The Flood in Halo 3 is far better than Halo 2, because they die a lot quicker.

In the campaign lobby, press X and you will open the skulls menu. On the top, it should say scoring. set it to free for all if ur playing solo or team if your playing co-op

This therie on saving hostages is true if u can save all hostages in the game without one dieing is an schevment and yes this is hard

I never really had a hard time with the brutes. It's the grunts sneaking around and sticking you that gets me. Some of them even do suicide hugs with ready granades. Could that be because of some skulls my friends have on or is that how their sapose to act in halo 3.

They do that on their own.

the grunts will do suicide attempts so it is part of halo 3. It's more on certain parts through out the game and on harder difficulties

the brutes seem harder in Halo 2, I get straight up OWNED by the brutes, they seem easier here.

halo 2 brutes are super difficult wth sucky weapons but in halo 3 u can melee then shotgun him and he dies

On any other difficulty level I'd be able to 'run&gun' like some Rambo guerilla guy, but on legendary....Those snipers were just too perfect. Still trying Sierra 117 thanks for the tips.

These videos are fantastic. I just beat Arrival and Sierra 117 on Legendary and I'm seeing some similar tactics to what I used, but also some helpful advice. I didn't realize how easy it was to not only kill the brutes with the plasma, but also that sometimes running in guns blazing can let you just melee off guard enemies (like in the beginning). I play really timidly on Legendary because of those damn snipers.

There was a glitch I had with the crashed pelican, Johnson would be standing right there, but you couldn't interact/kill him, and I just ended up continuing on the level, very odd.

Me and my friend were playing for the high score achievement on this level. We had the catch skull on. At the part where Johnson and his men go across a bridge, throwing grenades, and Johnson says: "Come on you dumb apes. If you want breakfest, you gotta catch it." So, beacause of the Catch skull, the grunts threw grenades to and knocked johnson off. He would not proceed.  When we got to the captive marines, we could remove the shield, but they would not react. So we didnt win which sucks.

when ur saving that hostage, u can also use a needler and kill him in just a couple of hits since the needles blow up.
