This video is the first thing I'd ever seen/heard by Slayer, I saw it on a local cable show in 1999 or 2000, and was just getting into metal. My knowledge of metal was very limited and Metallica was just taking over my life (they're still my favorite band of all time.) So when I watched this, I was absolutely mesmerized. The Raining Blood riff was one of the most amazing things I'd ever heard. About a week later, someone let me borrow Reign in Blood. I've been addicted to thrash ever since.

I think my favourite Slayer show was Clash of the Titans...Anthrax, Megadeth, then Slayer (Alice in Chains opened)...the more the show went on the heavier it got and Slayer just fucking killed!! Outdoor show..There was a flash of lightning/thunder when they started playing and everyone fuckin' freaked out and then you look up and there's Tom Araya's ugly mug in a whirlwind of fog with a green light under his face...fucking everyone had goosebumps man!!
