lost some hair and/or gone grey. And put on a bit of weight too.
the old building is a shit hole it needs to be knocked down, your lucky if you walk around without a slab from the ceilling falling on you for god sake but its had its good times
I really don't want the new school, I hate adapting to new surroundings.. ecspecially with new first years about that's the worst. Too many fun memories in that old building though. Shame to be see it going soon. :/

I left this school in winter 1988. The best thing I ever done. Glad to see it was ripped down.
