The most common type of skin psoriasis is plaque psoriasis. The skin is red and covered with grey or silver scales and is inflamed. Also patches of circular to oval shaped red plaque that are itchy or burn are typical of plaque psoriasis. Normally the patches are found on the elbows and knees, but may be found on any part of the skin. Psoriasis can be inherited but is not contagious. The American Institute of Advanced Medicine has more information and treatment to eliminate your psoriasis.
I've had it before, but never like this year. I've had luck by washing, drying real good, then useTripple Antibiotic ointment. I think shaving too close to the corners of my mouth brings it on.
Dave, eat more animal fat and protein(think fatty beef and eggs, for example) and reduce your consumption of sugars and acids, whether in fruits, soft drinks, or other. It's a matter of balance. Basic stuff. It's due to diet.
i read somewhere that people use yeast infection ointment like monistat and that clears it up. Mine just formed like a week ago and i've tried everything but the monistat. i had no idea Angular Cheilitis even existed, unfortunately, i do now. and it sucks
@farmalone they said i had exfoliate cheilitus this seems similar.. so ill tell you how i got cured hand sanitizer with aloe and vitamin e and wash ur lips with cetaphil facewash q tips and alcohol i use everclear more natural and use hand sanitizer cream its the lotion form of hand sanitizer as lip balm and bam! better.. had it for 4 years
I would not trust a youtube videos' advice as fare as I could throw it. I believe i have it. but my doctor is trying to pass the buck, telling me I have dry lower lip (for over 7 years my I add) and to jsut use some vaseline... Just doesnt want to refer me to someone who actually knows something, I dont want to be in the 6%-16% of whom Actinic Cheilitis developes into SCC, I'd rather cut my ferking lip off.!
I put rubbing alcohol, hand sanitizer, and hydrogen peroxide on it for like the first couple of days then I didnt put anything on it for the next couple of days let I dry out which hurt so id sooth it by rubbing it with baby wipes for a while I still didnt put any chap stick on it the whole time I started a multi vitamin with 100% iron in it and some B vitamins as well then I started sleeping at night with Vaseline and mines is clearing up well good luck sorry if this doesnt work for you!
all they tell you is to wash your mouth with dish soap, let it dry for 15 minutes, and then put vaseline over it and wait two hours. I find dabbing a little tea tree oil on the mouth works way better though.
I hate it when people try to rip off those of us who are suffering with an ailment such as this!! They're taking advantage of how difficult it is to get rid of this problem! Blows my mind!!

1. Boil water in a pot with lid on.
2. Collect the distilled water from the lid.
3. Dip the water, and clean the corner, 7-8 times a day.

It blows my mind on how they lure people who are suffering into buying a "secret instant cure" that will magically make it disappear.
But, before they promise to help...they want your credit card now! It's nothing else than preying on the vulnerable.
