one think it's that he wants to play football, another one he did cry in the retirement press conference, what a lier, just tell the fans, I want to keep playing football, i leave green bay with the ebst memories, but I want to play football!! but he didn't...he said...this is the end!!!
i went ahead and made a video response featuring my fave qb of my team, the Kansas City Chiefs in Trent Green looking back on his glory days with the Chiefs......i had it as a video response to this video cuz this vid inspired me to make it....i used the same song too....thnx bro.
football without favre will never be the same again:oso enjoy maybe again:P the last moment of glory of the best qb in the nfl history. we believe in Favre
Congrats #4 on beating all NFL teams!! Quite an accomplishment!!! Still love you!!! You gave me some of the best football i'll prob. ever see!! Why can't people see this? Your truly a legend no matter what color your wearing!
It took me a while but I certainly appreciate once again all the great sundays he has givin me. Brett will definitely go down as one of if not the best in NFL history. Thanks for the comment.
@Nbart730 I can appreciate him as a football player, he was one of the best, but really he sucks as a person and all this drama he has been adding to the NFL. He should listen to this song, it's time to leave, and while you're retired Brett learn to read maybe one day you'll pronounce your own last name correctly.
I was a big fan of Favres, obvious by this video but man to go to Minny really burns my ass. Hopefully time will help me to remember the good times he brought to Green Bay. Thanks for droppin by.
brett favre can play as long as he wants and come back as many times as he wants, he's earned that right. The man loves football...its what he was born to do. He is going to play until he cant possibly do it anymore and people have to be at peace with that. Those who dont understand have not had the honor of having a job they love so much that it completes them as a person and they aren't whole anymore when they walk away. I will always cheer for #4
Thanks for the video! Here I have my 2 favorite men Brett Favre and Bob Seger! I've watched this at least 20 times since I found it last week! LOVE IT!!!!
I am like you Rod, a sports fan purist. The great athletes, the "purist" they just can't up and walk away (Micheal Jordan) but time eventually tells them otherwise. let them put it all out there as long as they can... it is what they do.
Thanks GT, what a heartbreaking championship game that was. Brett gave us a lot of good years and a lot of hope. I know last year was a fiasco, I wanted him to do well in NY but I now wish he woulda just stayed retired. Thanks again man.
Ted Thompson did not beg him to come back, and he should not have, but he did in his own way push him out the door. Its all over now though and time to move ahead. He will retire a Packer I think, I sure hope so anyway. Football is a tough business.
I agree, and even more importantly he will always be a Packer in the hearts of his true fans. Good luck to Mr. Rodgers and the new Pack. Thanks for watching ChicagoPackerchick4.
maybe brett got tired of playing with the packers.but idk maybe he wants to retire at a different team. he started out with the falcons and played there for a season, went to the packers for 16 season and wants to retire at the jets. i guess only time will tell.
I believe Brett will retire a Packer. This whole thing was a big mess but he wanted to play again and he is. I watched an interview with him after the trade. He still conciders himself a Packer and always will. Thanks for watching.
Here the deal now. The Packers are going to suck and Brett Favre is going to have a all star year but not make the superbowl. Favre should od stayed retired or come back to Green Bay. I he is still my favorite Quarterback
ill be a pack fan no doubt but im not gonna root for them i might watch the jets i say favre will be a good QB there i think hes in a good place. if rodgers gets hurt which im hoping tehn they wish they never traded brett pece ike.
I understand what your saying Ike but for me the reason I am a Pack fan is because of Brett and I still must root for them,I do wish however that we could play the Jets just so Brett could put a whippin on TT and MM,however I will still root for Donald Driver and the rest of the players I have come to love watching on sundays. I am very angry at the front office but the team. I wish the best for Favre because god knows he deserves it. My vid shows my loyalty to Brett.
How can you blame the Packers for what happened? If I quit my job and they hire someone else I cannot go back and get my job back. They moved on, it's that simple. He played his attention game and lost. If he wants to be a big baby lets see what happens when he throws an interception to lose a game in New York, they will boo him off the field. Thats what he deserves for putting himself over the team.
But if you are forced out, which seems to be the case, then the organization handled it wrong. To offer him 20 million to stay retired also speaks volumes. As far as attention, if thats what the fans give him then so be it. Its not any different for any other outstanding athlete. Also without the ints, you don't achieve all that he has.
Anyway, thanks for watching and your opinion on this issue. I am moving on and watching the team I have been watching for years, and wish them the best.
I believe Teds time in Green Bay will depend how Rodgers does, and if Favre does good in New York he will also be run out of GB. I will always be a Pack fan but not nessesarily a fan of the head honchos. I am now a Jets fan also. I pick an AFC team every year to root for, this year was easy with Brett over there.
yeah but at least arron learned and studied brett.we can only hope that arron can do as good as brett did.brett will never be forgotin. and if he goes to a new team then i will have to favorite teams.
i cant see brett going to any other team besides green bay. it just wouldnt seem right. seeing brett in a new uniform after 16 seasons with the packers.
I agree, it totally bites. He won't be back though, not the way he got treated and I for one don't blame him. I am a Packer fan 4-ever but kinda pissed about the way this situation was handled. Rodgers better perform or even those that didn't care about Brett leaving will be pissed also. Thanks for watching.
Well thanks for that great comment. I think we need to trade him for another great player. I don't think we will be happy in Green Bay any longer. It certainly is a mess.
I can't believe they said he can come back as a back up. He should have been told he can come back but will have to compete for starting possition. I believe any team in the NFL absolutely has to play the best person in its possition as the starter. Thanks for watching.
this guy has been a packer since i was born, and i have been watching and admiring him since i was a yr old. even though i'm a raven fan, before they were a even a team there was brett. watching him anounce his retirement choked me up too. sundays will never be the same.
i also saw his speech about his retirement i cried too hes probaly in the hall of fame i really hope all he wanted is to get to the super ball i feel bad for him:(
Where's the playoff game he threw 6 picks in? What a bunch of overdramatized BS. Typical Favre crap. All the packer fans can watch this and cry as the pack gets annilated this season.
If I'M a fan of Favre and the Pack why would I put the bad times in the tribute vid? These types of vids historically show the good things done. Annialated...I doubt it. So your saying Favre is no good one second and the next they will get annialated because he is gone...Wow, get a clue. You must be a fan of a team he has owned for the past 16 years. lmao
If he does, he does, god knows they need a QB in Minn. I bet the fans would quit bashing him then wouldn't they. But it seems Minn. was talking to him when they were not supposed to. Now there under investigation. I smell more trouble in Minny..

yeas as you know i am an avid bears fan and not much of a football afficienado at that. i know this guy was great tho and you guys should be proud of him. i was proud of gayle sayers and walter peyton. we all love our "heros" dont we? lol thanx rod.
Yes we do Dotty, and I have great respect for the 2 you mentioned and a lot of others that make this game the greatest ever played. Have a great evening...Rod
You are welcome. Thank YOU for watching my video tribute on this amazing human being. I agree, he will definitely be missed by all. Read 3 comments down from the Bears fan. Take care...Rod
PS. Love the screen name...80driverpackers... Another class act.
ok i hate the packers i am a avid chicago bears fan and i hated this man becase for years i watched him disect our secondary but something happened when he retired i relized it wont be the same without this man throwing the ball and i am realy gona miss him and in some ways i wish he would come back thanks for all the great memories even though u were a packer
Thanks sicfixx777, happy to see the fans from other teams give Brett his due, the sign of a true sportsman. I love the Pack but I also love the game and am amazed at some of the talent that comes through the league. I root for my team always as any fan should but i give credit to the greats of the game, like Walter Payton,Barry Sanders, Dan Marino,Bradshaw,Montana,Elway and a bunch of others. Good luck to your team in the upcoming season. Take care and thanks again for watching...Rod
WOW, this tribute is amazing. I couldnt help but shed a tear. Favre is my hero and will never be forgotton. Thanks Rod, it means alot to me that people care about this incredible person and athlete as much as i do.
Well, thank you very much 2573440 for your very kind comment. I can honestly say that football will always be my favorite sport but it will now be missing a big part of why i watch it. Brett made me a Packer fan for life, and also turned me into a football fanatic. He certainly was a great player and person. Peace..Rod
Well thank you very much, your comment is much appreciated. The face of football has changed with the retirement of this great human being. Hard to imagine the Pack without Brett. A great week to ya...Peace...Rod
He was the best quarterback ever. Tarkenton was good and always made me believe we could win even if there were only two minutes left in the game, but Brett had the most heart and enthusiasm. Most definitely!!
Yes we will, this was a classy player and man in a sport that has recruited so many players that seem to think they are above everybody. Thank you for watching...have a great weekend.
Yeah it was quite a shock to all of us #4 fans. The face of football has changed. Funny, Brett also got me into football more than i was, and changed me from a Rams fan to a Packer fan. I will be a Pack fan 4 life now.
Great Video I will miss Brett Favre the Greatest Iron Man QB in NFL History with 275 striaght game play. Brett was fun too watch for 17 years. Next Exit Hall Of Fame.

I just wonder how many fans of the Packers were in shock when Brett announced he was done.
My son drove a packers fan bus here in Wisconsin for the home games. This was an AWESOME Tribute to Brett. He will be missed. (5*) Sherry

sicfixx777 3 years ago
Thanks sicfixx777, happy to see the fans from other teams give Brett his due, the sign of a true sportsman. I love the Pack but I also love the game and am amazed at some of the talent that comes through the league. I root for my team always as any fan should but i give credit to the greats of the game, like Walter Payton,Barry Sanders, Dan Marino,Bradshaw,Montana,Elway and a bunch of others. Good luck to your team in the upcoming season. Take care and thanks again for watching...Rod

Well, thank you very much 2573440 for your very kind comment. I can honestly say that football will always be my favorite sport but it will now be missing a big part of why i watch it. Brett made me a Packer fan for life, and also turned me into a football fanatic. He certainly was a great player and person. Peace..Rod

He was the best quarterback ever. Tarkenton was good and always made me believe we could win even if there were only two minutes left in the game, but Brett had the most heart and enthusiasm. Most definitely!!
