@mugglesam, No, we stayed near Gare du Nord. The great thing about Paris is that they have a great metro so it doesn't matter where you stay and if it is nice weather walking is the best, with lots of stops for a wine or coffee ofcourse!

I really want to jump on a plane and just go to Paris!! Where did you stay when you were there? Is is close to the Louvre?
