@CastelmanxD: I include all the samples in the description. This clip is "Inferno" from "Undeceived" (2000) by Extol, a progressive death metal band from Norway and one of the most highly respected and influential Christian metal acts. I find that metal, especially when united with my beliefs, speaks to my own perspective on life, a difficult challenge but surmountable with the help of God and others, and SO worth sitting through until the end. These clips, though, are intended as entertainment.
I'm tempted to upload TWS for some select levels in this set, where the solution may be unclear. Looks like I may have to do it at the yahoo group, because chips portal still seems to be down.
@Lessinath: I was going to take a look at the dodging level's hints, which seemed to be the start of Temple of the Tooth, but the site was down; I did just fine figuring out a route myself, took about 30 seconds. Great level!
I recorded 15-18 and an intro to 19 in episode 5, but I wasn't sure if the audio was recording as I hadn't recorded for a while...which it didn't. Too bad, the session had lots of SKILLZ moments. The real episode 5 will not be blind, and maybe with even more SKILLZ. :)
@quadrupleplay You can never have too much SKILLZ in one video. It only took you 30 seconds to figure out a route for the teeth? I'm curious now, because the route I have is not exactly straightforward. Also, did the teeth in the end section eat you at all? There are only a few levels with blobs like level 19, and even fewer with walkers. Nothing else like Walker Rage. Some are that difficult, but with a lot less random.
@Lessinath: I died once in the ending room. One other time I cloned [15, 28] before removing the yellow lock, such that I got blocked and only the SLIDE DELAY SHENANIGANS from Sliding DEATH could save Chip.
16 was a great level. It seems slightly busted since I have both the flippers and suction boots at once...the SKILLZ contrast is obvious when I never died in the Dodge! section despite MASSIVE CONFUSION and walked into the fire instead of the exit! Will see what happens during the new ep.
@quadrupleplay 16 used to be more difficult. The gliders used to clone every [7] instead of every [35]. This meant the glider pen filled up quickly, and there were also no suction boots or flippers so you had to bridge from [16,22] to [26,22] for the chip and then from [20,19] to [27,19] then from [28,21] to [2,26] not needing double bridges due to an ice curve and then defeat the force floor section. Not complex, but you could only afford to loose about [20] or gliders would flood the area.
@quadrupleplay Did you notice the hint for when to go south with the force floor in the end room of level 17? In level 16, the fact that you can get suction boots and force floor boots at the same time is in fact intended, because not everyone would think to check the two spots where you find them. Level 19 is not a good level, but it's saveable by removing a few blobs (which I have).
@AlphaCrucis The name was indeed a LoZ reference, because when I finished it the layout reminded me of what you could expect a dungeon in a game like that to look like.
@AlphaCrucis That was exactly my thinking. There's another level like it later on too that's actually easier (the levels are not yet sorted by difficulty) and two more past that which are much, much harder. I'm more fond of teeth levels, but you have not even seen the first here.
2:50 Not loosing the fire boots earlier is actually a bust, but it's so minor I won't bother to fix it. 11:40 Not sure what to do about the slide delay shenanigans, because I didn't intend it, besides replace the corner with some small fiendishly difficult mini sokoban or something. I don't like the glider/bug section above it, either, so I may actually do that. I'm really looking forward to the solution you find for levels 16 and 17, because they can be tricky.
If I had been around for CCLP3 submissions, I would have submitted Lower Fortress for it as well as Singing Dragon Dungeon after making them balanced in lynx ruleset - most of these levels are solvable in lynx except the ones that are fundamentally not, but either far harder (level 13 is insanely hard in lynx) or far easier (you can solve level 26, that you have not seen yet, in under 20 moves in lynx)
1:24 You need to clone 25 -and you can push the block from the other side and use that instead... come on, you can window shop them all :P 5:14 You say that now, hehehe... 6:32 I'm not so evil as to cook you like that at that point. 7:13 it is NOT lucky timing unless you miss moves on the force floors. 7:34 Yes, that's a bit of lucky timing, but it's early in the level so it isn't so bad. 12:57 It is NOT lucky timing when you're not supposed to go there. 14:40 Goal!
@Lessinath: 7:13, no it wasn't, just having fun with this one. Some LPers started shouting angry quotes from others even if they weren't completely true.
13:04 answers that question...I was trying to say that but stumbled somewhat.
Singing Dragon Dungeon is by far my favorite of the set so far!

Above all, I hope these three levels were fun to play :P

Singing Dragon Dungeon was very fun to watch. Nice level! The name reminded me of the Dancing Dragon Dungeon from Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons.

@Lessinath I thought so, with all those rooms. Even the ice slides resembled the mine cart rides.

@quadrupleplay Well, it could be worse... It could have been at the end of one of the really long levels you'll find later :P
