I think that the truth is: the only time that LUCAS was the one who broke up with a girl was with Anna. And he did it because he loved brooke.

But on the other cases it was BROOKE and LINDSAY who broke up with him because of peyton.

what I'm saing is, peyton is always in the way of luke's relationships. But the only time he was actualy the one to break up with them it was for Brooke. And that says it all to me.
