Wow. Pat Buchanan is an ass. Hey, ass. We don't need a legal proscription against waterboarding. We have one. It's called the Eighth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution, Dipshit. It's also settled law that torture is cruel and unusual punishment and is a violation of the Eighth Amendment (See Wilkerson v. Utah, 1879).

Buchanan pretends that legal precedent can be ignored and that there is somehow ambiguity that only congress can resolve through a specific la. Total GOP talkingpoints noise. Japanese soldiers were convicted of using the 'water cure' against US POWs. This nonsense about the need for a new law is an insult to logic and plays on the MSM need for creating two sides to every story.
