  • I've quit with Allen Carr. This is my forth day. I've had a few wobbles, but I'm on course. I have to go through the information again and again. It's not so much the nicotine addiction, it's the belief that they are pleasurable that keeps you smoking. It does take effort to remove the illusion of pleasure, but it does not take willpower. I think I will be successful this time!

  • how is it going now!

  • @niansenx Using will power doesn't work it implies a sacrifice as Allan accurately describes. It's a trap, when I firsted started smoking I detested the smell and the taste it made me feel ill but I carried on because of external influences - peer pressure and the ridiculous belief that it was 'cool' to smoke before long I was trapped and brain washed. Withdrawal from nicotine is barely noticeable it is mostly psychological dependency. Allan breaks down those myths which permeate the mind

  • Selina scott used to be so hot. If she needed a kidney she can have one of mine for a night in bed. Allen Carr rocks!
