Thanks for the warning. I was gonna get a pair coz I'm sick of how easily the premium wheat waterproofs get dirty/stained/faded, but if they're gonna crack like that then fuck it. You can't win, really. Tims just don't stay looking good, full stop
Tims are like Air Force 1s - they stay 100% solid for years but (at least in light colours) but they don't stay looking fresh as long. But hell, at least they don't fall to bits in a few months like bullshit Converse
They will eventually crack yes. Does not matter how well you take care of them. The scuff proof material is nice but it does not last. Stick with the regular waterproof 6" or the premium waterproof 6"
no i got them from a Timberland Outlet store... i paid $119.99us last year.. their great boots, and i think i ruined them by cleaning them with harsh detergents.... im gonna get another pair...

Scuff proof timbs will crack over a period of time so buy the regular waterproof or premium waterproof timbs next time.
