when i was a kid, i would sneak my transistor radio into bed with me and listen to the MULL SINGING CONVENTION. Mr. MUll played many a recording of the CHUCK WAGON GANG.
@headredbone The CWG have always been my all time favorites. I'm in my 60's and about 25 years ago my wife bought me a Mull Singing Convention songbook with the original CWG autographs. May not be much to some folks but to a country boy like me and probably you too, it is a find. What a gospel group!
Wheres the drum machine? Wheres the synthisyzer, Where is the big screen on the wall with the lyrics, Where are the people showing out and eating the microphones? Where is the plexiglass pulpit and the plastic plants?
I love these old songs, esp. the CWG. Thank you and God Bless you for bringing them back here...to me it brings back so much of what Christianity was to me growing up in southeast Kentucky
