Not to be offensive or something, but when you go out and stuff, people see you as a guy. When that happens do you tell them you are a girl or not? I mean if they ask for it.
I ID'ed as Butch for many years and it felt quite comfortable and affirming for me. So I totally get what you mean by feeling good about it. I always viewed it (and still do) as a really empowering identity. Butches are hot. Love the butches, especially the ones that are still gentle and caring in their demeanor and not trying to proove how tough they are.
@MeikoEliasXavier Hi Meiko, Thanks for watching. Yeah, I also appreciate the butches who aren't concerned with acting really tough or macho... that drives me crazy. :)
Wow, you're absolutely a charmer. Funny before I went gay my ex looked exactly like you! As I am trollin' your fabulous videos, keep up the good work lovely lady:)
I feel almost awkward saying it - but i mean - you know you don't really look or read as female right? I don't know if it's because im just seeing your upper body. But to me you read as a guy. just a reality check from one other 'brain' amongst a ton of others..
@GeoTrans89 I get what you mean; I'm "read" as a guy much of the time in public, by strangers. I look masculine, and that's what I like; it's "me." But the thing about being butch is, it shows that gender does not have to be connected to the body, to one's sex. I can look masculine, and a male can look masculine, yet he is a male and I'm a female. The fact that I look masculine doesn't have to mean anything as far as what sex I am or "should" be. I used to wonder if my masculinity (cont.)
@GeoTrans89 (cont.) "meant" that I "was really" trans and should be male, but now I have been reminded of the fact that my masculinity is a separate issue from my sex. For me personally, individually, I am fine being masculine and female, even if the public doesn't recognize this as a perfectly valid or understandable option. I don't feel the need to be read as female (I'm OK if strangers mistake me), so I'm content looking however I end up looking. Thanks for watching!
Good for you! I also fairly recently came to the conclusion that i'm a butch. I had been toying with the trans identity for years. But i never had the physical dysphoria that trans people talk about. Me and you are A LOT alike in our realizations.
Hey Al, I'm so happy to hear that you seem to have found a good fit for yourself. In one of your previous videos you mentioned trying to get a group going, possibly at the Billy DeFrank Center, if you happen to get that going please let me know. That is something I'd love to check out. Take care!
So you feel comfortable in your body and you feel butch as in masculine. =) right? i think that what separates transguys from people who feel like you do is that transguys are not comfortable with their bodies. People need to realize that every one is different and everyone has there own utopia or perfect-ness somewhere in some community. congrats on finding you =) -Jacob
@ftmartcollab Thanks a lot! Yes, I definitely feel like everyone is different and can really "come to life" in amazing ways if they find a community, an idea, or whatever, that helps them out.
I l-l-l-l-l-ove the bike!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)))

@TheSLOfox Thank you for articulating this. I also don't mind it when I'm read as a dude.
