OH carl :( if only you knew that we HAVE in fact cracked the human genome and our knowledge of what connections do what have already been studied well. WE NEED YOU CARL! :( come back
Great stuff. Sagan was truly one of the great minds of our age. I always revel in revisiting his work on Cosmos. Thanks Carl, y gracias senor para esto, for putting it up.

I had the honor to work with Dr. Khare at NASA Ames in 2004. He shared the times he worked with Dr. Sagan. He is still working on the Saturn Cassini project when we last talked.
It is an update - 2005. The end of this episode actually has some commentary from an obviously older Sagan with some updates on the science that's been done since the original airing.
This production It is a wonderful work. Carl Sagan and his Cosmo team made this a very clear, graphic and beutiful explanation. It makes me love science, get amazed. Who says that science is boring
I agree, they did realy good job. What I find respecable is that they didn't preach, but let you deside for your self and put a hint of drame in too it. ^_^

For UK viewers, I think the "Trees" piece was filmed at Stonor Park in the Chilterns
