this sucks cause its been done and plus where are the other VERY useful sensors

color sensor, sound sensor, light sensor, and lamp

it would make it much coooler

adding a 3rd action motor like a shooter arm would make it look like a battle tank or some crap like that. I give you credit for the trangilur tread thing

that was my first one too. but you can program it smarter so that the bot can decide which direction to take if you let it compare the distance to right/left. so it can choose best way around object instead of "simply" turn left.

btw: where are that orange parts from? only in nxt 1.0?

When I got my Mind storm I was only 9 years old. I had no trouble with making a moving Robot that moved around my room without crashing into anything. I'm 13 now and i'm trying to make a gun than will shoot tin foil, Lego bricks, etc...

If it will be a success i'l make a video of it.

Awsome Robot Dylanbut, here are some additions to the amazing code: First of all i should be telling you this in person cause your sitting right beside me but whatever. Second iwould say put the touch sensors on the sites of the robot and have the robot turn one way. If the robot hits something on one of the sensors then if the robot hits something as he is turning he will turn the other way. For gaps the robot should have a sensor ahead of it pointingdown it sees nothing: it backs up then turns
