Do you think we need to carry a gun? Aren't there a lot of grizzly bears and bisons in Yellowstone? Should I think it'll be just what we need,a gataway from work and city life?
I happen to live right by the park, I go to school right in front of the arch at the north entrance at gardiner highschool, so I see amazing things every day!!!
@AARFAN1100 You can make any group of photos into a movie by using progams like Adobe Elements. Even Windows comes with a free movie maker where you can upload photos (intead of video clips) and make a movies/slideshow. Hope that helps.
its really saddening that theres a giant super volcanoe that can go off anytime under this facanating beutifull nature park it will be so sad to see this beuty go
Yellowstone National Park area is in my opinion, the most our original national park in the world looking for ancient history and the current vision of the future after the outbreak of an even more intriguing is the issue because even wulkanolodzy can not foresee the eruption occurs when each of us can only spin your own conclusions
I spent a summer working in the Old Faithful Basin area. The delicacy and sheer beauty of God's creation in this park staggers me every time I consider it's vastness. A day does not go by when I don't think of the beauty of Yellowstone and the surrounding wilderness, and every few hours I find myself longing for it's grandeur...From June snows to the evening July rains. Bunsen Peak, Mt. Holmes, Yellowstone Lake, Shoshone lake...
...Mystic Falls, Crevasse lake. Bushwacks to take a swim in hidden lakes heated by thermal activity. My heart lives here, in the Rocky mountains, in the only place in this country where the last vestiges of unadulterated nature reside. Never have I considered myself to have a home, but the closest thing I come to upon pondering where most at home I feel, is to think on those days when I sat watching the beautiful sun set, surrounded by lodge-pole pines, on the bank of a babbling brook.
hello , this video used to be a video responce to a video put on by someone who had been to yellowstone, it was allways the first video to come up when you typed in yellowstone nationalpark, and the cover image was a long horned mountain sheep, i cannot find this video anymore and miss it as i greatly enjoyed the music on it, it was verry uplifting, can anyone tell me who that video was posted by or what the song was, any info much appreciated
still that was a long time ago its nature u cant blame it for doing its job nature is what keeps us alive if its animals or a volcano doesnt matter u would die without nature so love it while u live
I heard on the news this morning that yellow stone national park has been having earthquakes since dec 26th 2008 though they are small. And the ground has risen 6 inches. That is not a good sign as Yellowstone is actually a super volcano that last errupted over 70000 yrs ago.

I don't know much about rafting in that area so I don't know what skill is required. I would think that knowing how to swim would be helpful for any water sport. A person can get thrown while rafting so knowing how to swim should diminish the risk of drowning.
Yellowstone is a beautiful place. It is famous for being mostly untouched by human intervention and that is what makes it a fine place. It is sad though that people think of nature as separate from humans. We cage animals in National Parks because we don't know how to be one with nature.
did u guys here what happened. when my bros were there a kid fell into an acid pool. Thos blue water is acid pools. the crust broke and he fell in. he burned but survived.
I love it! Im going next week on July 23rd! One time my bros were there my brothers were looking at a buffalo 100yards away he turned around and a buffalo was in his face. lol

Unfortunately the volcano is responsible for this beauty.
I guess you could call it yellowstone's package deal to life on earth.

What do you mean? The Supervolcano IS the beauty of this place.
