I love "Super 8"! Is there a sequel coming? I was able to watch the full movie in Blu-Ray quality at watchsuper8onlinefree doooot cooom. I mean dot com hehe.
today trish keenan died.. R.I.P she was a great musician, loved the video composed with one of my favorites songs of her, echo's answer... we'll miss her
Dang, it looked like you guys filmed on a perfect day at the beach too. San Francisco is a cool place to film on days like this in the film. Great Job!
oh woooow, this looks really amazing...the red and blue contrast, and the balloons :D wonderful!...I saw a Bell & Howell in an antique shop last week, really cheap..and the only problem is that I can't buy the film role and I can't expose film nowhere here in Croatia :( too bad...
one 50ft reel( around 3min 20sec) is around 10 euros and processing is around 15 euros and to telecine( transfer to digital format) varies for qualities- around 15 euros standard quality up to 50 euros for HD-high definition. also theres shipping charges depending where you live :)
Hi everyone! thanks for the kind words. This super 8 film was shot on a cheap $5 camera called a bell and Howell autoload. Yeah next time I'll get a good transfer to my computer
Not going to lie, I have watched this video every day for a week, this alone has made me interested in filming with Super 8. I don't know what it is but there is something completely surreal and organic about this.
I shoot film too - but it would be cool to drop in an S8mm cartridge-shaped digital capture device into my S8 camera that captured progressive-scan video footage. It could store gigs of video and maybe have a USB connection to upload to my computer. The pull claw from the camera's film gate would activate a snapshot for each frame.
pretty girls in red dresses and skateboarding, what more could you want? i was thinking of stopping using super 8 when they stopped kodachrome 40, but i think i'll give this stuff a go

I really enjoyed that. There is something particularly striking about the red dress and the ballons. Wonderfully poetic. Bravo :)
