no disrespect but his # of kills wasgreatly exaggerated. Experts thought it more to be around 5 or so men. But more over he was just a vagrant cattle thief. They say it was the Wild West....but you could probably take out the Wild. I still love western movies espesh. Young Guns.
@TheZowwee no disrespect intended zowwee, but billy is conencted to family and prior to that ive done alot of research, he was not a vargatnt cattle thief, he did do that but when he was a bum, he was the west's freedom fighter against the corrupt santa fe ring, and pleged his gun t the ranchers even though they were friends he could have easier life if he pledged gun to other side, but his honor would not allow, in my view he is a hero with faults.
@hitokiriyahiko2008 I was just sayN you had to really stand like 10 ft. away to hit someone with those peices of shit 6 shooters. it was all exagrated.... sp/grammer.
@TheZowwee once again i respect different views but i don't believe six shooters were pieces of shit either, from what i know, you can stand much farther away with six guns to shoot, but of course that depends if you are a master gunman an marksman which billy was, the six gun is my favorite weapon, i own an use one so, though its caliber ain't as powerful as their's back then were, they had to be skilled back then to use six guns, but i can understand your pov .i believe movie exgarated a bit
@flabluby not to be rude or anything but you don't know that for sure. he screwed so many women that he could have had over a dozen kids as far as we know.
everybody who has an interest in billy the kid as heard or read he was born in new york , so why would bushy bill roberts change that story if it wasnt true plus he changed loads of facts what happened in the kids life , if he was lying he could have stuck to the original history of the kid , governor malbry didnt give him a fair hearing , just think how much money they would lose if it became fact that busgy was the kid , im my eyes he was
@imasoulman01 if you truly research it, it certainly points to the fact that he was. It is the only thing that makes sense when you analyze it... and he was believed to be born in new york, but there has never been any record or evidence to support that... i personally agree with you 100%
Both Young Guns and Young Guns 2 were never given full credit by the critics. Not only are they absorbing Westerns they are also two of the best buddy films of all time. I have lost count the number of times I have watched these films.

My apologies it was Hico Texas where he died. The Book was called Billy The Kid: Life Beyond The Grave written by W.C. Jameson. Its an excellent read and recomend it to any Billy The Kid fanatics. Enjoy.
Actually Billy the Kid died in Waco Texas just before his 91st birthday. Pat Garret shot the wrong kid on that night in Maxwells bedroom, yet billy was still shot across the forehead and was forced to hide out in Fort Sumner for a few days. He disapeared for 70 years living in S. Dakota all the way down in South America. He rode with Buffalo Bills show for awhile. In 1991 the FBI did a photo comparison of The Kid and Willan Henry Roberts and it came back 90 something percent positive.

Anyone know where I can find evidence about Brushy Bill and "Billy the Kid" thats is burried. Who is If Brushy Bill is Billy, then who is in the grave?
man you just missed americas most wanted this morning and they said all about it and they said who was in the grave but i forget. you should watch the show its good
@rozz2656 you're related to billy the kid too? damnation. he was my great great grandpa, just biologically, he never married anyone. I believe that Brush Bill was Billy the Kid because strangely, he shows up as another biological great great grandpa aswell along with billy and the man who married my great great grandma. so either Brush Bill was Billy the Kid or great great grandma was a total whore.
Young guns 2 was based on the novel by William V. Morrison ALIAS BILLY THE KID. Bushy Bill had a great story and there are people who believe Bushy Bill was the Kid, but Bushy Bill was proved to be fraud by Gov Mabry. If you read ALIAS BILLY THE KID, if anyone was guilty of anything it was the powers that be for poor record keeping.
If you really want to read about Billy the Kid, you should read BILLY THE KID: A SHORT AND VIOLENT LIFE by Dr Robert Utley. It is the most accurate story of Billy. Lot's "stories" out there like THE SAGA OF BILLY THE KID by Walter Noble Burns. It's complete rot gut in my opinion.
Billy the Kid is my hero! He had every right to start the Lincon County War...They killed his employer.I would have done the same just like Cat Ballou did when they killed her father!
Chances were Bushy Bill wasn't Billy the Kid, it was said Billy the Kid was literate and spoke Spanish but Bushy Bill could do neither. Still it's good in the movie and it does bring out the question if Billy wasn't cheated out of his pardon. Even today there are people who wonder if he shouldn't have been pardoned.
This was a great vid. I liked the song ur right it did fit. And actually billy the kid was shot but when they turned him over to be buried they found him still breathing, so a women named Isadora took care of him until he was healthy. Then he moved and changed his name to John miller. Anyway good video. I love young guns 1 and 2
I know this becuase since i am a fan of billy the kid i read a book on him called WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BILLY THE KID. And it told me all of these things and more.
this video is AMAZING, one of the best i've seen! EXCELLENT JOB! billy the kid is one of my obsessions, so i love the young guns movies. THANKS FOR MAKING A SUPER VIDEO! ;)
@ManicOne80 actually, he was real, although he wasn't anything in the film like he was in real life. he was bald headed and wore spectacles all the time in real life and co owned a cheese factory with Charlie Bowdre before he decided to work with Tunstall which is where he met Billy. In real life he wasn't a school teacher either and his death in the film was Charlie Bowdre's death in real life. Both he and Chavez died of old age in the mid 1900s.
Doc Holliday was a real person. He was a gunfighter/dentist & a gambler. He was famous for the gunfight at the ok corral in Tombstone, Arizona along with Wyatt Earp and his brothers Morgan & Virgil Earp against clanton & the Mclaury gang
I am not a big western fan but these movies are great, honestly Billy and Doc were my two favorites and good to see Doc was reincarnated into Jack Bauer. Great fan video to a couple of great movies.
The best cowboy movie EVER! Billy the kid aka William H Bonnie lived to be an old man in my book. No one really knows if Pat Garret did kill his best friend. Thats what you call a unsolved history.
Billy the Kid died in my Great Great Great Great Grandfathers house(Pete Maxwell) Billy may also be related to us if Jose Jaramillo's and Paulita Maxwell's kid, Telesfor Jaramillo, is indeed Billy's.
cool my grandpa told me stories that chavez y chavez the indian knife thrower, is our distant cousin, and my great great aunt even dated billy when he would go to puerto de luna new mexico. im not bieng sarcastic. all true.
That's fucking awesome. I wanna visit New Mexico some day. They say there's some old historic building there where you can see bullet holes in the wall from Billy. That would be so cool to see.
that building you are talking about is the Lincoln court house, ive seen it, its at 3:22, and the building he is in at 5:03-5:16 not wat it looks like, but that is kinda wat happened
Wow! It must be really cool to be related to one from Billys heroic posse. I beleive Billy dated your great aunt because he really was known to be a ladies man :) Billy is my idol :D
he song was sang in late 1999 , but the young guns was made years earlier, however bon jovi dedicated a song to the movie called BLAZE OF GLORY check it out. music video is made up of various parts of young guns 2
What is everyones fascination with bon jovi being the music for Young Guns, I get that he had a finger in the soundtrack back in the 80s but man, we have better music now.
I chose Bon Jovi cuz I thought the song would fit well, not cuz he was on the soundtrack. If I had found another song that worked better in my mind I would have chose it :) but at the time I could not find one.
lol like who haha fall out boy. let them know man maybe they can make a new young guns with fall out boy or avril lavigne or maybe even kanye west could do the soundtrack. NOT!!!!!
yeah maybe bon jovi was like pop or whatever back then but at least he makes good music can actually sing live really good and all the guys in his band can outplay all the cocksuckers nowadays.
ummm I hate all those bands actually.. I have no fucking clue where that gay shit came from but.. not from me, I never mentioned them. Maybe you're just upset cause that's what your kids like?.. I don't know, but I sure as fuck don't like any of the bands you just mentioned, next time ask what the fuck one has in mind before making an ass of yourself. To be completely fucking honest, bon jovi is just as popy as those fucking bands.
Omg i love this song! and Billy the Kid i think your video was really good and the song totally fit the video it was really good. what's the song called?
i don't see how people can't find the west exciting sure it was consant danger but thats what made them legends and true men, we don't have that any more and never will so we will never hve that spirit, you have to admire people like billy, awesome video about a legend.
learn my history? k. as i said before he was a murdering theif. poor him for having a hard childhood, you shouldnt let a spin let u justify murder. liked the movie though :)
Billy is a character surrounded by myth and little about his earlier years is not too clear. A thief and murder, certainly but he was among thieves and murderers as well. In fact he was even deputized once during the Lincoln County War, it was this that made his legend though much of it was hyped. This much is certain, he was willing to go through a hail of bullets during a fight and he had away of thinking on his feet particularly when it came to escapes.
that book garret wrote about the kid was a great cover story. i researched this subject in college. it just seems somethings missing from pat garrets story. the movies weren't bad! there something left out but i guess thats just hollywood.
best vid ever made great music to it too....but maybe it would have been bettr if it was The one and only- Chesney Hawkes i dont know but still a great vid great job
The lengend about billy killing 21 men is not true. While he took part in other killings he himself can be credited with only 4. Windy Cahill the first one whoe was beating him up. Second was Joe Grant. The last 2 were J.W. Bell and Bob Olinger in his famous escape from Licoln. When Billy killed Oligner with his own shotgun he was it with something like a quarter pound of lead at a distance of less then 10 feet!! He was also sitting or neeling because the sill was only 2 feel of the floor.
The beauty is this is a true story, What friend shoots a friend in the back? Uh no Pat let him go to mexico

I dont mind hearing your opinion of what happened, however your stating your case as if it is fact. I dont believe anyone has anything other than circumstantual evidence to suggest what actually happened July 14, 1881. If you you have some substantial evidence to prove your case I would be glad to have a look. I believe there are many possiblities of what happened, but at the moment I dont believe Brushy nor the Miller guy is Billy. I believe Billy died that night, but nothings certain.

Billy the Kid died in my Great Great Great Great Grandfathers house(Pete Maxwell) Billy may also be related to us if Jose Jaramillo's and Paulita Maxwell's kid, Telesfor Jaramillo, is indeed Billy's.

cool my grandpa told me stories that chavez y chavez the indian knife thrower, is our distant cousin, and my great great aunt even dated billy when he would go to puerto de luna new mexico. im not bieng sarcastic. all true.
80sheadbanger963 2 years ago 2
That's fucking awesome. I wanna visit New Mexico some day. They say there's some old historic building there where you can see bullet holes in the wall from Billy. That would be so cool to see.
JackPantzMoney 2 years ago
that building you are talking about is the Lincoln court house, ive seen it, its at 3:22, and the building he is in at 5:03-5:16 not wat it looks like, but that is kinda wat happened
80sheadbanger963 2 years ago
Wow! It must be really cool to be related to one from Billys heroic posse. I beleive Billy dated your great aunt because he really was known to be a ladies man :) Billy is my idol :D

@DJ118USMC if you are related to Billy the kid then you are related to me too. he was my great great grandpa.

You can be the best and still get caught with your pants down. ie: take a short stroll to urinate, leaving your pistola on the table.

When billy the kid jumps out the chest is near the end of young guns 1 when the house is on fire and it is surrounded. Hope that helps u.
Debzzee 2 years ago
what part of the movie is when Billy jumps out of chest? And is it 1 or 2 young guns?
lostinseattle4now 2 years ago
he song was sang in late 1999 , but the young guns was made years earlier, however bon jovi dedicated a song to the movie called BLAZE OF GLORY check it out. music video is made up of various parts of young guns 2

Good Job on the Video man. The song fit's perfect.

What is everyones fascination with bon jovi being the music for Young Guns, I get that he had a finger in the soundtrack back in the 80s but man, we have better music now.
ErikVaughnDillinger 3 years ago
I chose Bon Jovi cuz I thought the song would fit well, not cuz he was on the soundtrack. If I had found another song that worked better in my mind I would have chose it :) but at the time I could not find one.
ManicOne80 3 years ago
lol like who haha fall out boy. let them know man maybe they can make a new young guns with fall out boy or avril lavigne or maybe even kanye west could do the soundtrack. NOT!!!!!
yeah maybe bon jovi was like pop or whatever back then but at least he makes good music can actually sing live really good and all the guys in his band can outplay all the cocksuckers nowadays.
rocknroll43211234 3 years ago
ummm I hate all those bands actually.. To be completely fucking honest, bon jovi is just as popy as those fucking bands.

i don't see how people can't find the west exciting sure it was consant danger but thats what made them legends and true men, we don't have that any more and never will so we will never hve that spirit, you have to admire people like billy, awesome video about a legend.
hitokiriyahiko2008 3 years ago
horrible mudering theif to be honest. maybe wyatt earp but not billy. nostalgia for the loss.
ChristianHalovids 3 years ago
Learn your history man. Billy went a bit overboard yes, but he was a victim of circumstance.
djedge40 3 years ago
learn my history? k. as i said before he was a murdering theif. poor him for having a hard childhood, you shouldnt let a spin let u justify murder. liked the movie though :)
ChristianHalovids 3 years ago
Billy is a character surrounded by myth and little about his earlier years is not too clear. A thief and murder, certainly but he was among thieves and murderers as well. In fact he was even deputized once during the Lincoln County War, it was this that made his legend though much of it was hyped. This much is certain, he was willing to go through a hail of bullets during a fight and he had away of thinking on his feet particularly when it came to escapes.

He cut clips from the Young Guns movies.

just a little fact ( during the 1970's billy's grave was dug up and a empty grave they found) makes you wonder if garret really killed him.
tohotxox 3 years ago
I believe that lil fact also contributed to the "brushy bill" legend that was debunked.
djedge40 3 years ago
the whole billy the kid mystery will live forever. im not convinced pat garret killed him.
tohotxox 3 years ago
ye it does make you think i belive it what about you i think he was one of the best people who have ever livedi wish i was like him
GreenFox3000 3 years ago
that book garret wrote about the kid was a great cover story. i researched this subject in college. it just seems somethings missing from pat garrets story. the movies weren't bad! there something left out but i guess thats just hollywood.
tohotxox 3 years ago
i think he was not killed by pat billy was the best what do you think

The lengend about billy killing 21 men is not true. While he took part in other killings he himself can be credited with only 4. Windy Cahill the first one whoe was beating him up. Second was Joe Grant. The last 2 were J.W. Bell and Bob Olinger in his famous escape from Licoln. When Billy killed Oligner with his own shotgun he was it with something like a quarter pound of lead at a distance of less then 10 feet!! He was also sitting or neeling because the sill was only 2 feel of the floor.
ericpieper69 3 years ago
10 feet??????? wat are u smokin???????????? bob was on the street and billy was on the 2nd floor
