  • This is a very good video. Hearing guys within the industry pour shit on the "internet fans" (or "smart fans") is annoying by itself. But it's even more annoying when these same "internet fans" internalise these criticisms and start "admitting" that "we don't know shit" or whatever.

  • Good job. Take a break and drink some alcohol. haha

  • Didn't Jim Cornette start the ratings system?

  • Right before Crockett sold to Turner would make it the year of 1988, and even by then JCP was still good stuff. It was declining, no doubt.. but still nowhere near 'terrible'. WCW's first year in existence (1989) was one of their very best ever!

  • I HUGELY disagree with that JCP and early WCW were "just there". The Crockett years of '85-'88 were mostly AWESOME!! WCW from 1989-1995/'96 (before becoming REALLy HUGE) was often times better than the WWF from a purely overall product standpoint. Not as successful, obviously, but still quality stuff.

  • I am trying to remember what I said in this video, but I think i was talking about right before JCP sold to turner..I guess I should watch the video again.

  • u suck dude, quit

  • Thank you for this rant

  • Lol freddie prince jr???? is a writer for wwe???? wow

  • you definatly deserve a job of some sort in wrestling

  • i figured WWE would rather no names over know indy talent because maybe they don't have to pay them as much.

  • Freddie Blows

  • Disco Inferno has always struck me as an idiot, since the WCW days. Now I see he wasn't just acting.

  • 1:13 lol wat the fuck

  • I agree 100%. i have nothin much to say coz you said it all. As for Disco Inferno, the only reason i remember him is because of Halloween Havoc 97.

  • 7:50-7:53...what the f*cK was that!? HAHAHAHA!!!

  • 1 thing that i was ill say is the wrestling needs to try and get back

  • great rant TS agreed on many things

  • who the hell is disco infernal? Danielson definetly deserves to be in the spotlight somewhere, doesnt matter, either TNA or WWE.

  • thats half hour of my life ill never get back

  • Then why the hell did you watch all of it then? God, if the first few seconds were bad, just click the "back" button.

    Oye.

  • i didnt really watch it i was just sayin its too long for a shit video of some shit fan who thinks he knows everything. some of you on here really need to get a life

  • fuck 31 minutes

  • great video,

I've watched some you tube internet fans who talk absolute nonsense, such as bill1985 for one example.

But you really know your stuff, been watching since about wrestlemania.

Disco inferno is an idiot, he has as much knowledge about the sport as buff bagwell!

You are right, wrestling promoters should listen to their fans on the internet a hell of a lot more!

  • Disco inferno loves cocks in his ass

  • If I believed in god I would say, amen.

  • GREAT COMMENT!!!

  • I sense sarcasm....

  • 7:49....What was that lol.

  • this is a fucking long clip!

  • pops are pops lol

  • Ok this goes out to the fucking haters of wrestling. Why do you waste your time searching and watching the vids only to write that it is fake(which we all already knew)and is gay(which is wrong). Quit wasting our time and space with your dumb ass comments. God Damn you people piss me off. I dont care that you hate wrestling. I think you deserve your opinion. But stop wasting my and everyone elses time with the same dumb fucking ass comments. Thank you and have a nice fucking day.

  • Yeah. The so called "fans" bash the products enough for everybody! We don't need any outsiders getting in on it!

  • Absolutely agreed! Wrestling's fake. NO FUCKING SHIT! Yeah there are a lot of idiots that come on here and waste not only our time but there's as well. So it's fake & scripted so are TV Shows & movies yet you don't hear anybody bitching and moaning about it being fake or more moronic "Gay". Stuipid assholes, I swear!

  • I love your spaz attack at 7:53 XD

    Great Vid, 5 stars

  • Dude no1 gives a fuck what you think. If you think its gay fine. thats your wrong fucking opinion. But why do you waste your time searching and watching these videos and commenting on them. Oh by the way we all know it is fake but we watch it because its entertaing.

  • Very good video (stands up and claps)

  • I think that the goal of a mainstream wrestling promotion is to please everyone where as the indy promotions goal is to please the wrestling fan. I also see the mainstream promotion as a jack of all trades but a master of none.

  • Triple H went to smackdown so he could be with his wife and kids more because the smackdown schedule would allow him to see them. Apparently he knew he was being drafted months before it happened. Sounds familiar doesn't it?

  • where did you hear this? Its been reported by most people that he didn't know untill right before.

  • I had read somewhere on a newsboard that he knew about it long beforehand.

I wouldn't be surprsied. I mean hell he sits in the creative meetings. The switch was almost definately his idea.

  • time to bury his ass again. ain't that right Tslay1972

  • You're calling him a nerd and a fag, yet you have the name Tslay1972. Something here just doesn't add up.

  • This one before you is TSlay1974... the other is an imposter named TSlay1972. Only by a difference of one digit... is different.

  • I know, What I meant was, he talks all this shit about Truth Slayer, yet he named his account after him.

  • people like him... even RFFS, or Burial Bury... only wants views... but the means for such is that they don't care for much 'cept themselves.

  • why don't you go play with some gasoline and an open flame.

  • you know since you said that the business does change these top guys who are changing it should know if this change in wrestling is good or bad. Let me ask you a question you think the wwe/wwf is better today or ten years ago?

  • great video bro WOW if a wrestling agent doesnt know who bryan danielson is its his job to aquire talent isnt it? baffles me

  • Good ass video worth every minute maybe we all shouldve did this but were to lazy to but hey nice job ass always

  • I wonder if Disco realizes that TNA employs 2 of the guys on youtube.

  • who

  • You said or did say you join wrestling forums, to chat and talk about wrestling. And most of them have "Be The Booker" or a different name to it were you create, and wright your own shows. You don't know how many internet wrestling fans would mark out, to see you right shows. From WWE, to Japan, anything and you could wright it.

  • nice vid truthmaster!

    i got to 25 minutes!

  • amazing video man. i agree with u 100%

  • Bryan Danielson is probobly along with Joe, the only wrestler I currently care about...

    WAR DANIELSON!

  • Miek Quackenbush > Samoa Joe

  • I LOVE it! There was nothing more annoying then an entertainer (because let's face it, that's what wrestlers, and indeed most professional athletes, are) discounting my opinion on what is actually entertaining.

Plus, it ran down that shit head Glenn Gil-suckcock, which automatically makes it awesome. I still don't understand how someone who at his best was insignificant to the world of wrestling was given essentially a job in finding out who's worthwhile in a 'major' wrestling company...

  • most professional athlethes are not entertainers, what a ridiculous thing to say. They are sports man. Their profession is a legit sport and they are in the top level of that. They are not entertainers.

  • Oh, look at the silly person in denial!!! So cute.

You think for FIVE SECONDS that if people didn't find baseball, football, American football, basketball, and fuck even GOLF(?!) entertaining to watch that they'd get TV deals, multi-million dollar contracts, and big deals made out of them?

Now, maybe what we find entertaining is the 'pure sport' that you were talking about, but the key word is ENTERTAINING! They're glorified entertainers, skills and athleticism be damned.

  • fantastic vid tslayer

  • Oh an in defense of Freddie.

I say wait and see what happens. If the product somehow takes a gigantic nose dive in quality, then there is a problem. But at the end of the day, Vince McMahon has final say on EVERYTHING that gets put on his product, good or bad, so I don't having Freddie there will make much of a difference one way or the other.

If anything, its a plus because it raises eyebrows and catches interest.

  • Dude...all the things you said is the truth.

  • go suck bill and gougs dick you tna mark

  • The guy knows jack shit. I'll tell you hisattitude. "If you aren't on television, then you have to wrestle perfect until you are". And this doesn't pertain to your video other thna it being Disco Inferno, himself. The guy came down to FPWA and through my match, Pretty Fly's match, Maxwell's match, Carnage's match AND Son of Sycaly's match with Jack Evan's(which was really good) and he ripped on all of us. Kay we're a bunch of guys from the Fl indies plus Evans. Lay the fuck off, dude.

  • Disco obviously feels threatened over the possibility of losing his job. Excellent rant.

  • jim cornette started the * ratting

  • Freddie Prinze Jr.? What's next? Lindsay Lohan? I heard George W. Bush will soon be looking for a new job, so there is always the WWE.

  • there is no way Vince would do it.... oh good goddess... No Vince!

  • U were spot on about telling a good story in wrestling, Bret Hart Bulldog was a great match because it was telling a great story, TNA need to get more indy talent becuase I am sick of arguing about TNA being a ex-wwe talent roster when it isn't

  • PAWPS ARE PAWPS! PAWPS ARE PAWPS!

    ;)

  • OK if the star system is crap what other system would you use?

  • why use a system at all? Can't you just say, "I liked this match" or "I didn't like this match" or "This match was fucking amazing" or "This match was one of the worst I've ever seen"

  • And if you'd have watched the video (which I doubt you did), you'd have heard him say that the only reason he does stars is because his subscribers wanted him to. He used to do just what you suggested but the people who watched his videos wanted a basis of comparison.

  • yeah but what I'm saying is why do you need stars to compare matches.

I mean can't I just say for example: "The Main event to WMXX was awesome. I would rank that one up there among the greatest matches in Mania history such as Shawn/Razor, Hogan/Warrior, Austin/Bret ETC."

My problem with stars is that its very hard to hold all matches by the same grading standard because all matches are different & there are various styles & ways to do a match.

  • Did you even read Cuda's comment?

  • well I'm not specifically talking about Tslay specifically, but in general its just weird to me to see people arguing over if a match should be 4* or 4 1/2*. Who gives a fuck?

I read his comment and it still doesn't make me understand the appeal of using stars. I mean my God, enough people messaged Tslay and asked him to use it? I just don't understand the point.

  • Obi Wan Kenobi quote: "Who is the bigger fool. The fool or the fool who follows him"

You can all talk about how bad WWE & TNA are, but it really doesn't matter what they do or what they put on their TV. Most of you are going to spend your money and watch them any way, and I honestly think some watch it just for the purpose of finding something to complain about.

  • I think I got a clue what you're saying. For example the fans saying Stone Cold Shark Boy sucks and has a bad gimmick but his merchandise sales

On the other hand fans saying Shelton Benjamin can draw and is good but people don't listen to us because we have never been in the buisness so we don't know what we are doing.

I could be wrong but I think that's the message, long as hell though

  • are u serious?!!! Freddie Prince Jr? A Writer for WWE? Hell's freezing over as we speak!

  • WATCH THIS VIDEO....

  • great vid

  • great vid truthslayer, it does bug me aswell how these promoters look down their noses at us fans and say we know jack squat about wrestling. how do they know that??? if they took the time to think about what we are saying then they wud realise that what we says makes us knowledgable of the current status of wrestling, just cause they have the job of wrestling promoter doesn't mean they have a good knowledge of wresting just suitable for that postition

  • Awesome vid. I just watched all 30 minutes of it. I need to have less free time.

  • Video of the Year.

  • TSlay "this guy" Disco Inferno's name is Glenn Gilberti...and Disco is dead LOL

  • Now I cannot wait until Gilbertti responds via his weekly excuse for a column...He will probably nitpick your video and pick out the stuff that only someone who has worked in the business would know about and ignore that 99.9% of what you stated in this video was spot on.

  • great vid.

and i think that it might be good to point out that glenn gilberti's last TV match was a loss in a squash mtach to Abyss

  • Wow, I thought this would be way too long, but those were 30 minutes well spent. Great vid!

  • It's because of old school thinking that WCW went under

  • damn i listned to the hole thing ( that means good job

  • lol great vid, disco has no brain

  • T-Slayer, your points were right on.

  • Awesome video, you pretty much covered everything that needed to be said by the fans. I have been a wrestling fan since the late 90s and I will continue to watch because like yourself, I am a big wrestling fan and I applaud anyone that comes on here to speak their minds about the business. I feel we have every right to speak what's right and what's wrong with the way things are in any organization. It doesn't necessarily mean that we hate the product as a whole, we just want it to get better.

  • wow man i prolly agree on 90% of the video

31 minute video though wow you covered alot

  • fantastic vid!

  • The thirty minute time had me worried, but this was a pretty good video.

IMO its a case like back in Elementary School, when you had a sub teacher. The regular teacher said if one kid is bad for the sub the whole class would stay in for recess. You had to shut up the naughty kid as best as you could, but he'd still get in trouble and you'd all get the punishment.

The minority of people on here who talk crap ruin the credibility of people who get the business as reliable critics.

  • wow i only have one 1 word to say about this video

    favourited

  • Awesome vid I agree with everything.

What I don't get is, for example, why the HELL is The Great Khali in the main event at SummerSlam? Either there's a large number of fans that want to see that or the WWE is ignoring us. The fans don't boo him because he's a heel, they boo him because he's shit. Would it really have hurt business to have had HHH vs Jeff Hardy and had a run-in or something so it didn't hurt either guy?

  • Judging by your name you're not to be taken seriously.

  • you're the queer, queer! Get a life

  • Phwar 31 minutes! I'll go and get a drink before I sink my teeth into this.

  • hold on what did jim crockett jr have to do with wcw when it started i though he was elected as head of the nwa after he sold it too turner i actually liked early wcw just aslong as ole anderson or dusty rhodes wasnt booking it i mean robocop with sting wtf is that

  • I was just throwing them into gather as one company even though I know they where two In most peoples mind they still see them as one.

  • This might sound dumb, but at least WWE actually hired somebody who is a fan of the show. WWE has hired so many people who know nothing about wrestling and don't even like it. So at least Freddie is a long time fan. Hell, maybe he'll do some good stuff. If not, then he needs to get his wife out there !

  • Actualy I agree with you. At least he is a fan and being a fan he might be able to get guys to do what fans, even if its just casual fans, want to see.

  • I'm in agreement about Freddie Jr. Because he is a life long fan like many of us, maybe he can give McMahon and those in creative input on what they want. I love how people bashed WWE for bring in a celebrity to be in the creative team, but as long as he stays behind the scenes and WWE doesn't have him wrestle or put a title on him, then I see no problem with giving him a shot. I mean he can't do any worse than Russo and Mantell at this point.

  • Thank god you got that partnership (or whatever the fuck it was) man. 31 minutes of TSlay is a great way to start the day. Great vid.

  • indy shows are actually good?????????????????

  • Disco is a tool. He's just a hired kiss ass on TNA's payroll. Where does he have room to criticize Danielson? He can only dream of ever being as great a wrestler as Bryan Danielson.

  • steve austin actually said in an interview that he watches these shooters on youtube

  • Disco Fever.

  • yeah yeah yeah yeah

  • your rite man, the product is meant for us (fans in general) if we can't judge it, who can?

  • Damn Tslay, 31 minutes? You might aswell have your own TV show. "Slaying the Truth with Truthslayer!"

  • They have to see that the wrestling fans want the business to thrive and continue on for years to come. So no one's going against them, just pointing out flaws which they should capitolize on. They also half to see their like any other t.v. show. No one really wants to watch after a season/year of shows. Like truth slayer and the internet wrestling community you stay because they love it.not to mention the only reason they have money in their pockts is because of all of us.

  • Great video TSlay good on you standing up for the fan, you made a lot of great points. I have been watching since the late '89 and I think I have the right to criticize when I disagree with something considering I'm 21 that's a long time fan.

I love the 1-5 star rating system, I always disliked Disco and I think as a person/agent Glenn Gilberti appears to be a complete tool.

  • and ya. i really don't know how to take this video. i think you have a valid point with your argument, but at the same time I don't know why you're acting like jeff jarrett and vinnie mac themselfs are subscribed to your channel.

i really doubt anyone inside the wrestling business worth mentioning watches our videos and pays attention to our opinion.

they wrote off the smart fan decades ago. they only resort to us when they're in ratings trouble and need new ideas.

  • bryan danielson > disco the fairy.

  • Wow, finally someone from the Wrestling YOUTUBE committee spoke the damn truth. TSlay, u nailed a bullseye with this vid. I will say it too, I don't know the business as much as most of these people that speak their minds on here. I watch wrestling cause, like u, I am a Wrestling fan. I have been a fan close to 20 years now. It doesn't matter what organization it is. Thanks for speaking the truth.

  • Ill admit, I dont know shit about wrestling. But I do know that I started watching RAW again when I heard HHH was gone. I can also tell you if a match sucked. In fact, as a fan I am more qualified to say wheter a match was good or not, because I am the target of said match.

  • Even modern physics can be understood by reading a couple of books and solving some problems, you don't need to go into the lab and play here and there and blow somethings up and then make a theory and make history THEN people will say "oh you get it". If modern physics can be understood by "reading" then wrestling is no different.

We saw it long enough to what is a good match and what is a bad match, it is that simple!

    Good vid slayer.

  • great rant. agreed with most of your points, would love to see some ROH wrestlers coming into wwe to promote their style of wrestling. Seen some matches on the Fight Network and really like the style they use.

  • great video! agree with everything you said in it, it really irritates me and i hope people like hhh and disco watch this video lol

  • Most of the net fans feel the need to be critics and try to put themselves over as experts.

My question is, whatever happened to just watching wrestling for the sake of having fun? I mean seriously, its two guys in their underwear pretending to fight each other. Is it really worth getting so upset about?

I say just sit down, grab some beers & chips, watch the show, and if aren't liking it, change the channel or pop in a DVD of something you do like.

  • Here fucking here! You have just said exactly what has been on my mind for ages now!

  • that is not the point. The point is we have every right. To let the world know what we like and dislike. Other wise nothing changes and people go out of business. By changing the channel or putting in a dvd. You do the samething, you let people know. Hey this is not really all that interesting. Just look at Russo. He's been in the business for how long? Yet has pulled some of the stupidest moves ever. the man helped kill off a major promotion.

  • if you don't like it don't watch it.

Why would I sit there and spend two hours watching a show I don't like?

If you watch the show and then go on the net and talk about how bad it was, you still watched the show, which only helps which ever promotion it was that you watched.

  • Let's just stop at that first sentence: fans by their very nature are critics. End of story, no need to discuss it. When you sit down and take watch of something and come to a conclusion about it, whether you voice it out for others to hear or not, you are being a critic. You're coming to a decision on whether you liked or disliked that very item you just witnessed.

    FANS ARE CRITICS. DONE!

  • Yeah, but then if someone hated the show and critqued it to death, those same people turn right back around and watch it next week.

I have hated many movies in my life time. I could go on and on and on about how much I hated Superman Returns for example. However, I didn't go back into the threatet to go watch it, I didn't buy the DVD, and its going tot ake some major convincing for me to go see the sequel.

  • Now I realize wrestling is different. Wrestling is episodic television, so 1 episode isn't necessarily be all end all.

Lets say I watched ECW 1 week & didn't like it. OK fine. It happens. 2nd week. Still didn't like it, but it could get better. 3rd week, still not liking it. Before you know it, 6 months have passed & Im still watching a show that I don't like. All I've done is waste 2 hours of my week for six months & done nothing but bitch about how bad it is. Whats the point?

  • But what if you felt very passionate at one time about the product?...Only to later see how it's being flushed down the toilet...you wouldn't be a crtitic about the current content and try to help it change for the better?

  • The key word you used is "felt"

At one time, you "felt" passionate about the product, which implies that you don't anymore.

Would I still be dating a girl if I didn't love her anymore? Hell no.

The best criticism is to ignore it completely and do something else to pass the time! If fans stopped watching, the WWE would change things in a hearbeat. If TNA did something that drove half their audience away, they'd stop doing it.

  • Did you watch tlay's "HOPE" video? I highly recommend it...

  • I did. He talked about how much he like dTNA back in 2005. THREE YEARS AGO!!!

Acording to him things went downhill for him around the time they got onto SpikeTV. That's fine. It's his opinion, but after three years of "HOPE" and you still aren't enjoying the product, don't you think its time to give up?

  • hope:

    1. the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best

Yea it would be easy to give up and stop hoping for the best, but you should realize that certain people are really passionate about wrestling and will not stop watching, no matter what happens! Watch instantclassic's recent video series, if it is that easy for you to quit watching, then maybe you really didn't have a love for wrestling in the first place.

  • I hope for World Peace

I hope that one day I will have a loving family and be able to support them.

I hope that when I die, I go to heaven.

Now a wrestling product...is that really worth losing sleep over and getting all stressed out and upset over.

  • And by the way, I actually do enjoy watching wrestling!

I watch Raw & Impact every week and 9 times out 10, I walk away from the TV with a big ol' smile on my face.

Wrestling for me hasn't turned into a chore.

  • "Now a wrestling product...is that really worth losing sleep over and getting all stressed out and upset over." Who said anybody was losing sleep concerning a current wrestling product? And yes it is worth getting upset over if you really want the product to change so that the company can grow.

  • If I may quote The Joker WHY SO SERIOUS

I could find flaws with any wrestling product or TV show period. But who wants to do that. I watch TV shows & movies with the desire to enjoy them, and if I don't, then time to move on.

No show is perfect, but if you aren't going into the show with the intention of having fun, then you're cheating youself out of what makes Pro Wrestling great! Basically I'm saying that I shouldn't ever have to feel like I'm forcing myself to watch a show.

  • I don't watch the show every week....When I decide to watch, I also go into the show with a clear head, but when so many thing are being thrown at me that just don't make sense, it's really hard to not walk away thinking WTF just happend? TNA's main objective should be to compete with the WWE in the future and the current show WILL NOT help them achieve their goal.

  • "I don't watch every week"

Good. You shouldn't if you don't like it.

  • never quote the Joker again. You have no right to quote the insane clow prince of crime.

  • Why not? Everybody else does.

    Hell I'll do it again!

"I believe that whatever doesn't kill you only makes you...stranger"

"Do I look like a guy with a plan?! I'm a dog chasing cars. I don't know what I'll do with it if I catch it. I just DO things!"

    There we go.

  • "I watch Raw & *IMPACT* every week and 9 times out 10, I walk away from the TV with a big ol' smile on my face."

Really? Because usually I walk away from watching Impact with a dumbfounded look on my face...

  • Then why watch? Seriously, can't you find something more constructive to do on a Thursday night?

I just don't understand why you would watch a show you don't generally enjoy. What's the point?

I watch wrestling with the purpose of having fun and enjoying the show. I think alot of Internet fans watch the show with the intention of finding things wrong with the show, when they should probably think positively and try to enjoy it. And if they dont, then stop watching.

  • Have you ever heard of constructive criticism? You may think that "Internet fans" are always nitpicking and complaining about things, but the majority of us also offer great ideas that could maybe benefit TNA...Hence this video and hence instantclassic's recent videos.

  • Nothing wrong with saying things you didn't like about the show, but when it gets to a point where thats all you do, and you get to a point where you forget why you are even watching the show, then its probably time to stop.

I should know. Raw was unbearable in 2003. Just complete crap, and I kept watching it until one day I thought "Why?" And yes there are other things to watch. Hell in the Fall there's FOOTBALL!!

  • I was there when Danielson got his trial vs. Cade in Oakland. The crowd was quiet at first, but he got over in a BIG way by the time the match was over.

I thought it was stange that he won with Cade getting a big push soon after, but it was a great match. And if the WWE were to sign him it be a major coup for the WWE. He doesnt need a gimmick. He wins folks over with skill. And that's rare for the WWE.

  • Everybody has a right to state their opinion, but they are just that. Opinion.

Tslay or anybody else posting here most likely, has ever been in a backstage meeting for any wrestling show whether it be WWF/E, WCW, TNA, ECW or whatever. None of us have any idea what goes on backstage in order to put on a show.

Alot of these guys make it sound so easy to put on a wrestling show, and it certainly isn't.

  • then with that reasoning oh wise one. Why in the great holy goddess name. Should I give wwe or tna my time or money? If I'm going to act in a wise fashion. And not take the crap they try to pass off as "wrestling" at times or other wise? If I don't care for a product what is wrong with me giving a reason for it? that doesn't make me any less of a person or a fan. And I refuse to take crap from people who say it does.

  • Why should you give TNA or WWE your money? I hope you aren't! If you don't like the shows you shouldn't!

I'm not saying you can't say why you don't like a show. I just don't understand why anybody would say they hate something and THEN CONTINUE TO WATCH IT.

"I hate (insert name of wrestling company) I think it sucks blah blah blah"

(tunes into the show again the next week)

"I hate that show blah blah"

Its like an abused woman going back to an abusive boyfriend

  • well I watch the shows everyweek because I love wrestling so much and I want to watch the shows and I want to love them. To say we shouldn't watch shows we dont like is saying we should give up on wrestling apart from select promotions and shows you enjoy. It is a stupid comment and one which annoys me.

  • OK, I love Batman. He's my favorite superhero/comic book character. Does that mean I should waste my Saturday mornings watching that crappy "The Batman" cartoon because I love Batman. HELL NO!!!

If I think WWE/TNA/ROH/ABC/XYZ sucks, I'm not going to sit there and watch. I'll watch what I like, and I've got plenty of old tapes to enjoy. I tune in a few months later to see if things improve and see what happens.

  • And why the hell should you watch anything besides what you enjoy? If the show sucks all the time, don't you get eventually just get tired of it?

  • that comparison doesn't work as Batman is in its original form a comic book and not a cartoon. Wrestling is and will always be a show. WHat should I do go buy a sticker book and fill that in for two hours on a monday night? If you don't like a wrestling show we still watch because we love wresting and want to enjoy it. As I write this in fact I am watching iMPACT! and literally shouting things out in annoyance now and again, but why am i still watching? Because i love wrestling and WANT to enjoy

  • You could always go out with friends on a Monday night. There's no rule that says you have to stay home on a Monday, Thursday, or Friday night.

And why doesn't the comparrison work. If it has Batman's name on it, I'm going to at least give it a chance. If its wrestling, I am going to at least give it a chance, but if after a few viewings, I am not pleased, TV goes off. It's that simple.

  • Spot on.

You don't have to be a mechanic to know your cars fucked.

  • yeah, but when you start telling the mechanic how to do his job, your likely to piss him off.

  • You don't have to be a trained psychiatrist to correctly diagnose that Spinnernet is mental. You just cant get him committed unless you are.

I think you'll find that analogy is more apt.

  • So? If somebody makes a shitty movie, should we all just sit back with plastic smiles on our faces because we don't want to irritate the director?

  • No, just turn the movie off or walk out of the theater.

    ...duh.

  • And what analogy would you use when people are discussing a topic that you're likely to provide a negative tone about the subject matter? Smile and walk away from the conversation just so you can spare some feelings?

  • damn right calvin.
