  • Beautiful gait

  • Woah! Love his stride!

  • thats fucking ugly...

  • Why Are People Arguing With Every Word Capped?!

  • Thanks for your comments. Rusty does demonstrate multiple genetic characteristics common to Appaloosas. Unfortunately back when the Appaloosa Horse Club stud books were open and they registered any horses with spots, they disqualified any horse demonstrating the curly gene- so the ApHC lost the opportunity to have hypoallergenic horses in their registry. Just like "Curly" describes but doesn't mean they are ABCR registered, we describe(d) him as appaloosa because it was commonly understood.

  • Gorgeous horse!

  • beautiful horse!

  • I would kill for a Bashkir Curly.. *sigh* DREAM HORSE

  • OMG I love your logo!

  • How much per unit of '#'?

  • Stunning horse :) I have a 2 1/2 year old Bashkir, she's Dun.

  • the only thing that this horse is missing is a racking gait :)

  • he looks really happy...he has a lovely face ^^

  • hes beautiful.I'm in Love <3

  • to each their own.....

  • How much does the semon cost?

  • So which is it , an Appaloosa or a Bashkir Curly ? Because it can't be both.

  • @nags2bitches Well obviously he can...

  • @nags2bitches How ? A Thoroughbred can't be a clydesdale, a shetland can't be a cleveland bay, so how can a bashkir curly be an Appaloosa ? Doesn't make sense.

  • @nags2bitches Its a freaking color! Shetlands can be appaloosa spotted, so can Bashkirs. It really isnt that hard to understand.

  • @CHEVYedsf No it's not a colour, it's a breed , but ignorant people will call any breed with spots 'appaloosa' because they don't know any better. Like calling a spotted dog a 'dalmation' even though it isn't.

  • @nags2bitches OMG are you being stupid on purpose? It's just like Pinto and Paint. Paint is the breed, Pinto is the color. In this case, there is no letter distinction between the two. Appaloosa is a stock type BREED, but Appaloosa spotted is the COLOR type. Seriously, look up your facts before posting ignorant crap!

  • @CHEVYedsf Hahahahaha .Paint means painted and pinto means painted in spanish, what does appaloosa , mean ? It sure doesn't mean spotted , and many Appaloosas don't have spots.

  • @nags2bitches At first I thought you were being stupid on purpose but now I know that you cant help it. Its pretty bad that you can't wrap your head around a simple statement. Have fun being stupid.

  • @CHEVYedsf Actually it is a minor point. Appaloosa as a word never existed until a breed name was decided upon. Before that all spotted horses were described as just that, spotted. Appaloosa is a made up word derived from where the Appaloosa breed originated, the Palouse area. It is only because of the Appaloosa's notoriety for spotted coats that the word Appaloosa has since come to mean any spotted coat.

  • @GeordieTerrier Right. I know where they came from and how they got their name. Im just saying that NOW, in this era, the proper term for a spotted horse is Appaloosa Spotted.

  • @CHEVYedsf Actually, An Appaloosa Is A Breed Not A Coat Pattern, Appaloosa's Have Other Distinctions Than Just Spots, Eg. Striped Hooves, The Whites Of Their Eyes Show, Pink Skin Around Eyes And Mouth, Just Because It Has Spots It Doesnt Make It An Appaloosa, And You Can Have A Solid Colour Appaloosa... Such As Bay. The Proper Term For A Spotted Horse Is ... A Spotted Horse, Not Appaloosa. ITS A BREED, NOT A COLOUR!!!!

  • @Chappalowe No Shit The Appaloosa Is A Breed. I Know Very Well The Breed Requirements. I Used To Own One. Its Also A Color! Btw... Learn to type, retard.

  • @CHEVYedsf Its Not A Colour!! You Can Get Solid Colour Appaloosa's So How Could Appaloosa Be A Colour? The Horse In The Video Is A Near Leopard Spotted Horse. Not An Appaloosa. Medal For You, You Owned One. I Breed Them, Own 8 At The Moment Do I Get A Medal Too? LOL

  • @Chappalowe So how do you explain those minis that are appaloosa spotted, hm? Are you saying those are appaloosas? And colorado rangers, knapstrups.. Its a color AND breed. Just because you own 8 does not make you an expert on the subject LOL.

  • @Chappalowe I wouldn't bother arguing with them, they don't want to be corrected. Some people THINK it is the colour because they are too lazy to find out that it's correctly labelled spotted, others think it is because damn, appaloosas are spotty so obviously spotty horses are appaloosa coated. Despite spotted being way older than that breed. It's really annoying cause it means if I wanna find a certain coat of Appaloosa other breeds pop up, or maybe that's an ulterior motive in modern breeders

  • @GeordieTerrier At Last Some One With Brains! Thats What I Don't Understand, How People Can Call Any Thing With Spots An Appaloosa,Yet Some Appaloosas Are Completly Bay Or Black Or Grey!No Spots In Sight! So How Could It Be 'A' Colour! Like I Said Just Because You Have A Bay Shetland It Wouldn't Make It A Bay Clydesdale cause They're The Same Colour!! Completely Different Breed Of Horse.Same As A Knabstrupper And Appaloosa Are Completely Different Breeds Of Horse.

  • @Chappalowe Thats the same with paint. Just because a horse had blotches or spots doesnt make it a paint.

  • Go To The Appaloosa Horse Club Uk Website... Click On Appaloosa Characteristics Then See Under Coat Patterns, Have Fun Learning.... Retard. :D

  • @nags2bitches its a cross bred, one of the parents were a curly, the other an appy :) hope this helps

  • @warriorcats5656 wait sorry, just remembered, they can be leopard. i mistaked him for a blanket, sorry people

  • like it :-)

  • I have some curlies who when excited hold their tails pointing forward over the rump and like a warthog!!

  • so is the appaloosa gene dominant? if i bred my bay mare to an appaloosa would i get an appy? gorgeous stallion btw

  • He is beautiful! :)

  • Absolutely gorgeous stallion ! I love the fluidity in his movement. And his coat is just amazing =)

  • love his movement! nice horse!

  • Is he Half Arabian Cause Appalossa shouldnt have their tail up like that well the do but not that high

  • thats not true... any horse can hold its tail up like that lmao

  • my tb can hold his tail vertically

  • @chrisbrownsgirl100 He's an Appaloosa stallion. Appaloosas are known for their spirit, much like Arabians.

  • @GothicTrioOfEdwards yeah i have one but hes gelded:)

  • @GothicTrioOfEdwards actually he's a Bashkir Curly Stallion =] not an Appaloosa stallion, that's just his color

  • @ShelbiSexy Appaloosa should not be used as a name for color.

  • @ShelbiSexy "appaloosa" isn't a color... its a breed. He has a good trot.. but even with the flashy spots and the curls... doesn't negate the fact that he has a short neck, huge head and a body like a barrel. Sadly breeding for color and 'oh so rare coat qualities' doesn't improve his body confirmation...

  • @Shokara2 Appaloosa is both a stock horse breed and a color decribing any horses with spotting like this horse has. I've studied horse colors all my life I would know what I'm talking about.

  • @Shokara2 Appaloosa IS also a color, technically its called appaloosa spotted. Just like Paint is the breed and Pinto is the color.

  • @Shokara2 That's just how the bashkir breed looks.

  • @chrisbrownsgirl100 do research on your horses please... any horse can hold their tails up like that if they want to.

  • @chrisbrownsgirl100 yes they can. any horse can, arabians are just more excitable than other horses, so they put their tail up more

  • @warriorcats5656 any horse can raise their tail up high at any time. arabians are only different because they have on tiny extra vertibrae on their tails. it looks higher than others.

  • thts an impressive boy you got there

  • AMAZING!Bashirs are my life!I have a video of Charmer the Bashkir on my profile!

  • Gorgeous coat, and he moves beautifully! It's like watching him dance. He knows he's handsome, doesn't he?

  • he definatly knows hes handsome. lol my horse has the same problem (;
