  • Nice vid......She looks exactly like my one mitzi.

  • what a lovely video! i have a staff too and shes the best. sorry for your loss of cassie

  • Wish I could see an actual video and not some idiots idea of an MTV music video.

  • Dog is man's best friend. That's why so many of us have at least one. As men, we have so much in common with them: We're usually low-maintenance (it doesn't take a lot to please us). Our needs our fairly basic. If we're loved and treated right, our loyalty is endless. All a dog wants is shelter, food, & love and he'll take a bullet for you.

  • my sbt is awesome. She's the fcking greatest!!!!

  • just rescued a staff the animal shelter his name is jock (as he was born in scotland) and i must say even though hes only 2 year old and coverd in countless scars (we think he was used for fighting) he has to be the softest dog ive ever owned hes so afectionate, sticks to me and my roomate like glue. after meeting this incredable dog whos been through hell and still manages to smile i refuze to belive these dogs are vicious!

  • i was thinking of getting a staffy i have two daughters 11 and 10 are they anything like pitbulls??

  • @550blue my brother had a staffy and it was the best dog ever, very gentle and patient and very loyal dog, he would leave the dog with his 3 year old son knowing that the dog would watch over him, you see its the owners that make dogs bad not the dogs.

  • @550blue I have a staffy cross pit and i can say they are the best pet you could ask for. Also when you say are they anything like pitbulls, pitbulls arent nasty dogs if thats why you asked its just how they have been brought up by pathetic owners.

  • I have 2 Staffords myself and was so pleased to see ur video, really well done.there really is no other breed as loyal and as loving!!!!

  • This is a fantastic video!!! It demonstrates the true nature of the Staff!! I LOVE them and my girl is flawless, i could not live happily without her!! Thanx for posting this clip!!! :)

  • Gorgeous! I too am a staffy owner...she is the most gorgeous dog alive. We have a son with Autism and she is so patient and loving with him. When we go out for walks, she thinks all kids are there to see HER! She is the most loving girl and I would take down anyone who tried to take her from us! <3

  • Love it, thank you for sharing.

  • Comet makes a heck ofa noise when anybody barks at the door - enough of a warning to say be careful - yet once someboyd comes in he is a total pest for the first few mintues as he says hello.

The other day he must have heard our friend saying hello to someboyd in the road, because he was barking and whining a couple of minutes before she knocked.

  • staffys are amazing dogs,i would be lost without my boy deisel,it makes me so sad how many rescues there are in sspca and dogs trust, this film shows there not evil,or aggressive any dog can be like that!!!! with the right owners they are loyal trustworthy great dogs ♥♥ xxxxxx

  • my staffy died on friday. boy does it hurt. thank you for your video.

  • i once was scared of staffys and thought they were dangerous breeds until i went to the dog home and met one called paddy, he was the sweetest dog i ever met but i couldnt have him, now ive got my puppy kyo and he is great. people need to actualy meet a staffy before you put the breed to shame

  • THERE ARE NO BAD DOGS just BAD OWNERS

  • i am going to be a staffy owner in about 2 weeks, so excited! now i know these dogs are friendly which is good!! but if an intruder was to break into my house would my staffy welcome him or bark and scare him off???

  • @howBoutRedTubelol my staffy is just over 3 now, and she does me sooo proud!!! i have wondered this over the years, and to be honest it depends how you bring ur dog up!! my dog is very well socialised, and would welcome all she knew, but rest assured if u snuck in whilst were all unawares shed let me and you know! would reccomend this breed of dog to anyone who can give them the love they deserve back!! DONT BREED!!! RESCUE!!! too many unwanted suffering dogs already!!!

  • @timusmaxius ok kool thanx for the comment appreciate it, yeah your right does depend on how you bring up your pup, every time i went to my local dog pound an english staffy would be already be taken, i had no other option but to go to a breeder, either way im so happy with my lil pup XD cant wait til he gets over his biting stage, they sometimes hurt lol haha but yeh thanx for the msg its good to know he'll at least bark if an intruder was to come around

  • @howBoutRedTubelol she will bark bark and bark some more. great alarm dog and intimidating enough to make someone think twice. soo hard when they go. enjoy every day

  • Thanks for making this video, hopefully all of the ignorant fools out there will realize how amazing these dogs really are. Now if you'll excuse me, I'M GONNA GO CUDDLE WITH MY STAFFIE :D he's the best everrrrrr! <3

  • my sister's staff is soft as and but very protective too.

  • This dog is child in soul , he will play with kids for hours and hours. But they got bad reputation because immature idiots buy them and train them to be aggressive... Early socialization is a must and this dog is perfect if you do the right thing and not train him to be "tough and aggressive"

  • Those who do not know a staffie would better not give their opinion. Don't compare the to a Yorkie, compare them to a bull mastiff or a rottweilers. These dogs love children. They were called in the UK the nunny dog. They are highly intelligent. Of course, all dogs have issues once in a while, but why not discuss problems other dogs have caused?

  • I too have Staffordshire Bull Terrier. I just think they are the most handsome dogs in the world, and when i used to walk my dog, people used to stop me on the street and ask me what type of dog my little Oddie was. Oddie was a brindal colour and i would give anything to get him back again. God knows where he is now, i love you Oddie

  • so these are pitbulls?

  • most of the time its not the dog thats the problem, its the owner and how the dog is being treated :) I have got a staff called Daisy and she is the most loving and loyal dog. She is part of the family and we would be lost without her :) x

  • so true

  • if ppl say staffy's r dangerous then i hav to say they r right to a degree...staffordshire bull terriers will lick u to death n knock u flat to do it, very, very dangerous indeed, we should all be very afraid XD

  • Facts little off, staffs weren't used for bullbaiting originally that's why they are so small, how the original pitbull use to be sized, but more lean. Staffs were used for fighting dogs and small animals, larger bulldogs were used for bulls, the terriers were used for fighting vermin "tenacious", when sports became banned, they look to dog fighting which breed mastiffs/terrier, the name bull terrier. The (cuz) amstaff is a pit to a degree, the first reg amstaff for akc was petey(rascals), the pit

  • facts ? one remarc :

NEVER a Staffordshire Bull Terrier was , is or will be a guard dog or an attack dog . Staffordshire Bull Terrier lack guard instinct . It is not a dog for such a task . Can bite a sleeve for sport , but that not make it a guard dog .

  • i too am a staffy owner and i love my boy as much as i love my kids he is part of the family and we would all be lost with out him especially my daughter as they grew up togther. ITS THE OWNERS AND NOT THE BREED! my jake its as soft as jelly and as loopy as my kids and they all love running round the park together!

  • the 1 person who dose not like this is a moron

  • In the modern world, you'd think we'd stop this hypocrisy. Discrimination is wrong. Of the four dogs I own, 3 are Staffordshire Bull Terriers. Everyday they spend with other animals including our 13 rescued cats. One of the Staffordshire Bull Terriers decided to begin feeding our rescued kittens after their mother rejected them. Without her these four kittens would not be have survived, yet you tell me she deserves to die?

    Staffies are amazing. End of.

  • my staffie gets along with all other animals inc cats, chickens and other dogs ! shes so soft..... she loves children and gets upset when people dont stroke her ! :)

  • people always judge the looks first.don't judge a book by it's cover! i also own a staffy..the most loving dog in the world..only danger caused by my staffy is when she licks you to pieces!

  • you forgot one important fact for all would be staffie owners. Staffies are totally and completly bonkers! lol

  • i love my staff:) shes great with people but not other dogs

have a look at her on my channel

  • My Amstaff died 9 mos ago and it has been described here and other places when the words love, kids, gentle, family, well behaved and trained are mentioned.

I forgot the word spoiled. The easiest thing in the word is to spoil them when they give you so much in return. They are totally unconditional with love and it shocks those who want to accuse them of being dangerous beasts.

    RIP Buster.

  • great dogs we have 2 of them, one black, one tan.weve always believed there is no such thing as a bad dog, just a bad owner

  • such a shame that this breed has become a must have for chav idiots. Being associated with these halfwits destroys this animals image.

  • I always say that the only way my Staff will harm you is if you are soluble.

  • why do people always put every bully type dog breed in the same place as a pittbull? this isn't even a pitbull its a staffordshire bull terrier. plus the reason pitbulls are so bad these days is the people breeding them and not breeding for sound temperament.

  • I love this video except for the fact that the lyrics in the song are "I wanna make love" in a dog video ha. Great vid though.

  • Hi, just to let you know, the SBT didn't actually come from Staffordshire in England. It was a group of men from Staffordshire that decided to develop the breed standard for the breed and that was how they got the Name The Staffordshire Bull Terrier. The breed was actually developed outside of Staffordshire originally. And yes, they are the best dogs in the world, especially around children. Blame the owner not the dog !!!!!!

  • i have a staff black and brown hes name is berty and he is frindally

  • Staffys and APBT = Best Dogs ever !!!!!!!! Its the assholes that put big chains and try to make them look mean that ruin there name !!!

  • My mum's friend has a staffy, it's a lovely dog, wouldn't hurt a fly!

  • i myself have a staffie with a year and a half my family were very anxious when i got her as my sister has 3 small kids two with special needs and my staffie becky can sense this and minds those kids like their her own pups , the most trustworthy and loyal family dog in the world i wouldnt give her up for anything .

  • Awww!!! R.I.P. Cassie :)

  • Great video. Love the staffy to bits. Kind, loyal, clever and sweet. You couldn't wish for a better dog!!

  • no dog is born dangerous.

  • nice vid. we r thinking about taking a staffy from a dog rescue.there is just 2 many of lovely dogs esp. staffys in there...so sad.:-(

  • our staffy was killed by the people next door because they thought it was dangerous

  • I live with 4 of them! As well as a Labrador, German Shepherd and our 12 cats, 9 rats and 2 ferrets. Not an ounce of aggression shown in our house! We take in rescue animals, especially ones who are abused. When we got our first cat, our Staffies had not met a cat before, but we had no choice as the cat would have been killed. When we introduced them, the staffies showed no aggressive interest and just wanted to play! Now they all get along. The best breed in the world!

  • i would like to say, they are breed for that, im a new owner by 6 months,i ve brought the citranella collar..... it works sometimes,oh ny the way he lives with my very old jack russell, i dont believe at any point he has chamged the peckin order, mutz always eats first, but i9 cant help but ne worried, he sits behind him and then eats, but he does get very excited and snap round the face, im not delealing with a loser, he is mighty blooody good lookin

  • MUTED... ahh now I can enjoy the video.

  • AHH fantastic video, ur dog is absolutly stunning shes exactly the same as my lil boy! ill be sharing on fb as everyone should see this video its a shame the news can not produce a story like this insted of only the bad ones!!! xxxxx

  • I have proudly owned my staffordshire for almost 6 yrs now and she is the most friendly loving dog ever she listens better than any other dog we have had although we love them all she our oldest and most well manored thanks for the video

  • they are dangerous but only out of sheer clumsiness mine would deliberatly hurt you but stand in front of him when hes at full speed and it really hurts

  • STAFFIES ! ...the best breed ever...period!

  • I love my little rosey to bits, such a loyal, friendly and playful little companion

  • gd vid m8,ave had staffs all ma life, from judael 2 scylax an diesiel dan, best dogs eva created . SBT FOREVER

  • ur dog is fat

  • RIP cassey

  • true facts.....thank you .....i have 17week old staffy and he is cute and very loving.....great clip

  • I love staffies!

they have such lovely little faces, but their eyes often look a bit sad, makes me want to cuddle them <3

  • dangerous ha they are the most loving and playful breed you can find people who say they are dangerous are just ignorant

  • Believe it or not, 3 of the most aggresive dogs which account for the most bites to people are jack Russels, Yorkshire Terriers and Golden retrievers, but you dont see any of these breeds getting bad press.

Staffs are the best dogs you could come across

  • Im not just saying this, but I come from a big family that has owned all kinds of breeds of dogs over the years, and staffs are the nicest of all breeds, loyal, loving, good tempered and very friendly, i have never in my entire life met 1 single staffy that is any way shape or form aggresive or nasty, the only down side with staffs is the fact they dont normally like other dogs, this can be trained out of them but lots of breeds of dogs dislike other dogs (I mean strange dogs they dont know)

  • awww the one at 0.15 seconds just looks like my mine hes called buster lol

  • Great video - Check out "Buster! There can be only one dog that fits that name..."

  • Great Video x

  • i cant wait too get one they beutifull and loving.

  • The only issue I have ever had with the Staffordshire Bull Terrier is that after owning then you never want any other breed of dog. They are simply teh best

  • Our Staffy is called Brocc and we got him from Jerry Greens Dog Rescue Centre. As we was walking out of Jerry Greens He wouldn't stop looking at out family even though there we loads of other people there. So we decided to get him. He's the most loving dog ever and so Loyal. I couldn't ask for a better dog. Thanks Jerry Greens. xxx

  • is it true staffordshire bull terriers are just pitbull that have been giving too many skittles???

  • @Ryan4321 pitbuls came from breeding staffs other terriers and bulldog breeds, pitbulls initially bred in England, Ireland, and Scotland, and arrived in the United States with immigrants from these countries

  • @Ryan4321 twat

  • wow! a staffy youtube clip that the sneering Daily Mail reading biggotts have clearly missed.... no negative twaty comments. Great vid.

  • wow! a staffy youtube clip that the sneering Daily Mail reading biggotts have clearly missed.... no negative twaty comments. Great vid.

  • lol first of the song seems innapropriate when your talking about dogs lol but seriously staffs are a beutiful and so relaxed calm intelligent and loving which is why i hate the way they are portraied in the media and that some people will go out of there way to avoide them like when i take my blue staffie out for walks and just cos im a 17 year old male teen taking my dog for a walk people assume the worst

  • I don't know how people can think they're vicious, I voluntarily work at an animal rescue centre and find them one of the friendliest breeds.

  • Great video, I love staffies :)

    RIP Cassie xx

  • i hate the people who have give stafys a bad reputation there not dangerouse there actually the freadlyist dog my mates got one called roxy shes never bit any one she so loving !! i love her !! and !!! i !!! love!!! STAFFIES !!

  • great video... Only thing wrog with this breed is that it mostly will not guard your home, but thinking intruders are there to play LOL. But aside from that, i really lost my heart to this breed. Hope to get one, one day.

  • i m working at an animal shelter, and there is this Staffordshire Bull Terrier that noone want, and im fearing they will put him to sleep soon, because he is so big and strong and people are afraid of him and keep thinking he is a pit bull so they tend not to adopt him, but he is a gentle giant, sweet, smart, cuddly, loving and wouldn't even hurt a fly.his owner die in car accident now he doesn't hav a home,i hate how people breed n sell dogs yet dogs are being kill everday cuz noone want them

  • I have a staffy called billy and hes on here loads .Did you know that staffys are now classed as a pit bull in the generic term. We must all be aware of the BSL laws. All good owners know that our staffys are great dogs.

  • these dogs only get bad rep beacause they look like t pitbull terrier which in the right hands is also an extereemly loving dog ma staff cross pitbull is loving towards my2 yr old sister and she hits it on the nose and it licks her face but 2 month ago my sister was in the front garden and the naybors dog which is a bull mastiff started chasing her and snappin and growling at her before our dog rocky had killed it because he was pretecting her

  • Wow i know someone who owns a dog who looks just like cassie and its name is cassie plus she owns a staffy who looks just like yours except its called tia :P

  • I own a Staffordshire Bull Terrier and, she is the best dog we've ever had! she allows my 2yr old son 2 walk her round by holding her ear!

these dogs get alot of bad press but in my opinion it's because people dont no the difference between a S.B.T and a pit-bull!! it's the owners fault not the dogs!

  • do you know if they bark a lot?

  • staffs or pits?

  • Staffy breeding has been more controlled so they are generally the friendlier breed, but pitbulls have been ruined in the past 30-50 years by bad breeding

  • @GnR100 I have a staffie and he barks like super rarely, it was like 2 months before we even heard him bark :L x

  • I love my Molly more than anything:-) She`s 14 months old,and all white (with black spots on the skin under her fur) she is just wonderful, and loving, trusting (maybe TOO trusting?)and ready to launch a facelicking-assault any time:-)

  • Comment removed

  • I've talked to loads of people who own Staffordshire bull terriers and other dogs and they all say that they're such nice dogs. People who have a bad opinion of them are just told these things from propaganda from the media. Example: i saw an article saying "number of dog bites increases" the picture was off a staffy. I researched the statistics and west highland terrier had the highest biting percentage! It's things like that that give them a bad name and bad owners.

  • they are about as dangerous as a jelly,i too own a staffy and she is as loving as you could ever imagine a dog could be also very loyal. you only have to give them love and they will definitly give it back

  • @mawoods34 same here mines 1

  • @mawoods34 my staffy bites the shit outta everything

  • any dog can be dangerous, the problem is at the other end of the lead.

    BLAME THE DEED NOT BREED

  • @OB84QPR that is very true, bad owner = bad dog but the main problem is once a dog does wrong they stereotype the breed and of course they get bad press and then are deemed dangerous

  • @OB84QPR got it spot on there mate, i own a staff, n trouble, its the owner,

  • @OB84QPR That is so stupid. I can't believe you have 33 likes for that ignorant statement.

Do you honestly think a Staff has the same capacity to injure as say a Yorkshire Terrier?

Yes the owner does matter aswell but that is only a small part of the problem. Staffordshire Bull Terriers are one of the most dangerous types of dog you can own. They were never intended as family dogs.

The wounds they can inflict on other animals and people are terrible due to their robust, wide jaws.

  • @anonomousous Any working type dog has that same capability to do a great deal of damage to people, animals, and property, just because they are large, powerful, energetic dogs. That being said, with a good owner, they are some of the best breeds of dog to own. Staffordshire and Pit Bull terriers, Dobermans, mastiffs, German Shepherds, Great Danes, Rottweilers, Black Russian Terriers, Bouvier, the list goes on and on of wonderful dogs that need firm leadership.

  • Everybody liks their own type of dog but just because the Staffordshire Bull Terriers origins were fighting dogs, dosen't mean the Staffies now are made for fighting. My Staff wouldn't even bite or bark. He wouldn't even hurt a fly and as it says in this video they call them The Nanny Dogs because they are so affectionate with children. There are most not the most dangerous dog in the world, it all depends on the way you raise them. There are most defintaly NOT dangerous dog in the world.

  • STAFFS ARE THE BEST DOG

  • There dangerous when put into the wrong hands but apart from that there amazing dogs very easy to traine aswell

  • i have a STB just like that one....... but black

  • the dogs only as good as its owner. i got a2 kids,1 is 9 and the other is 2 an i can put my life on the line that the staff iv ad 4 5yrs wont even snarl at them let alone anything else

  • well done bro..iv had my staff going on 5 yrs shes been raised with 2 of my kids who used 2 ride her an shoot her with water pistols, sometimes even hitting her as kids do, and i can honestly say my staff didnt even batter an eyelid...if anything she enjoyed the attention. the dog is as only as good as the owner!!!!

  • Are staff is 2 now we have brought her up from 6 weeks old hand fed shes the most loyal dog ive ever come across at best the only thing people ie friends complain about is her licking them and wanting affection. We have a 6 year old son him and tasha are the best of friends .. how anyone can put this dog in the dangerous list is over my head !! lovely video cheers :)

  • I work at a vets and I havent come across an aggressive staffie. Jack Russels, Collies and most of the small dogs are by far the worst.

  • collies are the true dangerous dogs, i base this on a collie attacking my friends jack russel. i watched this video beacuase i was thinking of getting a staffy, every where i look i see only positives to attaining such a breed as the SBT

  • As a vegetarian and a dog lover. I can find no better dog than the SBT. My SBT of 1 year old is the best most loving dog I've ever had, he loves everyone and wouldn't hurt a fly. He's the greatest dog you could have the honour of owning. :-)

  • beautiful....

    fucking beautiful.....

  • we too have a little staffy 10wks old so playful and loving and her little face lights up when she see's are older dog a very miss understood dog its all down to how you bring up a dog R.I.P cassie

  • Great video, we too own a Staffie and are totally fed up with the publicity generated by irresponsible owners. Our staffie was recently attacked by a Collie as we walked him through the village on a lead. No harm was done but can you imagine the furore if it had been the otherway round.

  • Heres a good fact. On Sunday I spent 3 hours in A&E because I was attacked. We have owned 5 staffords now plus my dad has one. The dog that attacked me? A COLLIE. My dads stafford was sitting on my lap and tried to protect me. She's only met me 3 times but still wanted to help me. Thats a true stafford.

  • great video....staffies are great dogs, mine is 7 months and the most loving, affectionate dog ever :-)

  • No way are sraffies dangerous they are the most loving dog ever

  • loe this

  • staffies are my favourite breed.

  • RIP cassie sorry for that :S

  • i hav a staffy, amazing with my kids, little 17month sits on her, puts toys on top of her all she does just sits there or gets up and licks him 2 death! when they r playin outside ad shes not she sits and watches them , n doesnt take her eys off them. she is not just a family pet, she is our family

  • This vedio is great !! Thank you to whom ever posted it. You may have helped me keep from moving . My landlord thinks my bull terrier is some kind of pitbull and dangerous. Maybe this will open his eyes.

  • richerd its me jamie liams mate enyways nice video

  • im glad other people notice that staffies are wonderful family dogs. i have a stffy who can be energetic but knows her limits when around children. I have a staffy 2 yrs oldnow and shes the softes dog i have had, out of a basset hound, sheap dog and sheltie cross power to the staffies. DEED NOT BREED xxx

  • brilliant video your staffy is a splitting image of mine

    its weird too look

i was thinking you have my dog lol

great video glad thers people sticking up for staffies.

  • Time well spend. Thank You.
