Russell & Rutherford both taught that Jesus Christ came to Kingdom rule in 1874, & not in 1914.See Zions Watchtower 1874. When Russell’s prophesy failed in 1874, Zion’s Watchtower of Oct / Nov 1881.said that Christ came invisibly. In His book Salvation written in 1926 Rutherford also said that Christ’s return was in 1874. The date was later changed to 1914.

Good stuff! Being that we are persecuted for being slaves of Jehovah only show that we are doing right by Him and are on the right track.
