@videovader101 yea ive only had my tpx for a few weeks so forgive me if im wrong, but theres nothing holding the ball in the breach so it will fall out the bottom
May seem stupid, but I'm getting one of these and I want to absorb as much info as I can, but when you reload before using all 8, do the other two just fall out???
Why dont you just keep track of how many rounds you have in your mag and just fire them ALL off? Just like shooters do with a real gun man. Count your shots, Know how much amo you have, and it wont be a problem...
so it's not the retention gate, but the slider spring at the bottom of the mag that pushes that second ball into the breach. could you not thumb down the slider as you take out the mag, or is it not possible to get to it until it's out of the handle?
normaly reloading when empty is best of course. but i would see how wanting to reload to a full clip from a near empty or empty with one in the breach would be ok in a hurry. unelss tippmann fixes it best bet is only reaload on empty
If you are making a push at a bunker or building it's best to have a full mag. Nothing worse then getting 1/2 way to your objective and be out of paint :D
You can get a good 3 clips (24 shots) from a 12 gram. You can also purchase and adapter then allows you to run a remote line to the back of the marker. With a remote and a 3.5 oz Co2 tank your looking at a few hundred shots (more shots then most will have clips)
Good explanation

Wouldn't you really only lose 1 ball? cause the one in the breach can be fired, can't it? I don't own a TPX so I wouldn't know.

I curious. Wouldnt the balls in the breach be shot out before you eject the mag?
