The Saturn was better for 2D, the PS for 3D and if the Saturn was so great, why did it fail? Hardware has EVERYTHING to do with how something works, play a computer game with the best components and then play it on a weak computer if what you say is true.

no it's a remake of Castlevania:Rondo of Blood and the sprites in the original were reused several times in the franchise since and this game comes with remastered versions of the original and it's sequel Symphony of the Night

This is a remake of Dracula X: Chi no Rondo, which takes place 5 years prior to Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. Chi no Rondo was also created prior to SOTN (1993 for Rondo, 1997 for SOTN).

This is where all the sprites came from, not SOTN. Please get your facts straight, thank you.

No, not really. When I played Dracula X the first time, I actually managed to die in the fight. :D

But yeah, it's definitely the easiest boss fight in the game.

The hardware had nothing to do with the game, and if it did, then the Saturn is quite a bit more powerful than the PSX and it should've been better in every way. The division in Konami that did the port to the Saturn just sucked.

Castlevania legacy of darkness would be a good remake for psp but I hear that konami is planing a new game with Richter as the protaganist taking place after symphony of the night and the plot being how the vampire killer whip went from the Belmont family to the Morris family for psp

They didn't butcher the song, it's as close to the original version as I've heard. The original version was just titled "Bloodlines". "Blood Relations" was the boss fight remix for SOTN, and "Opposing Bloodlines" was the further remix for the handheld games.

Blood Relations for SOTN... and Bloodlines Bequeathed for POR... anyways... try this out... play the original Opposing Bloodlines for rondo over this new remix... this one has a nice bassline and intro that will fit very well with the old melody...
