  • Lousy bitch.

  • @berlintreaty really.. reallllly...

  • hollie deserved to make the olympic team, way more than carly did (shoot me if you like, but she's the most unartistic gymnast i've ever seen), and courtney kupets (also horribly unartistic). hollie is so beautiful to watch, and how do you not take BOTH or at least one of the reigning bars champions to the olympics???

  • @96horseluvr Hollie had a back injury and was struggling with gym changes, Chellsie had an broken metatarsal.

  • i feel like mentally the sport was too hard for her and she couldnt handle it

  • look at her he ws soooo good at gymnastics!! now shes half naked modeling -___-

  • what was way over 30 seconds that he was talking about in the beginning???

  • @TheMakerUpper They gave her the go signal to start already and you have to start within 30 seconds after the go signal. She didn't have her number, so they tried looking for it because you get an instant deduction without it. In the end, they got a piece of paper and wrote her number instead. It took more than the allowed 30 seconds, and she was supposed to be disqualified. What's funny: the deduction for a fall is more than the deduction without a number.

  • @goodyougetastar Is that what they were talking about at the beginning? Gosh she must have been rattled by that.

  • @gymnasticsloverxoxo Yes that's what they were saying at the beginning. It really was just a careless mistake because these elite gymnasts have been competing for YEARS. It's quite hard to believe that a gymnast of Vise's caliber or even her coach forgot such a minor thing. Weird, and yes, rattling. But hey, USA won in the end anyway. :)

  • How come the number on her back is in marker??

  • @houndscheer1996 because she didn't have one so they had to stitch it on just before she started

  • That's what happens when you are an American gymnast , your parents is kissing your ass and so does the coach. You should go and see how those Russian and Romanian girls are training, hardcore.. their coach don't kiss their asses.they push them to the limits..and that is why they succeed ....also I believe Eastern European mentality helps a lot..

  • @EuropeanGuy87 You can keep your "Eastern European" training and mentality. It's blatant child abuse.

  • @kayper54 First of all I am not Eastern European.. I'm Swedish.. second I was talking based on gymnastic skills..besides take a look at child abuse statistics..Eastern Europe has a lot less than U.S and Western Europe.. moron

  • @EuropeanGuy87 Oh, your name-calling is so predictable. I had only to wonder which one you would use. I don't care what you are first, second or third; YOU were the one who made the bonehead comment that the "Eastern European" mentality had to do with their success. Yet the stories of abuse of young athletes pour out of those countries like Niagra Falls (look it up.) Whatever statistics of child abuse you found by country is utterly irrelevant. They've made child abuse in their countries legal.

  • @kayper54

Comments like this make me sad to be American.

  • He could have seriously hurt her if he caught her. He knows what he's doing.

  • @RachelB887 while you stand there you can way better see whats gonna happen.

  • Great spotting coach..

  • It looks like her coach knew she was gonna fall; his arm was out while she was releasing.

  • her spotter did a great job with catching her.

  • @MrHappymonkeyfish Most of the time the spotters aren't supposed to catch the gymnasts. If she falls too fast, catching her would break her back.

  • i liked her so much better than carly

  • I thought this was at Olympic trials and not Worlds!

  • Nope Worlds.

  • That is like the worst feeling, falling off bars, cause then you are like crying through your whole routine. So you can't concentrate. Also that totally sucks for her, like i mean it sucks for any gymnast but, she is an amazing gymnast and has like such pretty flexiblity and everything. ): poor Hollie. ):

  • I don't hear anyone whining about the Australian judge during this competition when they should have deducted the US and didn't. My heart breaks for Hollie here. The pressure she was under after her coach didn't do his job and make sure she had her number was unfair.

  • I don't think the number was really the coaches fault. I have the article from USA Gymnastics in 2003, where she was saying she hadn't had her number pinned because she decided to let the people competing on vault go first. And then she just forgot, and couldn't find it, even after throwing out all of the stuff out of her bag. So finally they just found a piece of paper and wrote her numbers on it.

  • It is teh coaches job to make sure she has it. IMO

  • Hollie = extreme flexibility

  • how did she loose her number

  • This is when she lost her number. :(

  • I'd love to see Nastia do that mount. Imagine what her back arch might look like...

  • She's such a beautiful gymnast and one of the very few polished and elegant American ones. It's a pity she quit so soon!

  • She didn't quit. Now she does college gymnastics, I think!

  • yeah, this was certaintly a tough routine for her but she came back like a champion on beam, good for her!!

  • I love hollie vise and she is a very good gymnast
