It takes me less than a minute to beat Groudon no offense but you should train more im a lv74 and my partner is lv70

isnt he a ground type? like y does flame thrower do so much? when mudkip's water gun does like 11?

@AeroSkyx Ground-Fire are neutral. Its Rock types that Fire attacks isn't super-effective on. My Charmander is Level 33, by the way. I trained a LOT on Icy Path.

AND I get a boost from Groudon's Drought. So add that with my level and Charmander's moderate Sp.Atk, and you get a lot of damage. :)

@jammerthehammer11 Your good. Use stab moves. Like Cynda with Flamethrower. Cus Groudon has Drought which raises fire moves.

I've got Skitty, Bulbasaur and Absol, all level 25/26....But my game won't tell me that Blastoise, Octillery and Golem lost so I can't go on? I've waited quite a few game days o_o

@wolf749 Umm, what did you do before you got to the story line of Blastoise Team losing? Did you do the Mankey storyline?

@wolf749 Yes. Umm, i haven't played this game for a while but do you have Magma Caverns? If not, just keep going to the town center, they'll announce that they lost and the town leader will ask for your team to go.

P.S.- Bring a useful Pokemon, not some Seedot lazy ass****. :)

@jasonthemage Ok...I just remembered/realized the Mankeys didn't finish the base, I needed more chestnuts if that's important? That's the only thing I could see holding it up...Thanks though ^^ Would Bulbasaur count as a useful pokemon?

@wolf749 Yea the chestnuts are important if needed to finish the Mankey storyline. :P

Bulbasaur + Bullet Seed = makes the battle easier. Good luck finding the TM or try the local TM market in town. :)

Make sure you got Bulbasaur on attack mode.

I picked up Bullet Seed a while back and put it in storage, just because I wasn't sure what move I should get rid of for it. Right now he's got Tackle, Vine Whip, Razor Leaf and Sleep Powder..I'm kind of thinking Tackle. I keep Bulbasaur in attack mode always, it makes everything easier...Except when he runs away on the map >_>

@NLnaga some people do it at level 20. I just over trained my pokemon at the ice mountain (Where Absol joins you). I mean Charmander can easily handle ice and Pikachu for ice/water types.

Theres no where thats good for you for now. Your about to fight Rayquaza in the sky... where there are a lot of flying types. Get a 3rd pokemon that knows ice/rock/electric attack(s). Or Dragon like Dratini cus Rayquaza was annoying w/ Twister.

@NLnaga Starting a new game when your in the middle of the game is a waste of time. When you finish the main storyline, you'll be able to make ANY pokemon your main pokemon.

That means you can replace Machop and choose the 2~5 other pokemon you'll be wanting to follow you.

P.S.- Its so much funny having 3~4 arons following you. :D

@roerpakei Umm you need to finish the rest of the dungeons before Groudon's dungeon. Like you need to go through Icy Path, meet/fight Moltres, Zapdos, and Articuno, etc first.

Groudon SADLY only has 26 floors. Lugia, Kyogre,etc have 99 floors. No one has 100+ floors. I think Jirachi has 100 or 99, forgot.

23 on the first part, 3 extra on the 2nd. 99 is like for Lugia and Kyogre. Heat Wave and other AeOs are your friend if there is a monster house. :P

No you cannot beat a legendary with tackle... Trust me, with your stats unless you used some max stats cheat, then 2 or 3 tackles will kill a legendary.

Some1 HELP!!!! I got 2 questions

1. i can go to groudons place... can i still train without going there?

2. What lvl is recommened for a totodile and cyndaquail

1. If you have a quest in Groudon's place you cannot leave though, if you do not have a quest then you can train there and leave freely.

2. I would recommend Lv 25+ since Totodile will tear ass and with Groudon's Drought ability Cyndaquil's Fire damage are increased.

The best chance you have is a friend bow. You can get one from a Kecleon store (Stealing it may be hard). I think I have a Wonder Mail for a friend bow. I'll mail it to you.

Umm its in the Volcano: Volcanic Pit. 1 pokemon only in that map, Groudon.

I dont think you need to buy the Volcanic Pit, since I didnt. Just make sure you have a Friend Bow. That helped me ALOT... :]

I suggest you fight Groudon on Lv 25+

i trained my charmander+pikachu to lv 33(bad idea because when it evolves the stats are crap)

But it counts on what team you have too+ moves

fire types(groudon's drought affect)+water types are good against groudon

O yea a 2 person team is articuno+any other pokemon since articuno takes up 3 party spaces. Articuno knows mind reader(moves never miss if used, only once) + Shear Cold(1hit ko move and 30% hit rate without mind reader) ;]

But the game is like, Alakazams team is in the Cavern. I finished the Cavern. No team and I've never seen groudon. When i go through the dungeon and finish it, it still stays the same.

u have 2 beat rayquaza first, then the credits roll and it says 'legendary pokemon have returned 4 battle' or something then u can go fight but hes much stronger
