  • Thank you

  • When we observe the ego and try to deduce its "motivation" for a particular action. How do we know that the reason we choose is not being manipulated by the ego in any manner?

  • @inderb27 try running it by someone safe that you trust

We can delude ourselves, so we need another's input!

  • great !

  • ego my legos!

  • Watch my movie on my channel. There I explain that there is only one way to transcend the ego. By allowing it fully without resistance....just being aware of it and accepting it...then it will go away automatically...do not resist the ego because then it becomes stronger....

  • Ego has no role in our lives. It is an abomination, an interloper, the great impostor. It is a parasite that lives off the energy of the spiritual self. Ego is the thinking that thinks it is us. It is the inner voice that one hears when ego is thinking. We accept ITS identity as US because we don't know any different. It is only possible to unwind from the clutches of ego if one is centered in awareness and can see when ego slips in to play us again thinking IT is unwinding from ego.

  • thanks deepak.....what a simple and beautiful answer!

  • to me, ego's merely a perspective w/wants & desires, in its extreme, it wishes to tear apart that which it does not understand & put it back together. Ego is the polar opposite of spirit likened to a backseat driver during a life experience. Due to this fact, ego is simple to control/manipulate & it isn't so much a tool but a weapon used to pollute the universe within the individual which is where eternal spirit is still, awaiting birth into a higher realm, t/y deepak for giving, piece/peace 2u

  • eye8one2 you sound quite bitter about the ego, as if its the enemy of spirituality or something?

  • thank you :-)

  • Is not the ego a protect 'mechanism', which gives you the opportunity to question your motive, your context, your position in all that you 'choose' to do?

  • To me it doesn't even matter if this evaluation of our nature is true. I can see that living your life this way can only be good. It is not only good for the person living this way but it is also good for all who are near someone who lives this way.

This is simply a beautiful way to think.

    Peace,

    Kevin

    (^_^)

  • This is a wonderful medium to be able to share with everyone. Thank you so much Deepak for your insight. You are always like a breath of fresh air. :)

  • Deepak, I just finished reading Jesus: a story of enlightenment. Great read. Your epilogue sounded like you were reading my mind. I am a devoted Christian saddened by so many members of my faith adhering to crazy old-testament laws that Jesus himself stood against. I hope more people read your book and join the true transformation.

  • one love...

  • YAY... podcasts from DEEPAK!!! :)

  • Aptly put Deepak ji. Thank you. Keep these videos coming please. Warm regards.

  • Supposedly the mind has an automatic built in mechanism to overcome what doesnt serve it, so observing the ego when its playing up makes sense because the mind wont allow it to feel pain if its aware how its created

  • i resonate with your caring, teaching energy, thank you~*

    love & light to all~*

    ps~ i take the vow ;)~*
