  • Thanks for the review

  • You mentioned how much you liked the AK bayonets. I recently picked one up and I have one question... why is it upside down?

  • Did you do a nat geo show on surviving the end of society?

  • my uncle gave me this for my 16th birthday only a month back. its amazing to see what it really is :) thank you and i subbed

  • 2:22 A BOTTLE OPENER. russians like their vodka

  • Hey Sootch i have one of these but it looks like the grip is slightly different and it is missing the loop for the rifle barrel. The scabbard also doesnt have the thumb safety for when using the wire cutters. Apart from that it is IDENTICAL.

Any ideas? Maybe its a different model of the same knife?

  • its more or less same as the AK47 one, (which ive have for around 5 years and suffered lot of abuse and still looks new)

  • That hook looking groove is to place the wire in when using the wire cutter feature. Its the same on the AK style bayonets.

  • The KCB 70 will also fit on the Uzi, correct? Do they still manufacture these?

  • Stupid yank "I gotta hayve guns or i go die!"

  • Hi is the Stoner 63 rifle also known as the "Bull Pup" and will this bayonet fit it, if it isnt

    Bob

  • @labyonnette

Bullpup rifles have the magazine and receiver to the rear of the grip, examples include the FAMAS, the Steyr AUG, and the L85. And yes, the KCB 70 will fit the Stoner.

  • Holland yeah

  • did u remember to rack the slide and check the mag of the knife lol

  • What the fuck do you do with that?

  • @patrikk777 Are you asking how do you use a knife? Or maybe you're asking about the purpose of a knife? Maybe you should get out more.

  • @patrikk777

depends what situation should arise. :]

  • the stoner light machine gun is the modern weapon ever

  • He loves the AK/Soviet design! He's a commie! Get him!

  • i kno i kno its a part of the knife but i had the window closed when he said look at this tang this is fine tang lmfao

  • sweet

  • Very few people know what a stoner 63 is or was. designed by ex U.S. Marine Eugen Stone.

    Issued to U.S Navy Seals.

Stoner is one of the greatest American Firearms designers.

    Also responsible for the M-16.

    tHANKS GREAT EDUCATIONAL VIDEO.

  • its not called ex marine its former marine

  • Absolutely right. Once a Marine Always a Marine.

    Thanks for reminding me.

    A former Marine.

    Great Videos.

  • How can you safety check a bayonet?

  • @xboxrulez12 It's a joke.... Lol!

  • @sootch00 These bayonets are often erroneously identified as Eickhorn/Stoner bayonets.

In the mid-1970s the Eickhorn firm went bankrupt. One of the firm’s assets that was sold was their trademark. It was acquired by a German firm named GMS. I do not know the full name of the company. They manufactured these bayonets and a G3 bayonet, both bearing the squirrel trademark that is often attributed to Eickhorn. (Eickhorn did reacquire their trademark several years later.)

  • @xboxrulez12 make sure its sharp lol

  • That is a cool bayonet. I've been trying to get my hands on a G3 bayonet for my rifle but all the good ones are $150+.

  • i got one on my ak47... its fucking bigggg

  • 5-stars, sootch! Thanks for the post!

  • I thought that was what the WORLD wanted, for us to keep to ourselves. If the world gets it`s wish and takes out the golden goose, I wonder what they will do for food then? EAT DIRT? GO SOOTCH !

  • Great vid lol@"weapon has been safety checked" :)

  • 2:15 that thing is part of the wire cutter.

  • Heh...5stars, Faved. Excellent revue Don. Love that bayonet. Going to start looking for one of those. Thanks, EM

  • Naked Mole Rats

  • @sootch00 ROFL

  • @sootch00

You sure it's not zombie monkey squirrels? Those bastards are hell of an evil enemy.

  • @sootch00 You've won me over with that comment. You've earned yourself a subscriber.

  • that thing is gonna kill somebody.

  • I like the new black background as well

I vote we keep it!!! LOL... Great job sootch00, I kinda get disappointed when I dont see a vid from you, but it always seems to be worth the wait. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.

if you ever make it to arkansas lemme know, ill show ya how us rednecks go tactical! LOL

  • Very nice vid.. I really like how professional your stuff looks. nice job.

  • sootch00 you really did yourself a favor with the black background. I can't see difference between it and the video's black border.

  • Cool old sticker.

I just picked up a new Taiwanese made M-9 bayonet with most of the same functions for $50 on Fleabay.

    It seems well made.

  • Does anybody know if these are legal in Canada?

  • Good knife, I wonder what type of steel they use for the blades?

  • may be o ne day you can post video about tokarev 9mm , in algerian army they still use them

  • That's a huge Bayonet !! its over the time of close combat with bayonet

  • Actually thats about average size. If you want to see a huge bayonet check out the japanese type 30 from ww2. They used it on the type 99 rifle and that thing is 20 an 1/4 inches long.

  • Nice... I want to find a bayonet to fit my SGL21 that has a blade like that.

  • The tang on the M1 looks weak? How does the balance and strength feel with the handle on it? Could I split small trees or branches with it using a large stone or rock withit in a survival or camping situation? Never saw the wire cutting feature on a bayonet before,is that unique to that model? I found a site selling an exact one like yours for $125+ shipping. whatya think? Especially for the SHTF senario!

  • I would prefer more tang. That's the one advantage the M7 bayo has over the KCB70. The M1 balance is good and the grip is pretty sturdy but I have not tried any Katoning with this knife. The top of the blade is tapered for the saw teeth. It has many advantages though. Check Ebay for prices around $50. I saw 2-3 last night in that range. Thanks~

  • Great vid.

  • I don't like the new bayonets for the m-16. They feel cheep.

  • i wonder if some1 in ny can have 1 of these

  • sooth00... The notch in the scabbard is used during cutting barb wire. You set the notch on the wire. When cutting so the wire can't slide out. Great vid Gunny Z

  • Excellent! Thanks for the info my friend~

  • Comment removed

  • I want a chainsaw bayonet that be pretty cool. but nice review though

  • great video, where do you find one and also can you attach a bayonet to a mini 14?

  • Ha ha ha, "weapon has been safety checked" Hey are you from the south, sort of got the accent... cool.

  • Damn, i want one, i aint got a AR but thats a fine Knife, seems better than a Kabar in my opinion.

  • I love your videos! Quite informative!

"Bowie" is pronounced (bow-ee), not (bou-y)... Just so you know. ;-)

  • actually no. Jim Bowie who designed the "Bowie" knife pronounced his name "bou-ee." In addition... WHO CARES?!

  • Uhh, no. Jim Bowie did not pronounce his name "bow-ee".

  • Like David Bowie! LOL! Thanks~

  • Thanks sootch!

In typical sootch style, well researched and referenced . . . excellent!

  • I swear, Sootch, your reviews are very professional and informative. I almost expect a "brought to you by" and a company name at the end.

    Keep up the good work!

  • one of the few things usefull made by the dutch (in the weapons erea)

    nice vid sootch

  • That sure was a real good one :D

real hard to get. due to its illigal now a day's:-/ Your one lucky dude owning one :D

  • another good video 5 stars

  • very nice bayonet.

  • Maybe it also opens ammo can's....

  • i got such 1 from my father ^^ ..... its with a wooden grip ... really really nice ^^

  • or a wire stripper if you consider the blade would be shown at the hollow

  • Good point. Wire stipper would be useful. Yeah, I'm sure it has a function to the Stoner 63. Thanks~

  • with respect to the part of he sheath you couldnt understand...

i bet its for tightening nuts.......possibly on the rifle somwhere?

  • Thanks man, I always wondered how the wire cutter works.

  • ~Nice tool!

  • Very nice, we just bought a knife with a wire cutter. It was way more than $50 and it's not nearly the knife this is. :( Wish I had of seen this 6 mo ago. I have to find one of these. Thx, you allways find neat stuff. :)

  • Everyone needs a good trench knife. I've got an m9, and wish it did all that! Thanks for the info. I think I will find me one of those! : )
