  • I can actually hear "wub wub wub wub wub" in this tune. XDDD

    that's awesome. true dubstep

  • Why do people hate on Skrillex so much? Just because he's really mainstream doesnt mean jack shit, he makes quality product and pushes the envelope on the barriers and possibilities of Dubstep and Electro House in a way that works insanely well for him. So what if his music's not incredibly underground, chill, or minimal. It's still good and has its own merits abd good qualities

  • @XTheOverseer people hate on skrillex A) because the actual DUBSTEP parts of his songs have very little bass or wobbling, sounds more like random electronic noises spliced too closely together. B) because people that never listened to dstep while it was underground now have the wrong impression cause that is NOT TRUE DUBSTEP C) he is a scrawny little weird looking goblin motherfucker D) because its MAINSTREAM, and as anyone with taste knows, all mainstream and radio music is fucking shit. IMO

  • This has got to be the only skream tune that i think is pretty shite..

  • Back when Skream actually put effort into his music. I miss this so so much.

  • @GordenBrown3D Cor, Gordon, you get around!

  • @SouthernLights10

Tell me about it mate...nout to do when you're not in power!

  • Youtube arguements are srs bizness.

  • 240p for safety reasons.

  • no one can say whether this track is dubstep or not, because the genre is too diverse. it's clear that dubstep came from the two-step sound with a more minimalistic approach (bass or no bass).

even the original founder's can't define the sound, because there's so many styles now - but it's a bit daft to say this isn't dubstep, considering it was made by skream. if it remotely relates to dubstep and an artist says it is, who are we to argue?

  • @MrCurtyL you gotta listen to the dub in dubstep...two-step like you say pretty much..but yeah dubstep has its own types and styles of course...just like any genre of music does...this is defenitely dubstep though..the best kind.

  • Hey dumbshit . Dubstep was around before they started using oscillators to wobble. Do some research before you act a fool.

  • @metallicajoshk hey genius! you need to click the reply button, smart!

and WRONG, dubstep as itself was born cause of the wobble, you're thinking about the filth, it doesn't have to be filthy to be Dubstep, old school its chill, but it needs some wobble, before the wobble it wasn't even called dubstep, it doesn't have anything to do with the name but its a before and after the wobble, so kid, if you don't know anything about it, don't reply, or you'll look like a fool ;) mk? good.

  • seriously, i've been listeing to dubstep since 2006 and garage since i can remember, and from 00:00 to 03:00 you CAN'T call this dubstep, even if this is by one of the dubstep fathers, skrillex has brostep all right, but he also has some great fucking dirty evolved PURE dubstep songs, what's wrong with dubstep being a little mainstream? that's how drumstep was born. it generates more competition more creatitivity, some crap too yeah, but its up to you what to listen isn't it?

    kids.

  • @gaspar30 Dubstep doesn't need wobbles, idiot. This song is dubstep.

  • @stickerbrush827 are you stupid? Dubstep is based in LFOs and Oscillations, that's what dubstep is, seriously? did you even dare to reply?

you don't know what dubstep is, stay away from it kid!

  • @gaspar30 trolololo

  • @stickerbrush827 yeah, whatever kid, just stay away from dubstep.

  • @gaspar30 olololort

  • @stickerbrush827 just chill out ok? no need to get defensive.

  • @gaspar30 It is dubstep. Dubstep doiesn't need wobbles it doesnt need to be flashy or anything. Its grimey dubstep.

  • @NerdstatuZ i'm not talking about wobbles, from 00:00 to 03:00 could be dubstep, or hiphop. you don't need to school me about dubstep. i disagree, the 1st 3 minutes are not dubstep.

  • @gaspar30 I guess you could see it that way. I actually like that part a lot though.

  • @NerdstatuZ oh i love this song, its almost evil :O

  • @gaspar30 I'm in love with grimey dubstep haha

  • Wobble =/= dubstep

  • Pretty good song. The only thing I missed was the bass! Where's the wobble?? This sounds more like DNB to me.. 4/10

  • @tharagonn You're an idiot.

  • @BIaZennnnnnnN

    Why? =\

  • @tharagonn DNB... how is this DNB?!?!

  • @DieRoteRatte Skream is what dubstep should sound like. Heavy Sub Bass<3

  • this ain´t dubstep

  • @DieRoteRatte Tard. :/

  • brostep is pretty dope on occasions.

but i always prefer that true shit.

    OG's over wobbles.

  • @Reptar9528 Implying that Skream is brostep? I hope not, he is part of the Dubstep Canon imo.

  • @FrozenAfrican no im just saying brostep is alright but i prefer "true shit" like this.:P

  • Comment removed

  • it isn't boring at all...go to a club and listen to it there....

  • I respect all the original dubstep artist for being pioneers in the genre but straight up this shit gets B O R I N G,

    But thats just my opinion.

  • @GroovyLoveBirds nail on the head

  • fuck dis tune rox ( FUCK MAINSTREAM DUBSTEP!)

  • skream is so classic..

  • Who cares if he's really Skream or not, we like this music and thats why we are here right?

  • so who likes skrillex? lol.

  • yawn (facepalm) why? this shit is way too boring and repetitive like every other Scream track (spelled wrong on purpose)

  • @clutchmc22

Well contrary to what most people might think about repetitive music being boring, repetition is the most primitive form of self relaxation, meditation and relaxation.

I do not listen to Skream to get hyped up nor do I listen it when I'm sniffing a shitload of drugs, I listen to it when I want to enjoy a relaxing, hypnotizing piece of auditive art.

When I want to act like a mongoloid and dance like I don't posses a brain, I listen to Filth or other commercial shite

    j/k, fuk filth

  • @Xhaosz

Of course I did not mean to say 'relaxation' twice, but then again, repetition is good.

  • @clutchmc22 You, my friend, need to shut up and get back to listening to your brostep.

  • skream numero uno bitches

  • so dope

  • Man Skream you are the man!

No other DJ is dirtier than the man! And that man is Skream!

    What a tune!

  • not dirty enough but like it

  • @brosseadent dirty does not mean good

  • This is one of the first ever produced dubstep tracks .. how can people cuss this? If it wasn't for producers like skream, Benga, Coki, DMZ... we most likely wouldn't have the dubstep scene we have today.

  • gets boring after the 3min mark

  • Its so funny people are dissing this track...i made it 3/4 years ago when none of youy even knew what dubstep was hahahaha

  • @SkreamOfficial yeh but is the cucumber a herb?

  • @oOoGANJAMANoOo did somebody asked you or anybody, when have you started listening to dubstep?

skream just stated the fact that most people think dubstep is just all about drops, wobble, crazy filthy shit etc.

I have to admit, I heard Caspa's "Africa VIP " and I didn't give a damn, tought it was some kind of shit, and guess what, dubstep became my favourite music genre

  • @k0valik people like dubstep for various reasons =] DUBSTEP RULES!

  • @k0valik u best back da fuk up , i wer showing respect , bin listening 2 dubstep 4a few years now u prik

  • @SkreamOfficial Well, I listen to dubstep since December 2006

  • @SkreamOfficial hahahaha for real

  • @SkreamOfficial True shit lol

  • @SkreamOfficial an its also so funny how people who didnt know what dubstep was a year ago are smackin out better tunes then you ever have.

  • @mozadubstep whoah bro. you kinda oversteppin your hand alittle. skream is and will always be one of the engineers of the sound and none of these new artists can touch him or his sound. ol' school dubstep IS real dubstep

  • @EPIK562 oh and dont we just know it, i have no time for people who think they deserve respect cause they made a couple big tunes. He didnt create the way our ears hear music mate it was bound to come along some day hes not the creator of a low bass ocillating, we shud thank the fucking people who created that! do we thank scream for music itself.. no.. we thank him for his tunes his made and to no longer bang on bout how people didnt know about 'dubstep' or how he brung it to peoples ears.

  • @mozadubstep yah, no shit sherlock we thank him for his tunes and his contribution to music and for helping engineer the sound of dubstep. skream along with many other producers inspired recent dubstep producers. so dont day that these newbies create bigger tracks than skream ever will, that just arrogant.

  • @EPIK562 fukin idiottttt LOL i can gurantee you that THESE DAYS people will have heard of skream but more of rusko and caspa. i know skream has sick tunes i am a fan myself but for someone to bang on the way he does aint needed pisses me off. theres people who deserve more fucking recognition n hes always fallin back on how he 'created' dubstep.. how u think i ended up on this tune? cause i like skreams vibe n yet once again i see a comment from him about how we wudnt know dubstep widout him..

  • @mozadubstep u mad?

  • @mozadubstep seriously dude? I believe that what you think is dubstep is what really is called popstep. At least that's what I call it. See popstep is what modern dubstep has become. a bunch of remixes of pop music and club music with a bit of half-step and some low bass oscillation... Why that? oh... it's because the artists wants to reach out to the mainstream population... it creates a bunch of retards that wants to listen to their favorite song with the popular "wobble"... This is dubstep.

  • @zintex8 hold on mate, your telling me what i believe dubstep is... LOL ive been producing for 7 years trust me mate ive been around i know exactly what dubstep is. ive never pushed it to a level where id start puttin my stuff out cause its a hobbie, there is stuff on youtube tho. maybe one day youll see for yourself just remember this name yea.. n btw this tune aint fucking dubstep lolloololol, this is just a compilation of shit with a lil wobble in it. dubstep has dub reggae roots, i hear none

  • @mozadubstep dubstep also has hip-hop and DnB roots which you seem to forget. I could say I had produced for 8 years now to make my arguments but I can't prove it and no it's not true either. My point is you don't have anything to hold your arguments in. I've heard a lot of different dubstep. some immitate the sounds of a printer, some are inspired by raggae, some use faster beats and some just kinda try to make the sounds as scary as possible... you seem like you don't know shit about it.

  • @zintex8 i vote you up on this mate cause its partially true, but then you spring up another argument, if dubstep is this versatile then why are we even labelling it as its own genre..? why dont we just take the dub out of dubstep everytime is loses is dub/reggae roots because i certainly know that drum n bass always has drums and bass. correct me if im wrong but i think my comment is fair..

  • @mozadubstep yeah it seems fair. I guess it's because of the way dubstep evolved. you know by using 2-step and half-step beats and putting some raggae/dub on with a little "wobble". I believe that other artists then thought it was great but wanted to replace the dub/reggae with hip-hop/DnB and thereby it all became dubstep. It's too late to change that. you know how Borgore fans wants HIS style to be called "gorestep" and that's just silly... we would end up with "Ruskostep" at some point...

  • @zintex8 it is pure bollox, the only people keeping it dubsteppy enough for me these days is doctor p, trolley snatcha, flux pavillion, caspa, rusko. just a few names. my original beef wid skream is how he bangs how he created it all, he didnt create nothin. goes on like people should worship him or owe him.

  • @mozadubstep he was one of the first people to make dubstep

  • @wottafella an dont we just know it mate.

  • @mozadubstep skream is one of the o.g.s if u chirp his shit than get the fuckn dubstep out of ur name u bandwagon riding bitch. Go listen to ur fuckn generic wobble fuckn chrispy remixes and let people with good taste enjoy actual dubstep. Those bitches u say keep it "dubsteppy enough for ya" haha, r the ones who r ruining the genre.

  • @StreetvibeDnB mate not everyone thinks of skream as the "creator" alot of people are into dubstep because of caspa and rusko, an what about benga!?!? i dont think im riding any bandwagon but whichever i am i know i chose the right artists to listen to in the first place ;) skream is jus a notch on the table compared to some people. Skream also isnt just known for his dubstep mate. N no, chrispys beats are weak lol. i dnt think 2 mil views for a new artist compared to skream is ruining it lol.

  • @mozadubstep you don't know shit.

  • @zintex8 thankyou. finally someone with a brain and a sense for what dubstep really is.

  • @zintex8 Just an FYI, it's "Brostep". I like popstep too haha. What humors me is those catching onto the scene and ruining it, hear those songs (datsik, excision, mt. eden, etc) and talk about how 'heavy' the drops are. Funny thing is, the bass in that style of song doesn't begin to compete with a song of this caliber. The 'womp' they hear deviated from the rolling basslines of dubstep, only it's in the mid/highs and distorted as fuck (skrillex is a perfect example). Oh well, BRING DA' BASS!!!

  • @malaki9332 to be honest excision/ datsik are pretty good at what they do (basically aggressive dubstep). skrillex is a whole different genre. as for 'brostep', it's just gay.

  • @zombifiedcarrot Wouldn't you consider excision/datsik brostep as well? Even if it is aggressive...brostep. If not, then why? The reason I ask is I would consider most tracks that focus on the mid-range bass and blow it all to hell as brostep. I typed 'brostep' into youtube and watch the first video result. Rusko phrases the problem very well IMHO. I think what's also not addressed is the new culture brostep is bringing with it, but I'll digress there.

  • @zintex8 hell yes!!! youve explained what ive been feeling haha

  • @DuhtyDubstep how did u guess :( lol dikhead.. ur comments r gas mate, im entitled to air my opinion without dickheads like u poppin up n sayin shit. its called freedom of fucking speech. im not the only person with this opinion either.

  • @mozadubstep Your opinion is invalid! BooYeah! - Skream > your selected dubsteppers! Btw, I've done a fart. Much love. x

  • @noahlankford1 hell yeah that fuckers under the bridge fuck him.

  • @noahlankford1 lol your a retard it is skream

  • @FixxaDubstep Ok explain to me why 1) Hes never linked it from his Facebook, 2) why a multimillion musician would only have a max 6,000 veiws, and 3 videos. 3) why all his cover art are just bad photobooth pics, 4) why this video had 100,000, others have 1,000,000 and his only have 4,000. And why there are no music videos, his page has a shitty Google image background, and bad theme editing, and why there is no mention of his account ANYWHERE but here. Yeah I'm the retard.

  • @noahlankford1 your wrong, he linked it on twitter and it has tunes on there that only have been heard live and on that channel. they're unsigned tunes that skream has released himself. stop getting so hyped up mate its just a youtube channel

  • @noahlankford1 fixxadustep actually has a point. not all music has to have a video and this song could just be an unsigned single so calm down and enjoy it, if you dont then dont bother listening to it

  • @noahlankford1 Wow fool your a fag haha

  • @SkreamOfficial hell yea man fuck the haters i didnt know what dubstep was three years ago but its progressed now and it has gotten better but this right here is the classic dubstep the original shit ...
