Now to the person who said her album sales are failing don't have a clue....b4 hard candy....her last album sold about 12 million....that's pretty damn good..now hard candy sold about 4 million ....still good...and madonna has been around blacks hell she dated tupac for a min and Dennis rodman and a few other basketball ball players...and her albums such as erotica and bedtime stories were heavily influenced by soul and r&b

I disagree. The BET audience does not care about age. It embrace michael Jackson and he and Madonna were the same age second. She was 'icey" because the questiones were so lame. I mean if you have a n interview with Madonna be prepared and ask real questions dont bore the poor woman. it was painful to watch. I mean they came across as amateurs. I would have been annoyed too.

Yeah, I think it was rather cool of her and her PR to get her onto the show, after she was channeling a whole 'nother different audience with her record. And I loved what she wore :D.

Dude i'm just now finding out about this.. Madonna being on 106th. I wish i could see the interview they did, but Madonna does feed off controversy and hostility. She seems like an attention seeker. I'm sure she's not familiar with Hip Hop but having Justin Timberlake and Timbaland around they might introduce some of their CD's to her. Personally i'm not a fan. but her music back then was do-able.

Let's be honest... Madonna started out w/alot of people thinking that she was black and a somewhat black sound, but she has obviously moved on to a pop sound. I think that she knows that her sales are falling( and they are) that she has to try something new. The woman is too old to connect w/that audience or even the audience on TRL. Madonna is now strictly Vh1.

I seriously doubt people care about Madonna's age since she's probably in better shape than most of the teenage audience on that show. LOL. In regards of her being white, I think that overall America needs to give her a break on this album, as this is not her first time being around black people. I agree with your overall points, but may be overanalyzing a tad bit. But, you and skorpions should be hosting 106 & park. :)
