I am only 30 but as a kid listened to this music and still love the way the banjo and piano talk. My parents use to take us to see the kinsmen when we were kids and still enjoy listening to the group....
You know, I forgot Mark had been with the Kingsmen. He was with some of the biggest quartets in SG during each of their peaks. Kingsmen, Cats and Gold City. What a singer and genuinely nice guy.
The Kingsmen always had a great band to back them .Its a shame that most of the quartets have went to using tracks. I guess its cheaper than paying a band , but I guess I just Old School.
This is the lineup I always liked. I talked to Wayne Maynard the other night and he said Little Ernie hasn't been doing well lately and needs a lot of love.
