Mace gun wins hands down for me after seeing this demo! Jet Protector might be perfect for special police forces, bu certainly not for aiming-morons such as myself. Thank you, you really cleared my doubts!!!!

@158057 Yeah, her shots are so slanted... I don't know if she's aiming at the target or the sky. She was aiming at the ground once... It looks like she's just looking at the target and not focusing on where the gun is pointing... Does she believe the spray is going to curve down in a short distance like dollar store water pistols? It seems to me the mace gun (the first one) hits more surface area and can be used for more than one or two attackers if needed... but the jet looks badass >.> idk which to get.

@ThemeForAJackal138 Well, this demonstration showed me that women shouldn't get the 2 shot spray guns, but should rather get the stream spray guns instead. That way even if you miss horribly you can readjust quick. With the other guns, if you're a bad shot, the gun is just useless.

well,yep...... it hurts that bad and worse from my experiance messing with testing out a kubotan filled with "heat" brand oc at 10%, kubotan 30 something dollars, refill about 7 dollars, me getting sprayed at less than a foot away on surprise and seeing my reaction after i hit the ground and start hitting it repeatedley with my hand praying for pain releif (took it with the eyes open and it sprayed with so much force it was pushing my eyeball back into my skull about a few centimeters) pricless

This is another great demonstration. Just came from another guys page on the gun. And this confirms my buy! It seemed like the Mace gun was the most accurate and easy to use of al the guns shown here. Like a poster said earlier, I have one in my car, but may get another one for my ankle. I never thoght of that before, I don;t like anything on my belt. Thanks for the recommendation! I saw earlier this week that Mace has the guns on sale for $50. That's a hell of a deal, I bought mine for $80.

Thanks for the demo - this is really invaluable information for someone who is thinking of buying one of these.

To me, the mace gun seemed like you had the most time (and fluid) to "get it right"... If you didn't hit the target right away, you had time to recover before it ran out.

Is that the one you recommend?

If you're referring to the mace gun, I think those are pretty wide-spread. Why don't you try google or something?

I have found the Guardian ANgel very accuarate. It is better than a fog that can blow in the wind or a stream that can be dodged. This product is also extremely hot.

The JPX Jet Protector wasn't half bad. Being that I have pistol experience and am a bigger guy, it seems like it would fit my hands better. How many shots can you take with the JPX Jet Protector?

Plur, I think you might be missing the point. The point is probably to demonstrate which would work best for your average woman. Your average woman is probably not going to be a very good shot, particularly if she is scared to death because some weirdo is coming after her.

That is why you get the pepper spray guns built by Kimber. They have 2 shots that send a super concentrated burst of pepper spray out a very fast speeds and have a laser sight. It literally embeds the pepper spray into the person's face instead of just squirting it on them.

If a person can't use a laser sight, even in a state of panic, then they are officially retarded...

Yes Mrs. Dirt E Harry is using the practice water cartridges and it was the very first time that she ever shot the Mace Gun so you are right it did not take her long to "get it right." I carry the Mace Gun in an ankle holster- I never leave home without it. Also, there is one by the front door, one by the bed and one in each car just waiting for some "Punkk!!"
