  • Lol! Frederic Chopin's Marche Funebre.

  • i wonder how they did all that coffin sequence with the technology (or lack thereof) for movie editing in the 60's. i'm also intrigued by how those animations were filmed and put along with the live action sequences. i love the way they do, it was so primitive but so well done, its fantastic.

  • Michael Palin is supposed to be an Australian, with a can of beer & a surfboard. Implying that the hole is so deep, it goes all the way to Australia. The out door scenes were filmed in Burley Woodhead, and Cow & Calf on Rombalds moor. My old school can be seen!!! happy days

  • I love the silky smooth transitions in Monty Python.. like that transvestite policeman.

  • If you noticed anything at 3:46, you should go fall on something sharp.

  • Interesting how they can fit 6 corpses in one coffin.

  • oh my! mike looks quite good as a surfer dude!

  • wer the fuck is undertaker

  • Are you nervy, irritable, depressed, tired of life? *wink* Keep it up.

  • @TheTinTrooper Ya! I was bummed they edited that out. That's a great line!

  • Anyone know what that song that played for the first 20 seconds was?

  • I love how you see the frameskip at 3:47 and 3:48:P

  • well actually those times would have been worse for gravediggers because more people were dieing before they could have kids, thus while there was a relative boom in job opportunities for a short period the there would be a drop in commerce after one generation

  • ooh that must have been exhausting :p hahahaha nice trickery with angles

  • 1:35 One of the best stage-falls I've ever seen!

  • nice sketch

  • Didn't Terry Jones' part get cut, "Keep it up".

  • 3:46-3:47, I see what you guys did there. It's a Coffin of Infinite Holding!

  • if you notice he did not entirely fit

  • uhu i've noticed that to :p lol

  • BAH! John Cleese would never fit in a regular sized coffin.

I bet he needs specially made beds and stuff.

  • no i don't think so he is 1.95 m or so but not over 2 m and the regular beds have a standart mesurment of 2m in length and with depending if buy a doubble bed for 2 persons so i don't thnk so

  • @sAndyTV

    Nice chaps fit anywhere.

  • @sAndyTV and it must be buried, pointing to the North East. The same direction he wanted to feint in Monty Python's Holy Grail

  • 3:47

  • "Are you nervy, irritable, depressed, tired of life? Keep it up."

  • i love the fack that michael koms out of the hole like a surfer

  • 3:53 they have stopped the recording and taken body out the coffin........i luv monty python but laughed wen i spotted dat

  • You'd think the last guy would think something was up and would just cease carrying the coffin.

  • "I've fallen off my chair Brian."

  • Banana.

  • i'm tempted to say phone.

  • how the hell is this sad??? its supposed to be funny! they're tired and they go into the coffin, theres nuthin sad about that

  • I dont know if anyone has ever seen the video to Becks song "loser" but it is a blattant rip-off of the coffin scene.

  • I love the evacuation of the grave. That is pure random genious.

  • what is the name of that song for the Four tierd undertakers.

  • It's Frederic Chopin's Funeral March from Piano Sonata No. 2 in B-flat minor.

  • Thank you, I was looking for that title!!! :) The Game Over melody.

  • Lol. "I've fallen off my chair, Brian!"

  • actually... its hilarious and sad XD

  • It's actually really sad when they're walking and they all die while carrying their own coffin. Well, I thought it was, anyway. :/

  • Sad? It's hilarious !! Anyway, their not dead, just very tired...

  • They're DEAD tired rofllmao!!!!

  • Not as dead as me... of laughter!

  • a Gumby montage would be most welcome.

  • OH yeah "My Brain hurts".

  • Graham getting shirty: XD

My mom would use the same tone of voice when she got fed up with something, emphasizing words just like he does.

  • Yeah, those guys are probably Partisans.

  • maybe the soldiers are POWs escapin n the officer is chasing them down, u know tunnels from the great escape n stuff like that

  • What is Palin holding, and who are the two blokes that come just before the germans?

  • Michael's holding a 70s old school boogie board.

  • LOL when Michael Paulin comes out of the hole. Completely out of place (4:50)

  • that's classic monty python that is :)

  • Brilliant!

  • I've fallen off my chair, Brian!

  • "Oh, those were the days!"

"I've fallen off my chair, Brian!"

These are great, but I kinda wish the undertaker scenes weren't cut together like this. It makes it feel a bit awkward, especially since the Jimmy Buzzard scene is out of place.

  • lol

  • Thank you so much!!

  • I LOVE this sketch!

  • they're looking good in such undertaker suits hehe

    specially cleese^.^

  • lol, this is so funny.

  • HAHAHA. xD
