If we extend these rights to family members who are sick and things of that nature, absolutely. but to give that benefit to a group of people just because they are homosexual is not fair.
marriage is a religious institution for straight people bunnyisGod, so you make absolutely no sense. gays/lesbians are afforded the same rights through civil unions, they dont need marriage. elton john even said as much in USA Today when this issue first started, google it. the people of california decided what kind of community they wanted to have.
the institution is religious, founded by religious people. both types of marriages you are speaking of fall under the same authority, the state. and the people of california through a state wide vote decided what kind of community they wanted to live in.
whats stupid is trying to bully into someone's ancient traditions, not caring about their boundaries, then complaining about how you've been mistreated. you dont have to apologize, i'm not mad at you.
i cant wait till gay people can get legally wed in Indiana...

Yes, it does.
I was saying that we give marriage to straight people because they are straight. Makes sense, if you think about it.

Ooh, I see.
I still think it's unfair and stupid, but I see.
Sorry for arguing with you, by the way.
