  • not harping on you man but when you misfired, you anticipated the recoil and when you do that, your accuracy is going to be way off. i had the same problem and my friend just gave me his .45 and told me to shoot it. i didnt know it wasnt loaded so i pulled the trigger and the amount a shook was horrible. just keep a tighter grip on the gun and pull slow and steady for accuracy, but you probably already knew that haha. get video though.

  • @jdeluisa you are not very smart when you fire a weapon and it goes "click" leave it alone because that round can still go off, so it is best to leave it in the pistol for at least 30sec so if it does go off it won't blow your hand to hell or hurt anyone as long as you keep it pointed in a safe direction

  • more like ammo misfire.

  • To all viewer's... I wouldn't recommend handeling a misfire the way this shooter handled his.

Ejecting a misfired round holding it in your hand and pointing it toward your face? Then inserting it back into the chamber is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen... If this guy was a cat he would have used up 8 lives. He's lucky not to have seriously injured or killed himself.

  • Very nice, thanks from information

  • leaning back, flinching, and putting your finger on the trigger guard. No, no, no.

  • Most glock malfunctions are usually weak and cheap ammo or a gun that has shot hundreds of rounds and never been cleaned. The glock will run dirty but who wants to rely on a gun caked in carbon... not me

  • he clearly has no clue on how to shoot... what a clown.. drop the mag clear the chamber & replace the mag.. cock then shoot...

  • he holds that thing like a goof

    \

  • it was clearly the bullet...the glock did its job.....take dat up wit the ammunition manufacturer

  • @MrXGAMES1000 Yeah, we're going to take weapon advice from a punk that says "dat".

  • Nice grip lol and safe shooter, no back stop and on a road that I'm sure others use .

money says he just left all his empty shells on ground !! What a dumb ass

  • @hk702 Actually it's not a road that others use. It's on a private ranch and God help your ass if I catch you out there fucking with my livestock!

  • @jdeluisa You could hold the pistol much more stable if you didnt put your finger on the front of the trigger guard. Your index finger should go under the guard and over your right hand/fingers. Not being a smartass or knowitall...but if you get into the habit of holding your weapon like that then it could cause problems if you ever had to use your weapon in a hurry...your left index could go inside the guard and slow you down...plus it is less stable to hold it that way.

  • @hk702 Yer a douche, shut up

  • @hk702 O NOES, some one might run over the lead that he put into the road!!! and empties on the ground...its going to kill...nothing! you must shoot guns ONLY at the range. hunting, i try to pick up my brass...becaue i reload them (putting more powder and a new primer and bullet in them..not sticking empties on my gun), but if im in a hurry, i leave my brass. and as long as you know that if your bullet went over the horizen, and nothing is their...its fine.

  • He is using ear protection what a sissy ; what did you say.

  • dear god this video is so boring!

  • nice grip. i really like the finger placement... and replacement.

  • Limp wrist, leaning back, lose grip, and that is a bad primer not the gun. Good vid other than that stuff.

  • Those wrists need some viagra, they are limp.

  • The Glock is not malfunctioning. The round was bad, not the gun. jdeluisa, your form needs work.

  • That 870 showed the refrigerator what's new!

  • your not holding the gun right ..

  • Bad hand position, terrible trigger control, anticipates the recoil. Sucky shooter.

  • "those glocks.. i heard they're comfortable to hold but once you start shooting its pretty bad"

You heard? That's the problem right there. People who don't actually have ANY experience with a firearm commenting about it. People and the things they hear...

I have a G19 and have owned and shot nearly every model currently made and have NEVER had any problem that wasn't due to ammunition or some bullshit aftermarket magazine.

My comment comes from direct personal *EXPERIENCE*.

  • @greenrefrigerator Actully, I have owned this generation 1 Glock for 19 years. It functions flawlessly - if there is a problem its always an ammo problem. In this case it was cheap white box Whinchester. I carry this pistol on my on my horses out in bumfuck. It gets dirt, water and mud in it. It fires. Always. Thanks for watching.

  • @jdeluisa THAT DAMN RIGHT!!! i have carry a GLOCK 17 GEN4 its my duty pistol its had over a 1000 rnds run through it not one problem lov it!!! TO HELL WITH ALL THEM GLOCK HATERS!!!!

  • CCI ammo?

  • +1 on bad title, not a Glock problem just bad ammo. You should hold your arms straight, get a proper grip with your support hand (thumb forward, don't put your finger on the trigger guard) and only let the trigger out to reset and then fire again. Don't let the trigger all the way out and take you finger off of it. You might also have better luck if the strong side thumb was pointing toward the target.

But hey! That's just my opinion. Worth all of $0.00.

  • those glocks.. i heard they're comfortable to hold but once you start shooting its pretty bad.

  • God I hate NM

  • dude, where is this? Desert looks awesome!

  • Obviously an ammo problem. The first primer strike appeared to be plenty hard (deep dimple in the primer). Not a problem with the firearm

  • IT WAS TH E ROUND

  • It's a dud not a misfire (the gun is not the problem the bullet is)

  • clearly a ammo problem with glock

  • @nazrex180 and yes I did pick up all my brass becaue I reload, but, I left the fucking fridge

  • You shoot like a girl.

  • @760mjh yea, and you are a dick because you don't have any video's posted and you talk shit about other people!

  • I remember my first high school dance. Way to let a FULL SIZED .40 beat your girly hands like a trailer park wife. Amateur. Flinch like a bitch too at 1:01 ! Misfire? Probably limp-wristing! Good grief, please stop doing videos.

  • @Jimmy46E hey jimmy, lets see how well your dumb ass can shoot if I put my video camera on your stupid ass while you pull the trigger. At least I have the balls to put up a video unlike you - afraid to put your money where your mouth is? Or is it that you just can'f afford a camera? Troll around much?

  • Thats Like A Denzel Washington Man On Fire Moment.

  • Whats a good starter gun!

  • @eduardoyanez54 Look for a quality 9mm. I like Glock, but I also like Springfield and Kel-Tec. Take the time to train. Take a course and get your concealed carry permit if you can. Thanks for watching.

  • I thoroughly enjoyed this video.

  • jiggly arms

  • @TheJamie123abc what the fuck do you care what I do?

  • Just some constructive criticism for you that i noticed: Im not much of a pistol shooter, i dont really care for them. But i do shoot rifles and this is one of the common things between them. I noticed that on your misfire, you jerked the trigger. (not sure if anyone else has pointed that out i dont wanna search all the comments) You looked pretty good before, just on that one round you jerked it pretty bad.

  • @jdeluisa i like your follow thru and im not trying to tell you how to shoot but when that round didnt fire it looked as if you were expecting it to and you tilted your muzzle down so if you're at a range and you seem to be hitting low, its bc of your jerking movement also with your follow thru, try not to take ur finger off the trigger and you can get a better group

i was just observing... not trying to be a negative nancy at all.. just some shooter advice is all

  • @nazrex180 pistol rounds have a low effective range. the rounds probably hit the ground way before they hit anything else and im sure he was probably on private property

  • @carnage2009 Down the road? On a private ranch with at least a good ten miles to the nearest house, car, cow, bla bla bla. Glad all you arm chair range safety officers are out there protecting all the innocent trespessers and wild life.

  • dude u do not just take the ammo out like that after a misfire because it can fire then

  • i shot some double tap ammo out of my s&w 380 and it ignited the primer but the round go logded in the barrel. come to find out the gun just need to be cleaned. you must have gotten a bad round cause ive never saw a glock do that before. ive shot many and know alot of people who are "hardcore" glock fans and they havent had a jam or anything go wrong with theirs. guess it just depends on the gun and ammo. cause i know glocks are good when they havent been cleaned they'll shoot

  • Primer struck with a deep dent=bad ammo is most probably the problem.

  • Thank you SO much for bending down at 1:10, it allowed me to take a screenshot and set a new wallpaper. Beautiful landscape ;)

  • thats why i shoot hk great shoutgunt i have a remington 870 tactical with rail and light and hi vi sight very accurate even with 18 inch barrel

  • On the range.....You must keep the gun pointed down range for10 seconds for the shell to be safe....Could have blown up in his face when he looked at it...wow.....

  • When you shoot, lean forward, your rocking back on your heels and if you start to shoot 3 guns like my dad an me, whose in special forces, leaning forward is vital. and your finger that holds outside front of the trigger guard should be wrapped around your right hand, just some friendly advice(:

  • I will never own a Glock, I've seen several have firing pin problems on the range, dunno if it was a faulty firing pin or not, the guy was trying to complete his qualification with the a Glock and on the second string of fire the firing pin broke, luckly he had another gun with him (a revolver) to at least keep his qual good until the following qual day.

  • @Shinigamiusmc Wow you had a lemon of a pistol. My brother has a Glock 21SF.45 ACP and that pistol has fired over 1200 rounds having never been cleaned (pistol test) and never jammed or misfired.

  • ur stance is wack a lack bro. you got the lean back working, and a revolver grip on a semi auto, your ready for the end of the world. except for firearms training ur set.

  • you shoot like a stupid dick and your ammo is shitty

  • @tygrd Hey everybody, check out this guy's really cool channel! None of his video's suck and he is totally badass!

  • @jdeluisa lol yeah that dude is a total fag

  • @tygrd hahahaha kid your pathetic nerf needle gun!!!! hahaha trying to tell someone with a real gun and experience what to do...

  • @tygrd your wack ass is a wanna be rapper with shitty lyrics. Go be a hater on your own page .

  • @tygrd I CAN RIDE 4WHEEL I SO SPECIAL

go fuck yourself you idiot, and dont make fun of people that could kill you.

  • @tygrd yelous?

  • glocks have amazing durability, i found a video of a dude who buried a glock for 2 years then him in his freinds shot off 500 rounds without a jam

  • correct me if im wrong, i wana be sure:

    Hangfire: Delayed firing

    Misfire: No fire

i think there was one more

  • Is that the Sandia mountains in the background?

  • it was the ammo, not the gun because there was still a good dent in the primer.

  • Comment removed

  • @LoudNoises2011 actually it was the round that misfired

  • ummm, thats not a glock malfunction, it's bad ammo. DUD...

  • In all fairness...whatever the problem may be and weather or not you knew what to do....i want to really stress for youtubers out there....when you have a misfire you WAIT. Please please i dont want to see anyone hurt because they watched a youtube vid where someone picked up a potentially live round with a struck primer. If you have to eject after you wait then hopefully your at a range with a dud can. Much respect bro keep shooting safe!

  • boom rite inda hand

  • glocks are crap there rattly and clankity pieces of crap. kimber and sig is where its at.

  • Might want to wait for 30 seconds after it didn't fire. You looked right at a bullet that had a primer hit.. Do you realize it could have went off?

  • you jerked. work on trigger control

  • ammo misfire glocks do not misfire... change the title!

  • @natesportsman - i have personally seen a glock misfire. misfire to the tune of exploding on a guy a few tables from me, using brand new winchester whitebox, and nearly severing his finger. glocks do misfire, as any gun can misfire. and the unsupported chamber of .40 glocks have a reputation for going kaboom. don't be a moron. it was not made by jesus, and it is not a sacred cow.

  • @AlienZygote010 thats really funny Id like to see a hangun made by Jesus lol

  • @natesportsman - a perfect example of your perfect, immaculate, flawless glock: watch?v=rTGpeURxxQs. it blew up in someone's hand, just like the case I witnessed.

  • @AlienZygote010 It was the ammo. A weapon's durability and reliabilty don't mean a thing if the ammo is bad.

  • @natesportsman Glocks do misfire. I went to the range a few weeks ago with a buddy and we decided to rend a Glock 19 in addition to the 1911 we had with us.

Idon't know exactly how many rounds have been fired through it, but it did misfeed once. And it's not my grip or trigger control that caused the problem. I've been shooting Glocks since my dad first took me shooting as a kid.

  • What video edit program did you use.Nice vids mate. All the best

  • Just a side-note, when you fire always keep that trigger tight and gradually let it off until you hear the click :) it's a lot more accurate and a lot safer, because you know the point at which it will fire.

    Happy shooting :)

  • That was a bumb primer not a glock misfire...

  • That is not a Glock problem, thats a round problem. Glock did it's part, round didn't. BTW....wierd grip dude....

  • nothing shows flinching like a dead round! lol. I like your 870.

  • I can tell that you dont shoot very much. And if you do shoot a lot then you were taught wrong. Especially the Glock, you release the trigger fully and dont use the seer, which is why your shots werent on target and that explains why your not consistent with your patterns. Your shot flinch was more than my girlfriend on the 870. nice shooting....

  • way to shoot down the road

  • @colefoxx Huh? Im on private property and there is nothing to hit for 15 miles.

  • @jdeluisa yeah nothing around except for your face that couldve been destroyed by that bullet..

  • flinch if i have ever seen one quit pulling the trigger like its gunna blow up .. o wait it might its a glock

  • flinch if i have ever seen one quit pulling the trigger like its gunna blow up .. o wait it might its a glock

  • flinch if i have ever seen one quit pulling the trigger like its gunna blow up .. o wait it might its a glock

  • flinch if i have ever seen one quit pulling the trigger like its gunna blow up .. o wait it might its a glock

  • I have to agree with the tap and rack, even though I have a Taurus 24/7 with the multi strike, I have never had amisfire go off on the second strike. I can remember this happening 3 times. Love the 870, I would like to put a Knoxx stock on one. I do however question your choice of targets.

  • anything can fail to put the bullet out the barrel, even an ak, sometimes the round just is a dud, just like if you by high quality fire crackers their not guaranteed to always go off

  • FLINCH

  • need help on grip recoil control and trigger manipulation

  • This video has some excellent shotgun impact footage! Thumbs UP! Although, I didn't really get anything out of the bad primer scene that this upload is mysteriously named after.

  • wow that is very bad trigger anticipation at 1:04

  • Nice guns, but you may want to stop putting your left pointer finger on the trigger guard and also try the nose over toes with straight arms technique. Just saying that cause youll get better support through your bones then you will holding like you are with your muscles.

  • that goes for all the people that say they won't use glocks because they don't have a multi strike capability. It doesn't matter what gun that round was in that primer was not going to go off. It all comes down to training, when you have a misfire you tap and rack every time. Don't waste your time trying to get that round to fire. When you get a primer that fails to fire like that one did don't hold it in your hand because that primer could ignite several seconds later, leave it on the ground.

  • @the8jrfan Hey, thanks for the feedback. I know, I should have left in on the ground, however, I did want to show that multi strike doesn't make any difference if the round won't fire. I checked out your channel, nice job!

  • @jdeluisa Thanks dude I try to be as big a spokesperson I can for the NRA. Ya man I was just concerned about you I don't want you to blow your finger off with a snapped primer. I have a lot of shooting experience and personally I have never seen a snapped primer blow after its been ejected but I don't want you to take a chance. Awesome video, post some more!
